Came here with a few family members, our group had 5 people and we all did the AYCE option. It was well worth the price tag. There are are many options to eat and a multitude of flavors to get your hands on. The Michell was the crowd favorite of the night. The atmosphere inside is as a general locale nothing too fancy or over the top. The bar area has a few t.v.s if u want to catch some sports etc. The highlight of the night was no doubt the chef who did a great job with the rolls not putting to much rice but emphasizing the plating styles. Best experience I have had at an ayce spot in a VERY LONG TIME.
Decent sushi joint. A few combos are available but the menu primarily à la carte or all you can eat. Service was pretty good but one appetizer was served halfway through our meal.

I like this sushi restaurant, the all you can eat includes a lot of options and the rolls are good. Fish portions are great sized. Very reasonable prices compared to competitors in the area.
Service was mediocre during a busy time. We didnt have the sushi, but the basics felt rushed and sub-par. I wanted to order additional items but was ignored. This was our second time there and the experience has been consistent.
We used to go tk Sake 2 Me for the best AYCE sushi but this place pretty much beats it. The place is super clean, fresh, good quality fish and good people. Would definitely recommend Joes sushi Stanton!
We usually go here for lunch. You cant beat the bento box special which includes miso soup, salad, egg roll, and two items for about $10. They also have AYCE sushi which I think more than a lunch hour for. Usually the service is good but last time we went they took forever to get my coworkers food. I mean forever. They should have compensated him for the meal but they didnt. For that reason, Im dropping a star but overall its a good lunch spot.
We got the all you can eat and every 8 rolls you dont finish is $24 so make sure you dont order too much because if you do they will bring it out all quick without time to cancel the orders you dont need.
The sushi is ok not terrible nothing to brag about. The size is a bit small not tiny but kinda small. The owner (who is also the sushi cheff) seemed very curt to the point of rudness & i wasnt complaining i was just making conversion while he was standing there doing nothing. The strange thing is i saw him previously talking to other Japanese men & he was all smilles & laughter. Im pretty sure he is a hard core racist because many othet people have complained about this & they all share 1 thing. Guess what it is? Yep your right! They where not Japanese. Now the beef i ordered was terrible absolute trash i wouldnt feed it to my dog. There where 7 chunks of bone. About 30% sollid gristle& the 65% of meet was as tasty as a shoe & just as soft. This area has tons of japanese restaurants another 1 right in the same parking lot even calles sky sushi wich is always packed. I guess theres a reason this place is always dead.
This place is amazing!! Friendly workers and very great food. I will recommend it to anyone that loves sushi and miso soup. I will definitely be back!!
We found this place via an advertisement in a local magazine announcing the grand opening of Hikari Sushi 2. What caught the wifes eye: all-you-can-eat sushi.Ill acknowledge that no restaurant is going to serve their best food with an all-you-can-eat deal. When dealing with sushi, Im really looking for the food to be better than Todai.And it was, if only because it was more inventive than the sushi fare Todai puts out. Lots of rolls with spicy tuna, or laden with sauces to cover up the inferior cuts and quality.I had the Stanton Roll, made fairly bland with the avocado wrapped around the soy paper and whatever that light orange mayo sauce is, and the yellowtail delight, which tasted nothing like yellowtail due to the spicy tuna inside the roll and the dab of Sriracha sauce holding the jalapeno pepper slice atop it.The wife had a House Roll, made with salmon on the outside and a salty crab meat mixture on the inside. The salmon had a bone in it, which should never happen.Never.We split a sashimi salad - a small pile of lettuce with minnow- sized chunks of sashimi. My sister just wanted the sashimi salad by itself - no all-you-can-eat for her. That was well-done and well-presented.Because my sister was not eating from the all - you - can - eat menu, our visit was made a bit uncomfortable by the restaurant staff who continually policed us to make sure we werent sharing our rolls with her. I get it. Poaching from a table-mates all-you-can-eat menu cuts into the restaurants bottom line. The constant supervision was still unpleasant.The least they could have done was pretend to be cleaning out plates and ensuring the tea was always full.On a humorous note: the restaurant advertised pomegranate sake, which sounded interesting - until I found it during on a counter next to the cashier in one of those iced - tea dispensers. No thanks.
This sushi place is great for taking your friends. The sushi has a variety of flavors and options. In addition, it offers a bar and televisions to watch sports. The service was slow moving, however, and the Miso soup costs money (other places you can get it for free).
Great customer service incredible sushi. The owner is very nice and interacts with the customers. Out of all the sushi joints Ive been to this is my top one to go to.
Sushi was good but they rushed us out on a Saturday afternoon so they could shut down for a 2 hour lunch? Menu was set up weird the all you can eat had alot of limits.

Normally dont leave reveiws but this place was absolutely amazing. Very clean, great service, and some of the best sushi ive ever had. The hawallian rolls were amazing and our waitress kelly was very nice.
By far the WORST sushi I have ever eaten, dont get me started on the service. Our sushi was sitting there for about 15 mins before it got to our table. Usually Im not one to complain but I couldnt stand for it. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Sushi was good for an AYCE. It is the standard ~$20 per person. Not a long wait fo the sushi, good diversity of types, fish was decent.
Found this place when our go to was closed. We had the all you can eat the sushi was fresh and delicious. We highly recommend Hikari Sushi 2.

2016-07-26 04:44:17Amazing sushi place! I eat sushi 3 to 4 times a week, from LA to San Diego. This is my #1 favorite place. I had the salmon sashimi. It was the freshest Ive ever had! Plus, the most! Seriously about 1/2 pound of salmon. $13.95! Im going to go here forever. :)

2019-04-21 18:16:19Place is clean and the sushi is good but when I got the bill and did the sales tax calculation it adds up to 16% of the bill. The sushi is listed at 50% off, even on the menu, so all I can figure is they calculate it off the full price of the sushi you order. They have an all you can eat menu which seems a little confusing as it is tiered depending on what you order. I think this is under new owners as much of the staff has changed. Still not a bad place to eat.

The California rolls are the freshest and best I have ever had, so moist,not those hard as a rock ones you buy from the store. There is seating right at the front so you can watch the chef make everything fresh when ordered too. Lots of parking right out front. Great place to go A+Update: This location has closed permanently. I am so sad. 😥

2017-04-19 03:25:12I just hopped on the air based on the reviews. There are many places very very very local to this place. It is not fine dining by any means but the food was really good, service was fast and the sushi was very enjoyable. Everything tasted fresh, I had a few sashimi and enjoyed them all. If you do the all you can eat just remember that they are full rolls, how many can one person eat, but if you combine sashimi and other less filling items it is a great deal. I only had 2 rolls though but still worth it especially with the soup also. Enjoy going here.

Also, the portion of the rice is just appropriate. It gives you a luxury to enjoy the taste of fish at all you can eat sushi place.

At least 2 of the chefs are the same, and there are actually more menu options.I wish they always had quail egg shooters all the time, but I know its a somewhat odd request. But overall I feel that this place is a slight upgrade over the old place.Raw shrimp is always on point! Main reason I always come back!

Though the choices were mostly american rolls, they do serve some real japanese sushi and sashimi, which I love. The staff and chefs are friendly and amazing, giving you your sushi at lightspeed. The raw fish is very safe because they are clean and given care of. All the other rolls are absolutely amazing to the core. Their side dishes and salads also boast the deliciousness of (maybe) true Japanese food. Once again, I recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is looking either for a quick eat or a party.
