High marks on atmosphere, low marks on food quality. War wonton soup ok, tasty broth. Glazed Cashew Chicken had no flavor with overdone pieces of thigh and leg meat.My friend ordered a fried rice and chicken bowl and made the same comments.

Really enjoyed our meal and the entire experience. We showed up at peak time without a reservation at this tiny restaurant (perhaps 4 tables for four and 3 tables for two) and we were warmly treated. Within 10 or 15 minutes, they had prepared a table for us. The food is prepared with a deft hand. Familiar Chinese food prepared with much more subtlety and restraint, and a few twists from the norm. An all around enjoyable evening.

Very good Chinese that is a cut above. Fresh ingredients, less grease and more flavor. The moo shu pork, dumplings, duck and chow mien are really good and they have a great lunch special. Bring your wallet because it is extremely expensive for Chinese food!!

Hidden gem with very high quality Chinese food. This will be my go-to restaurant for authentic Chinese food on the westside. Its busy so Id recommend getting a reservation. Its not a big place so keep to parties of 2-4 people. Do not hesitate to come here!

I actually really like this place. I think the food here is absolutely delicious! Very clean tasting.The service is not quite the best and the place is very very small, but I do frequent this place for lunch because their food is very good. My favorite dish is the crispy noodles. The cashew chicken is also very good.A bit pricey.

Ordered about $200 woth of take out last week thru door dash, was excited about it before it arrived, since the photos from other had posted looks decent.But, i tell you what, it was nothing but disappointment.We ordered 6 items.1. the wonton soup, are you serious? it had some noodles on the bottom of the soup, obviously, the chef didnt care to rinse of the equipment before cooking next order.2.the boneless rib, let me tell what, its for sure not ribs, it was pork with lots of fat in it, and for sure it wasnt fresh to make, the lean part of the meat was so over fired, that usually occur on meat thats pre-fired and fired again when there is an order.3. the steam king crab, not to mentioned thats a $45 item, it has 1 crab leg chop into 6 pieces, it was salty as hack, the noodles on the bottom was so hard.4.shrimp toast- buddy, let me suggest use change your deep fryer oil more often, cos your old oil is making your fired food very very oily5. the tofu dish, thats probably the only dish we dont have much problem with, but its so tasteless, i had to just pour some soy to go with.6. The pineapple fired rice, thats probably the item that upset me the most, its a $20 fired rice, you cant even use some quality material? and the rice, you should know better to use overnight cool off rice in order to dehydrated the moist from the rice.Overall, what upset me the most was i thought i finally find a quality Chinese restaurant base they have the nerve charge that kind of high price.Which Im fine with paying the price, but when you cant deliver a quality thats equivalent to that price, i will have a problem.I would not suggest anyone to go this restaurant unless they some serious change, thats such a disgrace to the Chinese cuisine name.FYI, Im a Chinese and had owned 5 restaurants.

Overpriced and overrated. This is Chinese food for unsuspecting non-Chinese people who dont know any better. The ambience is nice (although, its a rather tight fit. I thought I was dining in NYC for a moment) and its fine if you live nearby. However, its not a place one would go out of the way for. There are much better options out there. If you want to dine finely in a non-Asian setting, then, go here.

Went there on Valentines day, not good experience in general.1. Stood at the door and waited to be seated for about 3min.2. The foods presentation is great, but the flavor is just average, its over priced. We ordered Hong Kong pin pei chicken, Mongolia beef and braised tofu. The chicken was too dry, the Mongolia beef was just very basic Chinese restaurants dish and the braised tofu had too much soy cause; dishes are not creative and not tasty.3. Street parking.4. Atmosphere is just OK, the place is too tiny, you have to really be careful walking between tables.Very nice staff though.

Peking duck was AMAZING! Met Darrel who told me a bit about authentic Chinese cuisine, and I cannot wait to go back and try a few more dishes he suggested. Although I usually like beer with Chinese food, the wine selection was legit! Finally we dont have to go to SGV to get an authentic Chinese dish.

Exceptional beyond all means. Expensive, but excellent quality food, service and decor. Plan to spend some time here for the most enjoyable experience. Reservations are recommended, as it is a somewhat small space. Ask for a table downstairs. Unique!

High quality chinese food in LA. Dishes I recommend are the Peking Duck and Peking Prawns! They are both amongst my two favorite dishes ever! The food is excellent and flavorful. It is not as oily or fried as you would find at other chinese restaurants.The service is hot and cold. On some occasions, they will treat you very well but there are other times when they seem too busy in such a small space to provide you with good service.Overall, if you like chinese food, I would definitely check it out! The food is great :)

I visited with 2 of my African American friends. We had reservations. When we walked in we were asked to sit to the side and were handed menus and was told to preorder our food even though there was an available table. We were then approached and was told that we could eat on the other side (carry out section). We were very offended and left.

The best Chinese i have had, ever. Completely changed my stance on Chinese food. Light on the sauces, everything feels fresh, crisp and flavorful. I am happy to have found that place that modernises what we generaly know of Chinese food.
