This place is a hidden gem.Efficient, friendly, and fantastic service.Our rolls came out within 5 minutes of ordering. They were flavorful, seasoned well, and plated with precision.This is a great place to come for a date, a friendly gathering or even to host out of town guests!

I love this spot and have been here many times with friends though it gets really crowded, I went with my partner on Friday night for dinner and they were so full they really couldnt take us which was unfortunate so we ended up going to Ozen sushi which is open till midnight instead.

I usually love this place however not anymore. Went last night and found a bug on my food and when I told the waiter he didnt say anything at first just takes the bug off the plate and leaves comes back and tell me we can take a drink. We only had one drink with the order. Never apologized or even acknowledged the situation.Very disappointed been coming for years.

Our go to place for Sushi! Outside its a little sketchy looking but inside is aauthentic. They have all-you-can-eat which is great! For lunch we try to make it in for their happy hour buy one get one free sushi rolls!

Joes Sushi is amazing. This has been my familys go to spot for years and I always recommend it to other people. The food is awesome and we always get the all you can eat! Service is always friendly and quick. It can get busy during dinner time but its worth the wait. The place can cater to big groups as well. Children are welcome and they have seating available for toddlers. The price for 2 all you can eat was $60 during dinner time. But if you do the math for each roll and depending how much you eat, it can be totally worth the price because you get more.

The service is getting better but still lacks a little bit of personality.you cannot beat the happy hour special during the week Monday through Friday between 2 and 4 buy one get one free. The all-you-can-eat deal is definitely worth it if youre hungry and can pack away at least three roles. It pays for itself. but you pay the price when you go to put those pants on the next day and they just dont seem to fit the same :-) time to hit the gym again

I always enjoy Joes, I love how private it is, no huge windows. The waiters are always nice and on top of everything. The food.. well thats on a while other level. The sushi is incredible, my favorites include the naked mussels, Mr mango roll and the snow White roll. I highly recommend their all you can eat special. Its great good at a great price at a really nice place!!

Sushi was needing a bit more. They did not have any sweet and sour for the egg rolls. The sushi rolls were bland and I felt like the staff was rushing us out after paying for all you can eat and all you can drink. The waiter questioned us twice about being able to finish our drinks the last 2 pitchers we ordered. After we paid, we asked for one more pitcher, and they tried to charge for it. Hello..? We paid for all you can drink... and again we were questioned about whether or not we would finish it. Yes..! Ofcourse we can finish beer... wouldnt go again.

The Waiters are very rude, will over charge you for anything, my child drop a few sushi on the floor i picked it up and put it on a napkin and one of the waiters says to me that I have to finish or Ill get charge, I explain that my child drop it on accident and he said to me sorry you cant be doing that .. this not the first that I experience a bad visit with them, last time it was busy that the waiter would come and like toss your plate because she was in a rush. I would never eat here no more .food is okay, service is terrible !!!.

Food was really good! We ordered a CA roll, Udon soup that came with a 4-pc spicy tuna roll; shrimp tempura and calamari. Prices are reasonable. The only problem was when you first walk in the door there is a bad fishy odor and I lost my appetite for sushi. I wanted to throw up. Thats why I just ordered soup.

This place is okay. The last time I went we didnt go in because we noticed they now have a B rating. The times I have eaten there the sushi has been good and Ive never gotten sick but the service could be better. However with the B rating, we personally didnt want to risk ourselves being that raw fish is involved.

Great sushi for the price. The rolls are not loaded with rice. The fish is fresh and taste good. The all you can eat option is great is you have a decent appetite. You can only order food 3 times. You can order as much as you want every round, just make sure you finish it all.

I used to frequent this place and enjoy it. However over the course of a weekend I and a group of my friends all got bad food poisoning from improperly stored oysters. When we tried to warn them, not get a refund, but just warn them about it, they instead were incredibly rude and dismissive. Never went back since. If you want to eat there go ahead but DO NOT get oysters.

Love this restaurant. My first time here and definitely won’t be my last. Customer service is amazing as soon as you walk in Everyone welcomes you including the chefs. Food is Delicious. Don’t be intimidated by the outside of the restaurant the inside is very clean with nice decor. They have All you can eat sushi as well as all you can drink draft and saki.

Im here now with my family. 7 total. Arrived here at 6:15pm or so. It is 7:55pm now and we have only been served one round of all you can eat when we had our order ready within the first five minutes of arriving. We have our sheet ready for our second round, and the waiter is running around and socializing at all the tables but ours. The sushi bar is filled with orders ready to go out but this guy is just not serving them or taking our order. Absolutely rediculous!!!

I trusted friends and the review of a fellow local guide and I was not disappointed. Excellent, fresh all you can eat Sushi. Everything we tasted was amazing. Eel, one of my all time favorites is on the menu in different variations, and all are convincingly excellent. And so is everything else I tasted. The service is very friendly, helpful and attentive. I can highly recommend this restaurant. Ill be back soon!

Ive been here twice and have loved it each time, feom the service to the food! The ambience is quite awesome, too; very unique! Now Joes is not around the corner from my family and I. We have to travel for about 30-40 mins to get here which is worth it every single time! Our local AYCE sushi spot just switched owners and their service went completely down the toilet ESPECIALLY during lunch when theres not even half of the restaurant filled! So, Joes it is and will always be! 5 stars from me and customers for life, as long as they dont sell out! 😉

First - I just left this place and in Google Maps is shows as “very busy” and it wasn’t really busy but they sure didn’t take forever to bring out our appetizers. We got out sushi rolls before our appetizers and we order appetizers 15 mins before. $28 ($27.50 I think) for all you can eat seems a bit way too much for the actual selection - not to mention the 14 commandments they have for their “All you can Eat” policy but yet they couldn’t write down the damn price per person anywhere in the menu. My Gf pick this place cause she hear good things about it but not sure from whom..Definitely not worth the 30 mins drive. Gf is no longer allowed to pick a place to eat for 1 month. Even she agreed our service was mediocre at best.

Pretty low-key spot for sushi, but that doesnt make it bad. I really enjoy coming here for sushi, as it is one of my top choices when Im feeling some AYCE sushi. Their selection is pretty big, and the taste is great.There have been a FEW times where we had issues with service, but they either corrected it by sending something back or giving us a small discount.

The service was really bad. Asked for extra napkins and they brought me only one. Waiters never really checked up on us after they brought food. Was trying to talk to a guy at the front desk and didn’t even acknowledge I was talking to him and all I did was thank him for the good food (which was good. Dragon roll I think it’s called was bomb). Just the service and people weren’t good at all probably won’t come back.

Sushi I love it- that was 9m ago- i havent been here for 9m and I went in with my family of 3 my 2 yr old started to cry when her dad went to the bath room, we had the all u can sushi they took long to pick up our 2 order by that time my daughter was stressing we just paid and left,. I couldnt help but really got bothered that they charged us $68 why all u can eat is.... And I had water.. only for 2 of us that ate only one round, never again how they took advantage it wasnt even worth that much and my daughter didnt even eat. At least lets us pay what we ate. Sad part is that we live right across from it with all those employees smoking in front of our house cus they have a sign at the door no smoking. This is my 2nd review

Its been a couple to a few years since I have been back and this place has changed. For the worse, I am afraid. Definitely under staffed. The two servers were nice enough, but with 20 tables and only 2 servers, I ended up having to wait long for just to get someones attention. Also, although its AYCE, waiting around in between dishes means you will very much be full by 2nd round. The fish is not as fresh as I remembered them to be... The rolls were big with lots of rice (fillers). The hand-rolls were the definitely not worth ordering; they looked boring and were without much texture. For $26.00/person on the weekend price, I expected a bit more even if not a lot. They were so understaffed that they were messing up on peoples orders. I feel bad for the servers, but its not their fault. They were nice, regardless, even with being stressed. The review is mainly for the food itself and the process. A bit disappointed.

I know the Sushi is good. But on this particular visit the place was incredibly understaffed, and wait times to get served after sitting were so long my friend and I just left after a half hour. All the while people continued to pour in. The food is great but they need to step up their staffing systems or just raise the prices. And you should call ahead!

The price varies between 18-28$ for buffet depending if you go for lunch or dinner and what options you choose. If you are a sushi fan or a rookie this is a great place to try a good variety of new or old school sushi dishes. Highly recommend.

Great place to have AYCE Sushi. Very good quality selection of sushi. They are fresh, good quality. They do have variety of sushi rolls. Unlike some AYCE Sushi joints, this place do not have a time limit and you can order as many as you can eat/finish. The service staff are friendly and attentive.25 May 2019Went today for dinner. All you can eat for 30$!! This is the freshest sashimi in town. Excellent service to boot. You can order as many rolls as you can eat, as much sashimi as you want. In addition to teriyaki chicken, miso soup, etc. Awesome staff. Try this place out. Go for the all you can eat deal. Youd easily spend 30 bucks anywhere else ordering 1 order of rolls and 2 sides of sashimi. The sashimi has no fish smell, it is definitely fresh. If I didnt pay for all you can eat, my bill each time would be 150-200 easy for everything I order. Stay away from any rolls with crab. Its always fake crab in southern california. Stick to sashimi or tuna rolls to get your moneys worth. Dont listen to bitter customers who dont know what the F theyre even eating in the first place and want to jump online and criticize a restaurant because they werent catered to as if they in Beverly hills. Youre in lakewood. Calm the fudge down pre madonnas.

My wife and I have been coming here for 4 yrs now and have yet to be disappointed. All you can eat sushi and kitchen items for under $30 a person. Cant beat that. The restuarant is small and the parking is hit or miss but the food will keep you coming back for more.

Food was OK, but its expensive to eat sushi considering its 90% imitation crab. Service was good, the waiting time for a table varies depending on the day you go if you try Friday nights through the weekend youre probably looking at a 20 minute wait time. This place is located in a trip mall and its kinda hard to find unless you look up the address, there is a sign in the front, but its a little small. If you dont care or you like imitation crab meat and an ice cold beer this place is one to check out.

Best AYCE sushi place in Orange County! Fresh salmon, very little rice, and nice and quick service. Cant ask for a better option. I went to Japan recently and compared to their fishes over there, Joe come in at a very close second. Most of the time when I go out for AYCE sushi, I usually end up with a bad tummy ache. This, however, never deter me from eating raw fish though. But no bad bowel movement at Joe!

Everything is awesome except one of the sushi chefs coughs, sneezes, and blows his nose continuously without covering up or washing. I am seriously reconsidering if I will go there anymore. Joes is known for its all you can eat lunch and dinner, nicely priced at $28 for dinner you get through rounds to pound through as much sushi as youd like, including hand and cut rolls, sashimi, sushi, appetizers like tempura, calamari, teriyaki, edamame, etc, and special house sushi rolls. The service is impersonal and quick, they do get busy and have a large dining area. Joe likes to challenge his servers so your refill could take a bit but it will come. The korean pop music pumping through the speakers lets you know Joes is a korean operation, but they do a fine job at serving flavorful sushi. Make sure to ask which rolls some with the mustard sauce or vinaigrette drizzled on top as this can be overwhelming and better on the side. For the price and generous portions, 5 out of 5 stars.

The Hot & Hot had a nice ratio of rice to stuffing.Spicy Rainbow roll-Spicy tuna & cucumber on the inside, with slices of 4 assorted fish & avocado on the outside. Rainbow rolls are usually my go-to at most places, and the spicy rainbow at Joes held its on. Slather on the wasabi, a quick bath of soy sauce & it was on!Mr. Mango roll-Cream cheese & mango on the inside, salmon & avocado on the outside. I ordered this based on the recommendations of others, and I didnt care very much for it. Why? The cream cheese. For me, cream cheese just doesnt pair well with sushi. I did enjoy the brightness of mango slices, but I wouldnt order this again.Complimentary plates of salmon were brought out to our table to our delight!Fried, battered bits of salmon fin were oily & delicious. All those Omega-3s are both healthy & yummy!To end our meal, complimentary green tea ice cream left us smiling & happy.Birthday celebrants can spin the wheel for a prize! Our birthday girl won free soju! Cheers!Ample seating, with tables, booths & teppanyaki seating that can accommodate parties, large & small.Service was good, handling our rowdy group without batting an eyelash. Im talking the good stuff - organic sake.Parking is via a private lot in the back & street parking in all directions.I left stuffed & unable to look at sushi again for a long while. Joes Sushi, while not the highest quality sushi out there, proved to be a great local option for when the sushi hunger pangs rear their ugly head.
