Great place for a lovely meal. Food is delicious and lots of options so everyone can find what they love. The Korean cauliflower, gyoza, steak, cauliflower tacos are my favorite. For drinks the Joey 75 is the best. The servers are always super friendly and the food and drinks come quick. For Saturday brunch I rarely encounter a wait. But reservations are possible so I would try to get that if I plan ahead. This is one of my top restaurants in fashion island. The motel chocolate cake is also amazing. Outdoor seating is lovely in the nice weather and inside has a nice atmosphere.

JOEY Newport Beach is a great splurge if you really want to ball and aren’t on a budget. They welcome you with complimentary sparkling wine when you walk in and seem to only staff with attractive people. They are very conscientious about their aesthetics and both their inside and outside seating is modern and chic.Parking can be a mess but they do have valet, which makes it easier if you are willing to pay for the convenience.All things aside, their food is the standout for me. It is absolutely wonderful and they do offer a good variety for whatever you feel like on the day. Most places that have so many varieties of cuisine are jack-of-all-trades but master of none, which is where JOEY stands out. They make quite a few incredible dishes like their steak, sushi, and ravioli, which are my top recommendations.

Enjoyed lunch at this restaurant with my girlfriend. Food was delicious, service was great, atmosphere is lively and modern relaxed vibe. I ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl, which was so tasty with delicious local ingredients. Wanted more. My girlfriend ordered the Mediterranean Bowl which was a lovely tasty dish. Definitely would come back to try the other array of dishes.Came again for dinner and my husband enjoyed the Joey Classic Steak that was prepared perfectly. It was served with potatoes that was rolled up like an egg roll with roasted asparagus. My husband would definitely order this dish again. I ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl again which is my favorite. Cant go wrong with this dish. Lots of fresh flavors. We also ordered the warm chocolate cake that melted in your mouth with delicious vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce - delectable. My husband liked the ambiance and variety on the menu.

Had the Butter Chicken dish, it was really tasty! Viktoria, our server is first class! Cant wait to go back and try their steaks! Has the steak and raviolis starter dish that was a slice of heaven, went back enjoyed the sirloin & ravioli and the butter cake and both are amazing!!!!!!

Very nice Joeys place but not at same level of the one in Vancouver and Kelowna Canada. Nice open concept modern restaurant and bar. Good drinks but not excellent for price paid. Different take on food, that is very personal someone would like them and somebody else might dont. We had mixed opinions.

Absolutely love going to Joey! Service is always Amazing! Food is phenomenal! I recommend trying the sushi and steak, the sliders, and the wings! Definitely my go to and all are shareable plates! Great for networking, date nights, and out with friends! Highly recommend going there and make sure you reserve as they get very busy on evenings! Ambiance is on point, tastefully designed!

One of my new favorite restaurants. The ambiance was relaxed, cool, and classy. I was there during Hurricane Hillary and enjoyed watching the palm trees blow outside through the windows around the restaurant. The food was excellent, the margarita was an experience, and the staff was delightful.

We came here without a reservation- there was a one hour wait time. We walked and found seating at the bar. The vibe is s imilar to A’s Restaurant in OC - definitely a pick up spot. But the food is mediocre at best.Best food is the hummus. But the steak in all we ate was cold. Everything was cold - even my steak and pasta.Here’s the breakdown:Steak and sushi: 3/10Steak ravioli: 3/10Hummus and pita chips: 8/10Atmosphere: 8/10Would I go back? Maybe, for the vibe not the food.Also I’ve been to the Joey’s in Woodland Hills. Their menu is quite bizarre but this Joey’s has a better vibe.

Great atmosphere for lunch. The hummus appetizer was very good. The seared salmon sushi and steak was fantastic. The ponzu sauce with the steak was a perfect pairing. And their Italian donuts were light and fluffy, and the lemon creme was just the right amount of sweet.

This evening, we decided to try Joey at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. We parked the car via valet and met a wonderful hostess who was friendly, informative, and efficient. I had reservations for 5:30 pm. We were seated promptly, and let me tell you, this place is happening! The environment is positive and open, which is quite attractive. Our server extraordinare, Abdul, was nothing short of stellar. Abdul had a wonderful, friendly personality while maintaining professionalism and sharing his menu knowledgeable. Based on his recommendation we ordered the hummus and veggie plate which was splendid and we complimented the appetizer with Patron Silver with club soda, three limes muddled with mint on ice and I had the classic Don Julio 1942 chilled neat over a large ice cube. What a wonderful way to start the dining experience. Once we finished the appetizer, we ordered our main courses. Abdul timed everything perfectly, and my wife had the Chilean Sea Bass entree and I had the classic filet mignon and lobster. The chef presented both entrees quite nicely. The flavor, preparation, and dishes were spectacular. The customer service is top notch and the vibe enjoyable.Thanks so much for a wonderful dining experience, and we will surely be back.Highly recommended!
