There was a Santa Claus that came in and thanked 4 cops for their service. The cops were eating, its very safe there, I think...well it feels safe. This place is America. In every way imaginable. Corndogs are amazing. Oddly romantic dine in.

I had a chicken sandwich. It was okay. I am willing to give this place another try.7/23 update. So...... I ventured back here for a bacon cheeseburger and crinkle cut fries with chili and cheese to be specific. My burger was so delicious and fresh. It was so good. So good. Fries were crispy with lots of melted cheese and chili. Topped it off with some Tabasco because it was available. No drive-thru here. Order at counter to go or dine-in and the food is brought to you. Cool dining room. Misters going on in the outside covered area. Everything is very red for some reason. Friendly staff. Will go back for for a burger and crinkle cut fries.

I love this eatery. So many great choices. I suggest the Mac n cheese dog with a side of tots. If you arent sure what you want, their helpful staff is full of awesome suggestions. The place is super clean and customer service is stellar.

The Mexican/ Indian worker told me my online order was not ready for pick up as I walked in but he was sitting on a stool on the other side of the room and directed me to go outside immediately. He’s so lazy he didn’t even check to see if my order was ready. Thank goodness another employee was on top of it and found my order ready for pick up.

Fries were absolutely terrible. Think In-n-out fries, but 5 times as soggy, and lukewarm. Their orange float was fine, which is why this review is not 1 star. Their garlic ranch is the best of the three they offer…but I won’t be coming back

When I first found out about this place, I was super excited. The burgers, hot dogs, and desserts are still good. I love the new addition, but the quality of the food has slipped in the recent months. We used to love their mac n cheese, unfortunately now its made with nacho cheese sauce. Not a great idea. Depending, on the time of day the staff are hit or miss. If you go for lunch the staff are great. Later in the evening for dinner, when their younger crew comes in, they are not so helpful. Its understandable, high school kids need to make money too.

Very slow service. Delivered French fries that were ice cold. Then tried to deliver the same fries only re-dropped in the fryer. Not good. They may have been worse than eating the cold ones. No one came by to check. Mac and cheese was okay but not very hot. Took 20 minutes to get 3 sandwiches and 2 sides. Not worth the wait or the money.

I’m bringing custard for the fam tomorrow night for an addition to desserts.As soon as I pulled up, James seen me from inside and came out to my car with my order. He was quick, friendly and what stood out the most was his honesty! I paid him in cash and ‘thought’ I gave exact change but realized I overpaid him; only because he told me!

Great local hotdog joint serving tasty dogs and burgers. They have a lot of different combination dogs to choose from. They make everything fresh to order including the fries, onion rings, and tater tots. The corn dogs are on of my favorites. They added a large air-conditioned dine in area. Cool spot but my lady and I went through for the first time after passing it a bunch and ordered two of their concretes which is like their version of the blizzard basically and both of ours spilled everywhere all over us and our car not even two minutes after getting them. I had to walk back in with ice cream on my pants and ask for napkins since I didnt see any dispensers near their register lmao, ice cream was just okay flavor wise nothing really unique

When youre craving for some good stadium hotdogs, come here. This place has been around for awhile but I just had a chance today to try them out. Nice friendly staff and Covid19 compliant. The corn dog is my all time favorite and this one is good. The Babe Ruth hotdog with saurkraut and grilled onions just hit that sweet spot with me. Yummy! Ive been wanting to go here for such a long time and finally made it! I got the Nashville chicken sandwich in medium heat and my mom got mild. We were advised by the employee to start low since its spicy. I think the medium is as far as I can handle, but my mom could go to the hot. Not sure well ever make it to the cluckin level haha. It was really really delicious! The slaw and pickles on top were super good. We also got a side of onion rings that were cooked to perfection. I really cant wait to go back! I wanna try so many things on their menu but I dont know if I can stay away from the chicken sandwich 🤣

This place is worth checking out, but if you do take their recommendation about the heat level. I like spicy food and consider my heat tolerance level pretty high compared to most. I got the hot chicken sandwich, and it was friggin HOT. Any hotter and I could not have eaten it. It was honestly painful, but delicious. When I go back I may even get the mild. Anyway, the food is quick, quality, and reasonably priced considering inflation is off the charts.

Joe Schmoes is famous for their hot chicken sandwich and their hotdogs. I tried the chicken sandwich with medium spice and it was amazing. So tasty and fresh. Loved it! We also got the chicago dog and it looked amazing and tasted amazing! Their frosted root beer comes in iced mugs/cups and it was so refreshing and delicious! I 100% recommend this place!

One look at me one could see I don’t leave hamburgers half eaten, I did, for the first time in my life. A thin beef patty, dry, while red in the middle. The food here is a little pricey but what isn’t these days. The Nashville hot chicken sandwiches are around 9 dollars, but they are delicious. I’m going to go as far as to say it’s the best hot chicken sandwich I’ve ever had anywhere. 5 stars for the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. They are spicy, so start with the mild and work your way up based on how hot you like your food.

The main attraction are the hot dogs 🌭🌭, from the menu, or how you like them. All beef dogs available. Other items available such as hamburgers, pastrami sandwiches, beef dips, frozen custard, beer/wine. Very good onion rings and crinkle fries. A little pricy, but have childs menu. Order at counter and food brought to you. Many TV screens. Indoor and enclosed patio dining. Small irritation -- the self serve ice machine seems to be out-of-order a lot. Big irritation -- the regular fries are horrid, so bad, in fact, that this rating has been reduced to four stars.

The first time I came here I tried their southern fried chicken. One thing i dislike with many Nashville hot places is that they hide their bad chicken with the intense spice. So I ordered their southern fried because it is the same chicken but without the spice so I can assess how they cook their chicken.Pleasantly surprised. T he chicken is juicy and not overcooked.Safe to say my next return I am confident to order their Nashville hots without having to worry about bad chickenRecommended the place to my co-workers and they are equally hookedCome here for the chicken. Very tasty. Bacon cheese burger with avocado with fries is my favorite. Their gourmet dogs are full of flavor. I look forward to coming here every time Im in Los Al. This was the first time that I have visited this establishment. The place was super friendly, the place was very clean with plenty of seating. I enjoyed the French Dip sandwich, plus the tater tots I ordered. They have plenty of TV screens able to play any games for the sports enthusiast. With a selection of beers and the popular soda and juices or teas to choose from, this restaurant seems to be the ideal spot for a meal day or night. I enter the location near closing time but unlike most fast food restaurants, I wasnt rushed or nor did I feel that they were even trying to make me leave. FINALLY, an establishment that believes in customer service. The only reason for the 4 instead of a 5 was two fold. First my order was fairly simplistic so fairly difficult to get my order wrong or make the meal tasteless. The second reason was I took the meal to go and was not able to rate the service.

This is literally the greatest restaurant on the entire planet. Gordon Ramsay himself is in shambles and shakes and cries in his boots when he hears the name Joe Schmoes. If you wish to have the most delightful meal you have ever indulged yourself in, look no further. Go to Joe Schmoes for the best experience you have ever had in your entire lifetime. I was treated to a 20-course chefs choice meal and it was beyond delightful. My favorite foods within this 20-course meal were of course, the filet mignon (medium rare, crispy and cooked and seasoned to perfection), the lobster (buttery, also perfectly cooked), calamari (the lime and marinara sauce were incredible with it), foie gras (so buttery and delicious, absolutely the taste of the upper-echelon), and my favorite by far was the caviar (best caviar in my lifetime at joe schmoes). The staff are friendly and they all told me how cute I looked which made me blush just a slight bit. I even got to meet chef Joe Schmoe himself and he greeted me with a big smooch which made me feel special. He was a very handsome man and made me feel very safe as he held me with his big strong hands. He then hand-fed me his delicious food and then helped me swallow it down with a big swig of his yummy milk. Joe Schmoe was even kind enough to give me a nice back massage and finished it off with a happy ending. Highly recommend this place! 10/10

First time coming here, was enjoyable. I liked that they only allow one party at a time to order. The chicken was just the right heat(I chose hot). Just watch out if you arent used to heat, start at mild or even medium if you can handle spicier, I believe mild is a tiny kick, medium is habanero, hot is ghost pepper and the hottest item is Carolina reaper, so watch yourself.

I went with the Nashville hot chicken, 1 level below the hottest. Im happy to say that it actually had some kick to it, maybe more than I needed. So often spicy chicken is just mediocre, but this was spicy. My wife made the mistake of trying 1 very tiny crumb of the skin, and instantly regretted. I probably could step down a heat level, but Im still alive to tell the tale.Oh, the rootbeer is great. Some of the best tasting.

Hands down some of the best dogs around. My daughter who normally will not eat a hot dog...loves these dogs. The service is always friendly, and wait times are what you would expect depending on the crowd, but have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for our food to be brought out. Portions are good sized so come with an appetite. Usually spend about $10 a person with dogs, drinks and fries.

Hadnt been here since they first opened up, when i used to live in cypress. Been wanting to stop by for years, but never got the chance to be in the area. Food was good. Ashley had me pretty close to walking out. Incredibly standoffish, short, and unwelcoming. I let her know its been about 7-8 years since my last visit. Instead of updating me on the menu, she left me to figure it out. As i began to fill out my order, she didnt seem very knowledgeable over which condiments went well with the specialty dog, didnt care to let me know what they even had to offer and didnt ask what kind of dog Id prefer. As i was ordering the hot chicken, she didnt know what was in the dry rub, except for the one that she had to look at the menu for(cluckin hot) has ghost peppers in it and to top it off, she kept checking her watch as Im filling out my order. Clearly, she doesnt eat the food here. Sorry i bothered. Will happily not be back for another 7-8 years.

Good to know what you want before entering, its a pretty neat place, little hot, I felt a little rushed when debating what to get. They got quite the menu. My wife ordered a Texas Chili dog no fried jalapenos and they didnt add chili. Not a place Ill travel to eat but would swing by if Im around. Prices are ok, youre looking at about $5.50-$7.00 per dog. They also use like a brioche buns which im not s big fan of with hotdogs.

Was a great place more burgers but after trying every single item on the menu, its not as amazing as some people might say. I do have a favorite tho. The Bacon Avocado Cheese burger is great! The corn dogs are too much corn, not enough dog. Other burgers were a bit too oily. But dont take my word for it. Definitely give them a try. The customer service is great! Just dont sleep with one of the employees. My roommate learned that the hard way haha TMI.

Joe schmoes has a fun rock and roll atmosphere with music and memorabilia. There are several TVs playing different channels located all around the dining area. There is a nice selection of quality beers on tap. I had the chili cheese dog with onions and I went with the hotdog with a natural casing. It had a juicy snap to the bite and the chili was meaty and they were able to pour good amount into the large soft bun. I wanted to try the frozen custard, but it was too early in the day. Next time I come back I would probably try the Babe Ruth dog with grilled onions and sauerkraut and maybe Ill get a chance to try the frozen custard

It was a clean, well lit, and their mint cookies and cream shake is delicious! I could not take a picture because I had already devoured it before I thought to take a picture. There are private bathrooms for the guys and multiple flat screens that show multiple basketball games. The staff was friendly and helpful. Chili cheese fries had chunks of ground beef that looked and tasted like ground beef smothered in cheese. It was also very scrumptious. I’d recommend this place for a quick bite or to watch the game in a fun atmosphere.

My review for this place is -10 stars. I will never eat here again. Every time I order fries, tots, or onion rings they are cold to the touch, they taste like burnt old grease. Also when I order the burger it is not all the way done. They also want $6 dollars for a hot dog when I can buy 16 hotdogs at the store for that price. There is also flies there all the time getting in your food. This place needs to be shut down.

The manager / general manager Megan is incredibly rude our order was messed up we came back the next day to get it replaced and were told that only half of it was going to be replaced. Instead of doing the right thing and making the customer happy she decided to be cheap over a $6 sandwich and then she was incredibly rude following up. Its a great place in Cypress to come, have a bite to eat and watch a game. The atmosphere is very laid back and inviting. Its a great place to bring a large group of family or friends. The French fries and onion rings are pretty whatever, and I dont know why you would want to order a hamburger here. The hot dogs are the absolute stars of the show. Only real gripe is there isnt one closer to my house.Its tough to find a legit hot dog place that serves well made, delicious food. Wienerschnitzel is an absolute travesty and Portillos is expensive and way overhyped. Do yourself a favor and give this place a go. You wont be disappointed. Before you go, take a look at their online secret menu. We got the Irish Nacho dog, the Corny Mac n cheese, and a corny cheddar jalapeño dog. They also have poutine, which was a terrific surprise. All the dogs were fantastic, the gravy on the poutine was to due for, and the staff was incredibly nice.I had the Nashville hot sliders with mild spice. I have been coming here since Joes opened. I love trying all the random specials that they come up with, but one of my favorite meals here is a large order of chili cheese tater tots with spicy chili. It isnt super spicy, but it has a nice heat to it, not to mention the price quantity ratio is great. Other favorites here include the pastrami Ruben dog (sometimes it is off menu), the LA Street dog, and their fresh corn dogs. The addition that pushes into the next door building is a welcome change, as seating at Joes was somewhat limited and it can get pretty crowded. Every one I have brought over to Joes has loved it, and most people I know love the fact that you can get tater tots instead of fries. This is one of my to-go to locations, and often times I have to stop myself from going there, as I have a bad habit of having Joes multiple times in a week.

My in-laws live within walking distance and the food is cheap, so we eat here a lot. If Im trying to eat healthy, I get a grilled chicken hamburger, but I order it wrapped in lettuce. Its pretty good, the chicken has a nice salt and pepper flavoring and the texture of the chicken is good. If Im not eating healthy, I order chicken strips, which are just okay. The breading on the chicken strips isnt my favorite, but theyre decent. The fries are decent, the spices they on them are good, but the fries are often a bit too squishy for me to love them. My favorite thing here are the tator tots. Theyre always crispy and amazing. They also have frozen custard, which is delicious - I highly recommend the concrete with Butterfinger. They expanded not too long ago so they have more seating. There are TVs all over with sports on, so if youre into that, this is the place for you. My husband loves the hot dogs with Mac and cheese and bacon. Ive eaten some of the Mac and cheese, and it is also delicious. One last note is that they have the really good ice in their soda machine that I can munch on before the food comes out

I hate to say it, this is the only way I can get the point across. This marks 2 times in a row where the item I ordered had one of the ingredients out of stock.. Under most situations I am fine with this... Lets be honest here, how do you run out of cream cheese? We are talking about a product that keeps refrigerated for months on end and is typically in block form, making storage of such relatively easy. I mean the chances of wasting a large amount is near zero. Based on how busy this place is, I would have to assume that money is flowing in the green. The food is generally good, but I feel like I am being lied to when they tell me they ran out of cream cheese. If you no longer want to carry a menu item, remove it from your menu. Pretty simple if you ask me. This calls into question how management actually operates. Further forces me question wether this establishment is worthy of our patronage.

Hot chicken sandwich is insane, the hottest sauce is not to be trifled with. Root beer floats and PBR on draft. Tater tots with cheese sauce and crinkle cut fries. What more could you ask for?

Good hotdogs and cool vibe. A good place to watch sports. Lots of tvs and ice cold beer. The chili cheese fries are a must. They also have sundaes.

Frozen custard, beers on tap and bologne sandwiches. The list goes on. Definetly worth the experience. And it made for one happy girlfriend on her birthday!
