JJ Noodle House is so solid. My family and I love this place so much. Excellent food and friendly customer service. Well definitely be back again soon! Its one of our regular spots in chino hills and I hope it never loses its consistency and quality.To the chefs in the back of house, keep killing it in the kitchen!! Hats off to you guys.

FlavorWe got the szechuan pork with eggplant, salt and pepper squid, young chow fried rice, spicy wontons, spicy cucumbers, and the Taiwanese vermicelli noodles. They all tasted fantastic but the one odd thing was the batter of the calamari. I was expecting something lighter, like a tempura batter, but it was more similar to breading that you might find in American foods - thicker and crunchier. The standout dish for me was the spicy wontons.ServiceYou order from your phone after scanning a QR code, which sends your order to the kitchen. Youd expect that with this process, you wouldnt be tended to, but there is actually a waitress and she was helpful in guiding us and being us water regularly.PriceI thought the food was fairly priced. We purposely ordered a diverse range of items and including the food we took home and it was about $15/mealVibesIt was a clean and cozy restaurant with comfy booth seating. One of the best hidden gems for Chinese/Taiwanese food in Chino Hills is JJ Noodle House. This has been one of our go-to spots in the Chino Hills area and it consistently hits the spot! Heres what we typically order:- Beef stew noodle soup, $17.99 with home made noodle and $19.99 with hand cut noodle (rate 5/5): this is one of the best Taiwanese beef noodle soups weve found in this area. Weve tried both types of noodle and both are great, we prefer the hand cut noodle a little bit more for the $2 extra. Order this!- Fish fillet w/ Szechuan sauce, $17.99 (rate 4.5/5): fried fish in Szechuan sauce, whats not to love? Served with wood ear mushrooms and bamboo shoots, just fyi.- Eggplant w/ basil, $14.39 (rate 4.5/5): heaping pile of eggplant sauteed with basil leaves. Delicious.- Shrimp w/ pepper salt, $17.98 (rate 4.5/5): salt and pepper shrimp, lots of onions and chopped jalapenos. Delish!- Spicy cucumber, $9.99 (rate 4/5): great appetizer dish of fresh cucumbers in spicy sauceIve also tried the Szechuan pork dry noodle with hand cut noodle ($17.99) once and that was amazing as well. One of my absolute favorite places to eat. My favorite thing to have and would recommend trying is the C1 Wontons in Hot Chili Sauce. The food is constantly good whether taking out or dining in. The service is always great as well. I would also recommend the A1 Eggplant with Basil and D1 Beef Stew Noodle Soup

We came here on early Friday evening. Food was delicious! Mongolian beef and string green beans were so flavorful! The fried crispy chicken was crunchy! The hot chili wonton and spring rolls we would skip next time because it lacked flavor. You get complimentary steamed white rice. Definitely would return! Service was good and food was fresh and hot! A must try!

Came here on Thanksgiving day for lunch, it was one of few restaurants that were open (at least one that picked up the phone).The restaurant is located in the Ranch 99 plaza, tucked in a corner. From the outside I couldnt see the JJ Noodle House sign so took a little time to figure out where it was.Anyway, we ordered the combo noodle soup, and fried fish with seaweed. Both dishes were delicious! We couldnt actually finish both dishes and took some noodles to go.Definitely a solid restaurant choice here, will come back to try something else on their extensive menu!

Wanted to try this place out since someone recommended. It is in a plaza so you can walk around and hang out. I got the spicy fried fish + sauté green beans + rice cake + spicy wontons + spicy fish. Only a few dishes come with rice. We had to order extra rice for $2. Their prices for each dish is $10+ I don’t recommend coming here if you’re hungry because you’ll end up paying way more. We ordered 6 things and it was $85. Their portions aren’t big either.. I enjoyed the sauted green beans! Flavorful and delicious! Their staffs are attentive and the food will come out fast. They will be wearing mask! Don’t come if you have a party of 10 or you’ll be separated. It’s a small place

Food remains consistently tasty, however, I ordered the bamboo with pork strips plate and the flavoring was way too strong. I felt it was loaded with MSG or some variant. The bamboo was definitely not fresh when I ate it. But the flavor completely over powered the old bamboo taste. The pork meat were cut so thin and small, there seems hardly any meat at all lol. They tried to skimp out there. I will not order this combo plate again.Pork Chop Rice is still the plate to get. Very big and tons of meat to go with it!!! Wow!!! It’s the plate I always get every time I eat here. Pork chop flavor is spot on with what a real pork chop should taste like. Chinese, American, Mexican, Australian.........it’s what a pork chop should taste like. Compliments to the chef on that one! The dual pork chops was HUGE!!!!!!!! The rice it came with is abundant and flavorful with a ground pork mix, lightly marinated. Came with preserved cabbage and marinated boiled egg. So good! Perfect blend of flavor and texture. This was a pleasant to eat and I highly recommend this dish to anyone unless you’re Muslim. lol. It’s because of the pork and this is fully loaded with it.Their spinach vegetable or “A”-spincach vegetable was stir fried to perfection. Excellent taste and light on the garlic. Just enough to give it a nice aroma and makes your mouth water at the same time. We asked for light salt because last time, they added too much. So watch for that.Spicy wonton is pretty good too. Their pork stuffing was so fresh and tasty. It tasted very very similar to the “xiao long bao” meat. Mmmm. And you know how that taste. Just excellent. Not overly spicy either despite advertising spicy. Has a little bit of a quick but the spicy flavoring is good and goes well with this dish. Don’t order this plain or not spicy. It’ll ruin the taste. I was so hungry, I did not take a picture of this lol. But it comes in a small bowl with like 6-9 of those little meat filled wontons? I think.We also ordered their eggplant dish combo. I’m a huge fan of eggplants and they’re just ok here. They added some seasoning to it that I don’t particularly like. I love the natural eggplant flavor and even with garlic added to it is fine but they added something to it that changed the flavor completely. Fortunately, I could still taste eggplants after a few bits in so I mowed it down. Luckily, I just love eating eggplants lol. But if I had to be picky about it, I would probably not order this again because of the mystery seasoning.Overall, I like coming here. There were a couple questionable plates but it won’t stop me from coming back and trying more plates. Taste overall was satisfying. They’ve always been good to me.Customer service is excellent!!! Because it’s such a small dine in area, they’re attention to you is just superb. They see everything lol. Very responsive and polite. Very customer friendly and oriented.Only thing I cringe at when I come here is hoping it’s not too packed lol. Yeah. Don’t want to come all this way just to wait 15-30 min. So far, so good. We’ve always found a seat whether it’s a tiny two person table and if we get lucky, a large booth.I highly recommend this place despite a couple of “off” tasting dishes. There’s a lot on their menu and everyone’s taste preference is different. Remember, their pork chop rice is my recommendation. Especially if you’re hungry, this will fill you up!!!Happy Eating...........................

Good choice for when you get a craving for authentic Taiwanese. The chow mein was good and did not contain an abundance of onions. We always get the seafood and tofu soup which the kids seem to like a lot. If you are a fan of orange chicken- try theirs. Word of advice, you might have to ask for water, its not something they automatically gave us and when they did it was one glass at a time. We actually had to ask for water for EACH person in our table, not just for the person who requested it at thatmoment. Also they have no dessert. Parking is also a little tight.

First time with a friend to this eatery. Small restaurant. Seat yourselves. Tables arranged for maximum use of floor space. Menu and ordering food is accessed by scanning a Q code on the table with your cellphone. Food server/Cashier friendly and helpful can assist you place your order using their app. quick and easy. Ordered veggie fried rice and sweet & sour pork ribs. Rice was ok. Ribs were small bite sized, covered with sauce, small enough to place in your mouth, needed to chew carefully to not bite into the bone, food item did have pieces of meat without the bone. Eating utensils given were chopsticks, a plastic spoon and napkin so you may eventually use your fingers to bite the meat off the ribs. Flavor of the sweet and sour sauce was neutral, didnt have the tanginess of sour.Restroom signage stated gender neutral to accommodate all who may patronize this restaurant.

Great fresh food made to order. Love this hidden little gem.10/9/22 Our last visit before moving was amazing. The young ladies attending us were so very sweet. We ordered the very memorable lemon grass spicy chicken, Sausage fried rice, pepper beef and veggie chow mein. We will miss you JJ Noodle house. The place seems rather small but the atmosphere is welcoming and warm. We were greeted by the nicest server ever. We placed our order quickly and withing minutes we had our fresh food right before us. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Edward was the one who brought us the check at the end and even gave take out menus and was friendly and approachable. I will definitely be come back here more often if I am in the area.

This was a very nice restaurant, and made ordering easy with a cell phone while sitting at your table. By viewing the menu on your phone you can see what the food is supposed to look like before you order it. Very good quality food, service was OK but not over the top, but only one person was waiting the tables and collecting payments. Definitely worth a stop if youre in the area.

We ordered the beef stew noodle soup with hand cut noodles (+$1.00) and fish with seaweed.Only drawback is they require a $30 minimum for card purchases. So make sure to take cash if youre spending less. Overall great experience and we will be coming back regularly!

The beef stew noodle soup I ordered was the closest youll ever taste to a authentic Chinese cooking. Anyone who is familiar will absolutely know the difference. My only regret is the space is too small to enjoy a nice meal, it gets crowded. The service is good. They should expand the dining area to accommodate more diners and more space to enjoy the dining experience.

I was visiting the area and craving beef Noodle soup and discovered this place. I got the beef Noodle soup with hand-cut noodles. The broth was flavorful and tasted very clean. Its not as heavy as other ones Ive had which was refreshing. The beef was extremely tender and had a melt in your mouth quality. Unfortunately the hand-cut noodles could have been better. Normally hand-cut noodles are supposed to be thick and chewy. These noodles were cut very I consistently, so sections were thick and chewy but other parts were overcooked a soft. Next time I would probably try the beef Noodle soup with regular noodles.

Food is decent for Chino Hills. The price is good also for being in Chino Hills.However, the attitude is unbelievable. I had a $12.35 lunch bill, I gave the lady $15.35. I never received my change. there was only like 3 tables of customers. I ask her for change, she look at me a said, oh, you want change? sorry I didnt look. How much did you give me?Gratuity is what the customer gives in direct appreciation of the way food tasted and the services rendered. NOT the change after my bill was paid.$3 was no big deal to me. But but if she need the money so badly that she is willing to be rude to get it, she is welcome to it.However, I will never be back again.Once bitten; twice shy.

The hand-cut chow mein noodles are so good, everyone who tried them are without words. They taste just as I thought noodles should have always tasted. There is no going back to golden noodle chow mein. The orange chicken was super over cooked to where I spit out nuggets of dried inedible chicken fibers. However, even tho one dish was entirely inedible, the hand cut noodles were so unbelievably good, I keep this place at 5 stars.

Great noodle soup. Has a lot of other options too. Like many mom and pop shop the service is only ok. But you should never expect anything more. The ladies serving were super nice but it was hard at first because they dont speak much English and I dont speak Chinese!!! I had the wonton in spicy sooup plus the house noodle....hand cuts. This is one of my go to lunch restaurants. They have a huge selection of dishes on their menu so I never get tired of going here. Their all day lunch menu cant be beat and it comes with a bowl of rice for each dish. The noodle dishes are also delicious! I usually order the Jajangmyeon noodle dish. You could also pay an extra dollar for hand cut noodles which are thicker and shorter than the regular long thin noodles. Theres also 99 ranch and ShareTea in the same plaza.
