2023-01-15 21:04:33Delicious food with attentive service. Prices were on the high end of reasonable, the food was delicious everything was really well prepared with quality ingredients and a good amount of spice. I had the salt and pepper shrimp with rice bowl, and a side of the pork chop and a side of the Taiwanese sausage, and to drink a green tea with peach flavoring. Really like that everything was well spiced, spicy but not crazy. The rice was super delicious, really loved the texture with just the right amount of onions and peppers mixed in. Chili oil was quality. Well definitely be back really enjoyed the food

2024-01-11 21:38:35I felt very disappointed. I came here because I missed the food from my hometown, but the rice I had was cold and hard. The rice was definitely the soul. The chicken cutlets were very small and different from the photos shown. The spring rolls and milk tea are pretty good. Anyway I wont come again!🙁

2023-04-13 04:53:31Honestly, the food was okay at best. The pork chop over rice was the best part. I ordered the soup dumplings which took 15 min to make and still didnt taste that good. The beef noodle was fine and the chicken jojo bao was also not bad. I would have tried one of the other great looking restaurants in the food hall for the money.

2021-08-05 17:30:13Located in Haven City Market, this restaurant is the definitely the place to be. Haven City Market is a venue filled with vendors serving global bites, boba, coffee, desserts, and more. While you’re here, you MUST check out Jojo’s Kitchen! They serve all your favorite Taiwanese comfort foods such as beef noodle soup, mapo tofu, and Taiwanese sausage. They have both big and small eats so whether you’re looking for a full meal or just a snack, Jojo’s has you covered.FOOD:What I Ordered: Popcorn Chicken (Large), Braised Pork Belly over Rice, Lychee Green TeaPopcorn Chicken: First things first, these portions are insanely. The large popcorn chicken was packed to the brim with delicious, golden chicken. Definitely more than enough to share with an entire family. The popcorn chicken was perfectly crispy, well seasoned, and juicy. It wasn’t too flavorful or greasy. It also came with sweet chili sauce that was the perfect complement!Braised Pork Belly Rice: For the braised pork belly dish, I could choose a base of either rice, noodles, or noodle soup. I chose to go with rice because braised pork belly rice is one of my all time favorite foods. The braised pork belly rice was absolute perfection and everything you’d want from this dish. The pork belly pieces were fatty and meaty creating an amazing flavor explosion with every bite. The dish also comes mustard greens which provides a vinegary contrast to help cut down and balanced on the fat. My absolute favorite part about the dish is the soy sauce eggs! 😍 I can eat soy sauce eggs all day! They provide such a creamy, richness to the dish. This is a PERFECT dish in my opinion.Lychee Green Tea: To wash down everything, I got some lychee green tea. I personally love fruit teas because they are super refreshing and not too sweet. They also have other flavors such as passion fruit, mango, and yogurt. You can also choose between green and black tea as a base. This drink was so nice to have on a hot summer day like this.LOCATION:I love that this stall is located in a food hall because it really adds to the ambiance. The whole market feels super lively and fun. There is plenty of indoor seating but also a beautiful outdoor seating area that is definitely worth checking out. There is also decent amount of parking available in the parking lot as well.SERVICE:The servers were super sweet and friendly. I asked them for recommendations and they told me the most popular dishes and helped me decide what to order. Getting your food is also super efficient since after you order they hand you a buzzer that will shake when your food is ready so you have time to just walk around, find a table, and relax while your food is being prepared.IG: @kristys.kravings

2021-10-03 05:12:14Taiwanese cuisine is different from regular Chinese food and people should know that. I’m was glad to try this place. The prices are very decent. I do hope I get to go back and try other things from their menu. The one thing that fooled me on my order was the “salt and pepper shrimp fried rice,” it’s not actually fried rice. It’s fried salt and pepper shrimp on top of rice. The large order of popcorn chicken is huge. I didn’t know big it was since it was my first time there, definitely enough for a small group. The steamed dumplings were really tasty and I’ll be sure to order those again.

2022-10-19 19:43:06I would give 4.8 out of 5.Flavor and portion are good. Price is decent. We had popcorn chicken and ZhaJiang noodles. Chicken is phenomenal. The noodles are just a little too salty. That’s the reason I took 0.2 out lol. Overall good place too have some authentic Taiwan street food.

2020-01-02 04:46:52Located inside the Haven City Market. I ordered the Dan Dan Mian and this is Taiwan style without soup. The noodles were good and all the herbs are fresh. I was surprised they made the noddle spicy (the way it suppose to be and I like spicy). My son ordered the popcorn rice and it was great as well. P.S The owner of the place look exactly like the logo (lol)

2020-09-27 05:01:39Taiwanese food in Rancho Cucamonga might sound dubious but I promise the folks at Jojos Kitchen do it justice! Being Taiwanese, I grew up eating a lot of the staples like popcorn chicken, pork chop rice, Taiwanese sausage, and Dan Dan noodles. Jojos not only kills it in the taste arena, but theyve made it accessible to a wider audience here at the New Haven Market! We ordered a spread of items:ENTREESDan Dan noodles: delicious. The noodles were springy with a nice chew, and mixing the meat sauce and mustard greens (a sign of true Taiwanese food!) coated nicely so every bite was satisfying. We heated up leftovers for dinner and dare I say it tasted even BETTER after that??Mapo Tofu: I almost never order mapo tofu for some reason but after today I might just change my ways. The tofu was silky, but had just enough firmness to feel substantial. And the sauce had this savory numbing spice that was so addicting. Could have done with less rice in the bowl and more tofu cuz Im not a big rice eaterAPPETIZER (SMALL EATS)Popcorn fish: ordered this bc its different than the usual popcorn chicken! The fish is really tender and the batter is light and fluffy. Only complaint is that the way they packaged it in a takeout box meant the steam quickly negated the crisp and the batter quickly turned soggy and chewy My friend thought the batter was too thick overall and would have preferred popcorn chicken.Salt + Pepper Shrimp: loved this! Shrimp was crisp to the bite followed by a well seasoned batter that stayed crispy longer than the popcorn fish.Marinated Pork Chop: I enjoyed this but again the takeout boxes might have compromised the crisp. I think Id enjoy this over rice as an entree, though I do wish there was a bit more seasoning?DRINKSJojos soda: tastes like calpico!Aiyu Jelly Drink: essentially this is lemonade with aiyu jelly. Really refreshing but becomes too sweet for me to finishKnocked one star bc I was disappointed at the portion of the small eats. Their front counter shows that Small should fit into a drink sized container, but our apps each only filled up half of a container. For the price of up to $9 for a small size, Id expect a bit more. Weird cuz from the pictures others had a full cup so I wonder why ours were so small?Service was great, and the market has plenty of outdoor seating, well maintained with covid barriers between tables. Id be happy to return!
