The food in the restaurant was actually not bad, I enjoyed the rolls I had and the gyozas. The problem is that right after eating here our family of 10 felt sick to their stomachs. Also the service was very bad, we had to ask a couple times for plates, sticks and napkins because they kept bringing the food without offering us the utensils.

My favorite sushi restaurant never fails to impress! The quick and accommodating service is a standout feature. The recent addition of the outdoor area is a game-changer – it adds a fantastic atmosphere to the dining experience. The sushi selection is top-notch, with fresh and expertly crafted rolls. Came for lunch with family. We ordered some sake and Tonkotsu Ramen and a bunch of rolls. The rolls were pretty good, I dont remember the names, I just asked the server what her favorites were. We sat outside, and the ambiance inside or outside is pretty good. We had a good service and a good food overall.

This is easily my favorite sushi place. They have tons of different kinds of sushi, sashimi, and lots of other stuff. It’s moderately priced, and always tastes amazing. I recommend this to anyone who loves sushi. It’s certainly worth stopping at.

Found my go-to sushi spot! I love love love their crispy rice and raiders roll. Sushi is high quality fish and everything is made with the right proportion of fish to rice to sauce.The outside patio is cute and is a great place to sit and chat with friends and family over a nice meal.+1000 for having amazing service! Ps the chef is so sweet!Parking is abundant and easy.

Jinme is a combination of Asian flavors melding japanese, Korean and Chinese street food in a casual dining atmosphere. The atmosphere is simple and unfussy. The bento box consists of rice, miso soup, salad, appetizer and a small portion of protein. This was my first bento box experience and I was not impressed. Jinme specialty is sushi and ramen bowls. The ramen was flavorful and served hot. Even though, it was the incorrect ramen ordered. The restaurant was only a quarter full and three waitstaff were on duty, however we only saw our waiter three times. Another waiter from a different section was gracious enough to get an item we needed. This is not a great date spot considering the service and prices.

Loved this place! The Korean chiraishi and the crispy rice balls were amazing. The food is full of flavors and the fish is fresh. The servers were also super friendly and helpful. I love the ambience of this place - its the perfect place to grab a chill dinner with some friends.I highly recommend this place! Will definitely be coming back.

Sharshi is a true test of most all Sushi shops. Atmosphere is acceptable. Crew is friendly. Best in Auburn at this time. Rue is still up in Nevada City. Tried Korean Sharshi today! Huge bed of Spring lettuce & Rice. I prefer sliced vs chopped Sushi. It was really good. Great value.

Our favorite Sushi restaurant. The food is always consistently at a high quality, and the owners are always behind the counter making sure the food is perfect. The servers are also very nice and friendly. Highly recommend for great Japanese food. Our favorites are the Spicy Ramen, Hamachi Kama, and any of the sushi rolls.

We have been here twice in the past month and it is our new favorite sushi place. The staff was extremely polite and helpful and we never wait long for our food to get to our table. The sushi is phenomenal and delicious and their sashimi is creamy and buttery. 10/10 can’t wait to come back again. Order the Obi Wan Kenobi roll! Yes we are starwars fans but this roll is actually delicious.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I eat a lot of sushi and this is by far my favorite that Ive ever had. The bbq albacore is amazing and their rolls are huge and packed with so much yummy stuff. The Cherry Blossom roll is gigantic and the hillbilly and obi-wan are my other two favorites. Service is fast and all of the staff are really nice as well

The food is good, this was my 3rd visit for to go food, but they really should update the website with correct pricing. I bought 3 rolls and all of them were $2 more each versus what the site states. Also, one roll was missing the avocado and tempura crumbs on top, the Victorian. Still left a tip for to go order because the staff is super nice. Please update your website.

Service and food were excellent. My boyfriend ordered the bento box with sashimi and teriyaki salmon and a scallop hand roll. He loved it and is had no complaints. He normally complains about something, but had no complaints this time. I ordered ramen with kim chee and pork belly. It was very good, but next time would probably chose one without the kim chee. The ambiance was great. We sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed it.

Fantastic portions and quality! Recommend the 15 piece sashimi plate and cherry blossom 🌸 roll.Cassidy gave us fantastic customer service. Took the time to get to know us and took gluten free seriously! Id say shes the best service since Ive moved here from San Francisco.If you order the Bibimbop, just know its not traditional (with stone pot), but I liked it. We were more than a little intrigued when we heard we could get ramen and bibimbap in Auburn.We were very happy with the experience. The ramen was a delicious spicy ramen, but next time I want to try the tonkotsu with the spicy broth. The bibimbap was great too, but we thought maybe a little too much rice. Thats a matter of preference though.We also tried the gyoza and the pepperfin to round out our meal. They were both very tasty.The restaurant was very clean, the service was good, and the kitchen was speedy getting out our food.All in all, we had a great experience.

Been 3x. Always for Ramen never for sushi. Been mediocre every time but also completely different every time. No consistency. Last time my water tasted like dish water. I asked for extra spicy ramen and it tasted like munchamen straight from the package. Edamame was cooked on the flat top instead of steamed. Green ramen noodle????? Everything was reay weird. The only reason for 3 stars instead of two is the quality of the pork belly in the ramen was pretty good.

I visited this place with a friend of mine. We shared an entree and we each got a sushi roll. The quality was very good the sushi rolls were large and appealing looking. Ill definitely return and I would highly recommend this place.

The food isnt that bad for a restaurant that has no Japanese or Oriental staff. The problem I have with this place is the service. Horrible service. They keep the phones off the hook, so you cant order in.I took the time to make the drive, and to make an order TO GO. They close at 9pm. I came at 8:38 wanting to place one order, but they refused to service me, and instead lied to me saying they closed at 8:30pm.I understand that the employees want to go home, but I would have ordered earlier if someone answered their phone. Their prices are more expensive than your average sushi place, but what can you do? Inflation is a convenient excuse to raise prices; though, inflation is a legitimate reason, Ive been to sushi restaurants that have more reasonable prices. Not really a deal breaker.I didnt feel respected as a customer, and this isnt the only time I felt like this, dealing with this place. I feel like if I was a different person, I would have been served.

It was super busy, and we defaulted to sitting out on the patio, which made me nervous (it was cold). To my surprise, it was really cozy and way more comfortable and quiet than the ambiance going on inside. The food was delicious, but the rolls were super thick.. a little too much rice packed for my liking. Good gluten-free options, but not many. The staff is fantastic!

Based off other reviews I was expecting good ramen. What I got was THE BEST ramen Ive ever had! Not only that, the sushi, Korean food, everything looked and smelled amazing. We went for lunch during work but plan on driving up from Rocklin with the family for a delicious dinner meal. Dont hesitate. Get that good good.

My Oh My. Where do I begin with this place. Jinme Ramen & Sushi Bar was Absolutely Fantastic. I had a Beautiful Experience that I wanted to share. The food was out of this world Delicious. The service was superb. Everything was prepared fresh, for example the wasabi was fresh and really outstanding. The food was so good that we all dove in and the photo is the aftermath of our food consumption. I highly recommend this place who has a craving for sushi or ramen.

They sometimes answer the phone, or not, put you on indefinite hold, and then hang up on you. They have done this multiple times on many different occasions. Their food is good, if you can get an order in, but dont expect good customer service for phone in orders. So disappointing. BTW, I usually never post negative comments about restaurants but the management needs to make some improvements on how staff treat phone orders because we ALWAYS tip well on take out. I guess we are ex-customers now because they dont want take out business.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I live locally and have tried to like this place so many times... I wont ever eat here again. The last time my partner and I dined there, we waited 15-20 min for our server to approach the table (young blonde woman). When our server did arrive, she didnt greet us, no smile, asked us what we wanted. Now I get that everyone has bad days, but the same server was previously at another table near ours where she was smiling, laughing, friendly. Not sure what the issue was when she got to our table, but she was not friendly at all. She briskly took our order, and then we literally never saw her again. Never checked back in with us--in fact no one did. I had to flag someone down for utensils, plates, and wasabi after our food arrived.Food took a while, which was surprising cause there were like 4 other tables in there. Edamame arrived and was still super hard, like it hadnt been cooked. My partners ramen was absolutely flavorless, with zero umami flavor. It seemed like it was just cloudy water broth, not tonkatsu pork broth. My roll has the texture of glue, since the rice was very old and overcooked. I couldnt even get past two pieces. The roll was also not cut all the way through so the roll got pretty destroyed as I was trying to eat it. This has been a common theme with their rolls since they opened. I dont think Ive ever received a roll from them that was cut all the way through. The piece of hamachi nigiri I also ordered was SO FISHY. Like bad bad fishy. Couldnt put it in my mouth. So incredibly disappointing.Prices are outrageous for the experience provided. There are too many other sushi restaurants that serve better ramen, have a better attitude, and serve fresher fish.Hard pass on this place. I hope they read this and DO BETTER for this town.

The waiter I had was awesome but I cant say the same for the food. I so badly wanted to enjoy it but somehow my burning hot takoyaki had a icy frozen octopus inside. I was in awe more so over how that was possible considering how hot it was. Even when it had time to cool down the inside felt soggy from the ice. The roll I recieved looked nice but it didnt taste very appetizing. This was for my in person visit.I ordered through door dash the first time but ended up not receiving my whole order within the to go box they put it in. I really wanted to like it there but I couldnt enjoy it.

What a great find! The food is excellent. The facility is nice, with a nice enclosed patio for extra space. Which they need at times, because it seems a popular place!The servers are friendly and the management attentive. Sometimes they seem a little understaffed, so be prepared to wait--but just a little. If you have two and a half hours to kill, the food is very good. Incredibly long wait to get food. Rolls came out a full 25 minutes after the entrees. So we started eating, as the men were finishing eating. Although it is my favorite restaurant around to get rolls (Cherry Blossom is my favorite) I dont think well be back any time soon.

I cant rave about this place enough. It absolutely ROCKS! The sushi is the best in placer county by far. Lived in placer county my whole life and I am so happy Jinme Sushi popped up. We get it every week delivered (still amazing even delivered!) and its our favorite part of the week. The flavors and sauces on the sushi are fantastic. The fish always tastes very fresh and never gritty. The quality is impressive. This place beats most of my favorite sushi spots like blue nami and makunis. Its a must if you are craving saucy sushi!

So Ive had a couple ok experiences with the food here but Unfortunely Ive had more where the food just tasted average which makes it worse given the higher price point compared to other similar restaurants in the area. Today in particular was the most disappointing: The spicy ramen (ordered on level 3 in terms of spice), was not very spicy, but the worst was that it just tasted bland, so I was there having to force down a rather unappetizing dish that was 15 dollars.Worse than the spicy ramen, was the rather misleading spicy sesame chicken appetizer. This item description is fried chicken mixed in special Korean spicy sweet sauce. What it does not tell you at all, is that the chicken is actually chicken bone wings, so not only was that not I wanted or was expecting, it means there is even less chicken to actually eat due to the bones (the sauce was also average). I didnt think they would have such a misleading description of an item. It already cost 12 dollars for that alone (almost as much as the disappointing spicy ramen), so I knew it was a bit over priced, but given how small the wings were and how there wasnt much meat, I definitely left feeling like I got robbed. I dont think Ill be coming back for awhile, if even that.

I would love to leave 5 stars because I Love the food here, and I’ve only had one bad time here. I recently ordered pickup and only realized once I was home that they’d forgotten half of the items in two bento boxes. I had to call multiple times to get an answer (one time I was on hold for over 10 minutes) and they said they’d refund me. I gave them several days to fix this error before leaving this review because I really Do love the restaurant, but this is just disappointing. Never received the refund.Overall great restaurant but make sure to check you receive all you ordered before leaving.

The food and rolls are very generous, tasty, well presented and, overall, very good. However, the prices posted on this website are inaccurate and everything was $1 or $2 more. We would also suggest they work on their customer service. We did take out on a Friday and they had taken their phone off the hook because they were so busy. Then we had an hour wait for takeout. We will go back because the food is so good and hopefully we will have a better experience.

When we went in we had to wait a while but I did not mind that. What I did mind was that there was broken pieces of shell in my seafood udon, and that they had swapped the broth to a pork broth rather than the soy sauce broth that was mentioned in the menu. Unfortunately, I don’t eat pork. When I told a staff member they didn’t offer a refund nor was I looking for one. I don’t think I will ever go back to this establishment.

Jinme has the best sushi in Auburn. They have a large selection of everything. They staff is friendly and the restaurant is always clean. The sushi chefs work very hard to get what you order out to you fast. They will also alter a roll the way you want. I went to order take out, and even though the restaurant was packed, I didnt wait more than 10 minutes from the time I placed my order until it was placed in my hand and it was a pretty good sized order. We waited over an HOUR long for our food because they “misplaced” our food ticket and when we finally got it they completely forgot about my daughter and my food all together so they only brought in my husbands food. So I’m a regular there and I love their food. However the last few times we have been the staff and service have been terrible. When you want to place a phone order and they get busy they turn their phone off so they can not take anymore orders because they are busy. That came directly from their staff. We went to dinner on Thursday and sat outside, we gave the person our name and she said 25 minutes. That was fine. Than she started cleaning tables and than someone came behind us and she seated them. Then looked at us and asked if we were waiting for a table. Mind you we were waiting for 45 minutes by the time she asked. When I walk in to get food I stand out of the way from the staff they ignore me everytime and it never fails for 6 minutes before they ask if I need anything.

Disappointed!! Customer service of front staff has been a lack there of. We recently moved to Auburn, sushi lovers. Our first experience we could not get through by phone to place an order to go. So we decided to drive there, we waited over an hour for our order. We prefered to wait in our vehicle and the girl who took our order said she would call us when it was ready, after waiting the hour, we went in and it had been sitting on the table for a while. The sushi itself was good. Tonight we tried to give them a second try. They open at 5p, we started calling right at 5 to place our order. After 43 attempts we finally got through. The time was now 5:10p and the extremely unfriendly front staff girl again said it would be 45 mins to an hour wait. When questioned that they had only been open for 10 mins she replied that they already had a restaurant full of customers, customers lined up outside and a long list of door dash orders. Even though the sushi was good the first time we will not be patroning this establishment again because of her poor communication and customer service.

I have eaten here half a dozen times and tried many dishes and found them all to be exceptional. The only criticism I have is that I prefer my tempura to be Individual vegetables as opposed to spiralized and all together. Nov 14, 2020. Today there were over 180,000 new covid cases in the US. Scary. I called in a to go order. When I arrived & stepped inside to pay I saw everyone cooking or serving food either with a paper/cloth mask hanging below the nose. Or one of those half face shields that literally does nothing. The head sushi maker had on a gator cloth mask that I just saw a review of last evening by the infectious disease department saying they were basically ineffective as well. I will not be returning until covid has past. Or perhaps never as food safety here is clearly not a priority.

Great choice for quality vegan/vegetarian options, I also enjoyed the traditional fish/shellfish rolls. They are larger rolls, plenty of rice and filling.

Worst place ever. Arrived at 7:50 pm closes at 9:00. Was going to seat me inside, but manager said only outside. Being 95 degrees, they can pack sand. I thought I would give the business local a chance since last time the food was bad, Very bad. Do not eat here, find another place

The place was packed and they couldnt keep up. We had cold calamari, cold tea, the beer was cold that was a plus. After a 60 min wait time without our 3 sushi rolls we left and our waitress had RBF all night long. We will not go back.
