2023-12-02 22:42:39My friends took me to this restaurant for the first time. The food was good. We ordered the typical ones. The flavor was typical Japanese ramen. It was fresh, not too much ingredients but really delicious. Minus was the thin meat and little topping. The restaurant is close to our college so it’s always crowded.

2023-09-29 23:37:29Good local ramen. The Josui ramen has quite the strong fish flavor despite the description sounding very light. The noodles were cooked just right. The miso ramen was good although the miso overpowers anything that may have resembled the original broth flavor. The ramen egg was ok, not as flavorful or runny as others. The chicken karaage batter was quite light, like tempura but light on flavor.Service was fast. The ambiance was very cozy and felt authentic

2023-09-15 13:08:38Very welcoming atmosphere. Sadly their space can get filled and become pretty tight. The ramen was good but didnt exactly hit the spot so adding a few ingredients they offered helped since I love spice. Im not the biggest curry fan but my friend loved it.

2023-05-25 15:34:37🇯🇵 JAPAN (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - The namesake Josui ramen ($10.80) has the pork and chicken stock the shop is recognized for, and is almost always the bowl underneath the customers who come to solo slurp. This is a good indication that it should be your starting point on the menu, despite its very simple look and presentation. Plenty of extras are listed on the menu if you desire, but the bowl without additional toppings is just as good as anything.

2023-07-18 06:07:34My favorite ramen in LA county.I wanted for about 30 minutes to have a seat.I guess Japanese people like this ramen because its not too fatty and strong. My recommendation is Josui ramen.Chicken karaage is good as well.

2023-07-10 06:49:16This is a great locals spot. It is a pretty traditional ramen joint but they do have AC which is unusual and appreciated. They have multiple broths and that is always nice. I went with the Josui Ramen and added an egg. The broth was very good and what I expect of a pork type broth. The egg was perfectly jammy in the middle one would hope for with a ramen egg. Great location, not too far off the freeway. Easy parking in the evenings and on weekends. Solid ramen and good options. Definitely will return.

2022-08-18 04:16:03The food was good, the staff was great and it was a nice cozy space. I had their Tantan Ramen and it was super delish. The broth was nice and thick with a bit of spice. What was a surprise too was when the waiter brought out a bucket of toys for my daughter to choose from. Definitely a kid friendly place. I highly recommend this place for food and family comfort.

2022-07-06 05:09:21Ramen spot off the beaten path. Came here for dinner with a couple of friends right at 5:30 when they opened. There was a small line and there’s a list where you can write your name down for when it’s a busier time. Got the maze soba which wasn’t too spicy but had good flavor. We also split an order of gyoza (5 pieces) which were on the smaller side it came freshly fried. The service was nice and prompt.Indoor and outdoor seating available. Credit cards accepted (only one card per table). There’s a parking lot with ample spots.

2022-12-01 05:51:24Ive been wanting to try this place for a while and just got around to it because my vegan ramen loving niece was in town and I took this opportunity to come here.We loved it enough that she wanted to come back and try a different vegan ramen option. The first night, we came on a Saturday evening, right at 5:30. There was already a line and the place filled up quickly. We were a party of 6, so we ended up having to wait.We ordered many different items and enjoyed them all.So, twice in under seven days, we came back to enjoy more menu options. This time, we were a party of 5 and there was a table available for us at 8:30.Service was great, food was great, nice atmosphere. Yes, I will be back.

2022-04-08 17:58:34Wife found this place while visiting. Small, easy to miss joint but the food is SO GOOD! Firstly, service was very good - the staff was so friendly, there was a slight language barrier but not an issue at all. The menu is not too intimidating: small menu but what we got did not disappoint. Started w/ duck app that was very flavorful. Really enjoyed the KOSOBA JOSUI/SHOYU RAMEN: what a great garlic broth! Also had the MISO ramen that was layered and nuanced in its flavor. This place is GOOD.
