Some of the best Ramen Ive had.I ordered the Flying Vegan Harvest Ramen bowl. I also got the Impossible Gyoza. Both were phenomenal! The ambiance was great. Loved the fire pit table. The staff was courteous and prompt. I loved everything about this place! So much in fact that I went back the next day for more! Highly recommend if you like Ramen!

It was a little cold outside but they had plenty of heat lamps to keep you warm. In the court yard there is also a huge bar like table that encircles a gigantic fire pit in the middle. So much fun to sit by eat and eat. The only so so I put I have, if I had to pick on anything, is to please make the menus with larger print.

January 2023 - Short wait for a party of 4 on a Friday night! We barely beat the rush because there were a few parties waiting outside after we got seated.Food/Pricing - Tonkatsu Spicy ($17.50) - The broth was tasty (without being overly salty) and the noodles were chewy!Service/Ambiance - Service was very friendly and attentive. We were seated on the outside patio and it was freezing, however, we were perfectly positioned between two heat lamps so it was nice and warm!Parking - Ended up street parking in the next block over. Parking was difficult to find as it is a busy area. Had to circle around a couple of times to find a spot.

Great little ramen place with outdoor seating. I recommend the spicy Tonkatsu Ramen and jinya buns. I would have loved an egg in there. Excellent service and the servers were really friendly. Parking was a little tough.

We absolutely love Jinya and eat there at least once a month. Not only is the food excellent the service has always been great. Our last few visits, our waiter Dillon was super friendly, made great suggestions for menu items and, he even remembered what my daughter orders. We highly recommend Jinya!

Enjoyed the appetizers here.I give 5 stars for that.But only 4 stars for the ramen.Idk, the taste was good. But not amazing as those I had in Japan Kyoto. Looking forward to have more next time!Still 5 stats overall. The parking is not that friendly.

Had such a great time here! First of all, the staff was so friendly and fun. We loved the outdoor dining and were warm by the heaters.Spicy tuna crispy rice was a little salty but otherwise we loved all the food.The Spicy Creamy Vegan ramen is so tasty and such a great way to make sure your ramen is healthy and light. I saved some of it for lunch the next day!

I got the Jinya Tonkotsu Black and it was really good, with the secret sauce and extra garlic it made it just right. My table also ordered the Caramelized Cauliflower and Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, both were really good too. The ambiance was nice at their outdoor patio in the evening. Our waiter was very lackluster then we had another waiter cover his break and he brought the energy and actually made a personal connection with my table and even gave us recommendations! Id definitely go back, the prices were typical and street parking wasnt difficult to find near by either.

Very atmospheric outdoor seatings, especially during the winter time. We went on a Thursday night but there was still a little wait. Food came out surprisingly fast and it was delicious. Although spicy does not mean spicy AT ALL, if you like spicy order the HOT.

Jinya in Burbank has the most amazing and vibrant feeling. The fire and the lights make you feel warm. I liked the ambience.Firstly coming to the food, being vegan, I havent tried many options for Ramen. However, youll get the best Vegan Ramen here. We liked it so so much. They have 2 options in vegan Ramen out of that we ordered Flying Vegan Harvest which was out of the world. Hands down 🙌Also, we ordered a few appetizers - Impossible™ Gyoza which is Vegan again and Jalapeño Butter Corn which was made vegan on our request. Both of the appetizers were delicious and recommended by Staff - Chris.Now, coming to the drinks.. on recommendation of Chris we ordered 2 sake and I dont remember the names. I have picture though. They were absolutely the best.I must recommend this place if youd like to have vegan Japanese cuisine.

Really nice vibe and friendly service here. I ordered the shrimp tempura which was delicious, actually one of the best Ive tasted. The chicken ramen was also very tasty, and the broth flavoursome. The only thing was that there might be a bit of a wait time during busy hours, but there were still a lot of tables and seats free which confused some of us that were waiting. Prices slightly above average but it is very nice food.

Dillon at the Burbank location was very attentive. He was very sweet to our toddler and very helpful with suggestions on the menu. It’s was incredibly hot outside for July and he brought us tons of ice to keep our drinks cold. Love this restaurant.

Celebrating my birthday with my sister and little niece at Jinyas (before the pandemic!) Jinya is one of my favorite go to spots in the area with for sake, sushi, noodles and those delicious little tacos...yummy! ... I miss hanging out here with my friends. I cant wait to visit again soon🌺

This place used to be a regular spot for me and my husband since 2016. Idk what happened but quality and service has been so downhill. 1 star for food. I got the spicy chicken ramen and it tasted like tomato soup. My husband got the spicy tonkotsu and said the noodles tasted like soap, like they didn’t properly clean the bowl. We waited 10 minutes for the drinks after we gave them our order. Of course the atmosphere is nice and trendy but the food was soooo below mid that there’s no way we are going back. 20 dollars a ramen bowl IS NOT WORTH IT

Amazing food. The staff are very friendly. The space is inviting and plenty of space between tables. I have never had pork taste so melt in my mouth amazing. You can choose your heat and the waitress translated my wishes to perfection. Yum!

Inside and outdoor seating available with some heaters outside. Cash and card accepted and plenty of parking. Had the house tonkotsu black ramen along with hot green tea and both were delicious. Prompt and courteous service as well while sitting at the bar. Not much atmosphere inside, but outside is a touch more interesting! Recommended.

I’m a JINYA regular. I’ve been to 8-9 JINYA locations in CA, NV, UT. This location needs some help in the kitchen. The food quality has been deteriorating with every visit. My preference would be the Studio City location for consistency. It’s a shame because this is such a nice location 😢.The spicy tempura shrimp oiling and soggy which points to the temp of the fryer oil. I sent my pork chasu bowl back because the pork was dry like carnitas, but not the good carnitas the day old kind. Such a shame.

7-1-21:After a light dinner, walked past Jinya and decided to share a 🍜 of ramen. Ordered the one with brussel sprouts and it was delicious. Char sui was nicely grilled. Broth tasted rich and creamy.Service was friendly and staff wore masks. Felt like a safe environment. Ambiance is very nice.Overall, even though I overate, Im glad I stopped by to try this place. We showed up around 4pm on the Friday after Christmas after a day visiting Ikea. We had two tired children and were surprised by how long it took them to sit us.The restaurant is basically patio seating only and it was a bit windy and cold. I asked for them to move a heater next to our table and they did, but they never bothered to turn the heater on!!! Couple that with very dirty spoons and a bit of slow service and you can say that the service left us wanting more.But the food... Oh my God! The spicy tonkotsu was one Id the best Ive ever had. Ramen noodles had so much flavor and the broth was delicious. I should have ordered extra chashu pork because it was so damn good.Overall, 4 stars because the food was just so good. Service was really like a 2. Staff were friendly just too slow and a few too many small mistakes.

They try to position as a Ramen place. But the Ramen is horrible :(I always like to have one on my Sunday evening. And stop to try it here. The worst I ever had. Raw chicken stock with average taste noodles and outdated lookin unsalted chicken breast.Completely disappointed. Will never come back, again. Second star only for cool fireplace. Not recommended.

Bitter sweet experience. Service was good and accommodating. My Ramen was cooked perfectly and flavor was spot on. Kids Ramen were not that great and the boys were not fond of them. And my boys really love ramen. My wifes ramen had undercooked noodles and she was not a happy camper. I would go again and stick strictly to the ramen I ordered. Spicy unami Ramen. Ground beef and bean sprouts were amazing.

Horrible service and super dry dumplings which I guess where made a week before and frozen or they bought a pack of dumplings at Costco and sold as their product!I discovered that they charged me more for cilantro but they never told me so watch out for your bill because they like to pump it and take your free money! Good food but takeout service needs work. Didnt have the phone on so as I arrived to take out in person I heard another party tell them the phones were down and they went to check. I was told my appetizer would hold up the order and take 20 minutes so I scrapped it so itd take 10. 15 minutes later its 2 more minutes, and now 22 minutes later I still have no foodEdit: after 25 minutes I got my order, missing parts of it. I contacted them and they have made it right.

Their ramen is really great and the service is excellent. I didnt have a single problem with the waiters bringing me what I asked for and they occasionally stopped by me to check if I needed anything extra. I also liked that you could order extra noodles if you didnt finish your broth. The only problem I had with the place is the way they serve drinks. I ordered a Chardonnay and they only filled up like 1/3 the glass. The glass was only $9.00 but I was expecting it to be filled at least a little more than half. It was unsatisfying drinking so little. My dad also had a beer with a coffee flavor, but the beer was poured out of a can. Even though my Dad really liked the beer, he can simply buy it at his nearest BevMo. I was expecting better liquor choices here. Nevertheless, this is a great restaraunt to visit for the food itself.

The price to portion ratio is upsetting. We ordered a bunch of appetizers, and were disappointed to see that $40 in appetizers can fit in the palm of your hand. The Ramen itself was good but they forgot to put the egg in mine. We ended up paying $100 and went to eat a burger after. Not bad, but not the Jinya I remember.

Traveling in from out of town and was happy to see a familiar ramen spot. I had a chance to visit the Vegas location so I felt confident the Burbank location would deliver. Went on a busy Sunday evening. They have a great outdoor seating area with a cool fire pit feature that you could sit at. But no spots available so the hostess sat me inside by the ramen bar. No complaints here.Ordered the crispy chicken to start off. I love that they use chicken thighs for this dish. I also really liked the citrus dressing that came on the side salad. It also tasted great on the chicken! I went with the original tonkotsu ramen modified with some shrimp wontons for my main course. It’s great that you can add toppings to your ramen here. Broth was delicious and the noodles were slurp-tastic. Finished with their homemade panna cotta. Delicious and silky. Who knew you could get a yummy Italian dessert at a Ramen bar? There’s also a nice Japanese beer list, some nice sake options and a few wine options.Really nice option for solo dining or with a group. Service was prompt and attentive. Wonder where I’ll try Jinya next?

Awesome location for Jinya! This spot has a really cool open patio with a giant fire pit and multiple tables. The ramen is very good, remenisicnt of broths in Japan. Tried a new appertizer this time and it was very interesting. Tempura eel, seasoned egg, tempura avacado and tofu. Liked it but it was pretty heavy. If you love garlic get the cha Cha Cha, its bomb and reminds me almost exactly of a place in Kyoto station!

My friends like coming here but Im just ok with it although the white pearl vegetarian ramen was tasty - weird to just put an impossible patty in it, Id rather just have more broccolini or veggies. The chicken karage isnt the most tender because they use white meat and I dont find the batter that appetizing. The service was a average at best, kept forgetting to refill my green tea and to separate my bill. Oh well.

It’s been forever since I’ve been to a ramen bar, so naturally I was excited!My wife and I both ordered Echigo Red ale. Super smooth and lived up to my expectations of a solid red ale.I ordered the Salmon Mini Tacos, Tuna Mini Tacos and a California Poke Bowl. Sharing the tacos with my wife. Between the tacos, the salmon was easily my favorite. The fresh herbs really shown through and balanced the fish. The tuna tacos were good, but a little overwhelming with spice. The California Poke Bowl was pretty ok! There were things I loved and others I didn’t. Like how there were hot and cold contrasts were odd to me. But, I’m glad I tried it.

There’s so much hype for this ramen but I didn’t see why. The little tuna tacos were beyond amazing. Giving 4 stars because: the pork was wayyy too overcooked, I prefer when the Pork is grilled or cooked differently, it was also changing the flavor of the tonkotsu broth because it was too sweet something I wasn’t expecting in my ramen. It was a very dense broth which I appreciated but not worth as a whole for 5 stars. Not pictured but we also got fried chicken which was extremely hot and burned my sisters mouth, the meat was pinkish which is NOT good for chicken. The pieces were huge, which some people might like, but by having huge pieces, the frying process doesn’t work the same way. The environment is nice, they included some shielding panels due to covid.

5 star service and the best ramen youll find. The owner checks in and is incredibly kind. The restaurant is clean and has good vibes. The broth is made with so much attention to complementing all the other ingredients in the ramen. The meat is tender and juicy and the egg was somehow gummy in a way that you could pick it up with chopsticks but it was melt in your mouth. A sincerely excellent dining experience.

My sisters first JINYA experience (had the wontons and the shrimp tempura):Ample portions. One bowl of Ramen can feed at least 2 people. Broth could have used a little more seasoning, but I also could have added garlic or other things to help with that off the a la carte menu for add ins.Shrimp tempura was good, but maybe not good for take-out. It would have been better there at the restaurant than as a carry out item.Overall great first experience!My impression:Consistent, excellent flavors and delicious Ramen. Bomb ramen.....! the fam and i came on a tuesday afternoon right before 6pm.street parking was horrible as usual only because theres other eaterys in the area like Chipotle, Renos Pizzeria and various delis, but there is a valet parking right next to it.good to hit up the Happy Hour from 3pm-7pm and take advantage of the small plates menu and mini tacos....! ramen is not on happy hour menu, lol 👍servers and staff were on point and quick! ordered for 4 and took roughly 10-15mins including apetizers. will continue to eat here, because NO RAMEN, NO LIFE....!

Food quality has gone down. However, staff is very attentive.My friend and i had their vegan option just to try. The broth was great but the noodles itself was not. They were very hard. I know ramen noodles tend to be a little thicker and chewy but the inside was hard while the outside was soft.After one bite,i asked for a new bowl and to let the noodles soften more if possible. they were kind enough to remake it. It came out pretty fast so i dont know if they actually let the noodles soften cause the noodles were still pretty hard.My friend said her noodles were soft so i picked from her bowl but I quickly lost appetite.I still took the ramen home hoping it would soften if I left it over night but when we got back, my friend and I ended up feeling very sick, possibly from the food. I ended up throwing away the leftovers.

Went in last weekend for dinner, the patio was packed so we sat at the bar, getting a front row seat to the line.That kitchen runs so well the machine continuously spits tickets out for dine in & delivery and they never lose their cool. Everyone chill, focused, on task. Quiet. Only the leads voice calling tickets out & the random question could he heard.To the ownership. Unless you make people stand out in the cold away from the fires, with plenty of seats available. The broth is amazing, and I highly recommend adding garlic.We stoped by for lunch and were really impressed with the excellent service we received from the manager Chris and our server Ivan. We had our nephew with us who has quit a few food allergies that can make dining out a little difficult. They were very patient and took time to help us put together a ramen that my nephew could enjoy, and he absolutely loved it! They checked in with us throughout our meal and were very friendly. After only coming here once, this is already one of my favorite places to get ramen at. I can with my family, & 2 of us got the Karaage Chicken Ramen. Taste-wise, the flavors are different from most ramen Ive had, bit it was still delicious. Jinya Ramen is one of the better ramen locations in the Greater Los Angeles area and quite certainly one of the best outside of Little Toyko and Sawtelle/Culver City. Burbank location opened more recently and features outdoor seating. Street parking is spotty and I couldnt tell if they have their own parking.Food is absolutely wonderful. My favorite ramen place because they have great ramen, great options for appetizers and other entrees and it feels like a neighborhoody local spot for the Burbank peeps. I go for the ChaChaCha if I feel like indulging, otherwise the Tonkutsu Black is classic. Service is always friendly and warm. Street parking can get troublesome though.

Ramen was amazing - would definitely visit again, but they forgot one item (side) in my order. Even after I reminded them about it, they didnt bring it even after I finished with my meal, so I asked them to cancel it - which they did, and didnt charge for it.

The Crispy Karaage Chicken is to die for, as is the Tonkotsu Black Ramen and the Spicy Chicken Ramen (spicy or hot level!).The Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen, the Jinya Bun, the Salmon Poké mini tacos, and the Japanese Croquette with plum sauce (available until 2/29/2020) were also highlights. The Caramelized Cauliflower is also one of our favorites, although we didnt partake this particular trip.Mike took good care of us, as always when hes there, and the kitchen were, of course, champs.

Love coming here for quick bite or dinner w/ family! My favorite ramen is Wonton Chicken Ramen & Sprouting up Ramen. When Im not in the mood for ramen, I like to get few small plates & Mio, their sparkling sake(in blue bottle). None of their locations can get the seasoned egg right. What I miss when I come to Jinya is the little bit of runny yolk you get at typical ramen shops.Flavors here are good. Rising costs has moved a lot of the typical seasonings to their add-on menu. Wa-wa. 🎺Outdoor fireplace is where its at weather and temperature permitting.Still love the JINYA bun. Always a good appetizer, but PLEASE bump up the flavor in them!!

Made us wait unnecessarily while they had empty tables and spots around the fire-bar clearly open, and repeatedly sat larger parties that showed up after my party and other waiting parties of two.It appeared as if they operated like a Hollywood nightclub, keeping people in line for thr appearance of being busy and in high demand.The fact that they had empty tables while continuing to skip over the smaller parties for bigger paydays was on some bull $#!%, so we finally left!
