2023-12-02 18:25:52The food is really good for the price and its a pretty nice environment. Its definitely Americanized but delicious nonetheless and I really enjoyed it. I went with a big party and we all had an amazing time and ate a lot. The Mushu pork and the walnut pecans are absolute musts!!! The dessert cheesecake is light and a nice finish to the meal.

2023-08-11 02:11:26Probably the single worst Chinese food experience I’ve had in Palo Alto. They tried to sell us twice fried pork and it was completely messed up. The owner actually came out and had the audacity to tell us “yea we know you know what real Twice Fried Pork is and this is fake, but we don’t care. If you don’t like it we’ll take it back”. I actually burst out laughing! I’ve never had a manager blatantly tell me they cook a fake dish! Really funny but would never eat here again.

2023-09-02 05:30:49Its easy to get walnut shrimp right. Its sweet, and nothing too fancy to get too wonky. But chow fun is definitely a different animal. Add prawns into that and it has the possibility of everything going sideways. This restaurant though had both of those dishes down pat. Even the Rangoon is better than Ive had at most places. Honestly a super good meal, well priced, and good portion sizes. The BBQ bun did seem a bit doughy but everything else was so good it didnt affect my score at all(Plus doughy just means they actually cook them there, rather than frozen Robert Sysco food.)Im posting a picture but do know I ate quite a bit first. I was hungry and I didnt plan on sitting around, IG-ing my shrimp dish. There was a ton more shrimp, I promise.Great job. Great food. Good prices and good portions.

2023-07-31 02:08:15None of the items we got were authentic.- Westlake Beef Soup: Wasnt bad, just didnt taste like westlake beef soup.- Tea Duck: Came with buns that usually you would put meat and veggies in to eat like a sandwich or wrap, but every pc of duck had bones or splinters in it ...- Dan Dan Noodles: Tasted like peanut sauce noodles with some non-sichuan chili sauce. Also chopsticks were not offered by default.

2023-06-19 05:45:37Landed here super hungry and tired. It’s an old style restaurant with table covers and carpeted floors. We Ordered tofu soup, vegetable dumplings in chili oil and roasted string beans after a long day of walking. We wanted something warm and comforting. Soup and dumplings were super. Tasted even better with their chilli paste. The beans had a pungent smell and taste could be reused oil or cooked without cleaning the last dish could have been meat. Vegetarian friendly if you’re not very very particular like my mother. There’s plenty of restaurants around.

2023-04-28 11:19:44I 1st ate at this restaurant in the late nineties. I love all types of food. Chinese food is one of my favorite foods to eat. This is the best Chinese food restaurant I have ever dined at! If you have a favorite dish, its better here. Anything you order here will be Delicious! Great location in downtown Palo Alto, but plan to eat early because parking and tables fill up fast. The staff is curtious, tables are kid friendly, the ambiance and decor is ornate, yet subtle. The only criticism I can make is sometimes it takes awhile to get your check, and the bathroom is next to the kitchen. If you havent been to Jing Jings, GO. Tonight. You can thank me later.
