2023-07-21 09:55:34You get what you pay for. Two stars for presentation and tempura. Contrary to majority of the reviews here (main reason why I tried this place), the fish was not fresh. I had to drown them in soy sauce to mask over the smell. Wasabi was very weak too. I think their cooked food might be much better quality judging by how good the tempura was. Service was so so if you’re not a regular. Most of the orders seemed to be takeout. Overall nothing to rave about, but if you live in the area and want some affordable Japanese food within walking distance, I can see it being a solid option.

2023-05-23 09:29:34Great fish, good rice. I got the chirashi bowl. The best sushi place Ive found in south bay so far, which honestly isnt a high bar. Why is sushi thats not terrible so hard to find here? Some fish were cold but still better fish than anywhere else in the bay. Yummy sesame dressing for their salad also.No comments on service, perfectly fine. Waiter was hot. Decor and ambiance gives off fast sit down vibes, not a place for a long lingering dinner.

2023-06-19 21:14:56Pricey but delicious! Ordered the gourmet sushi platter ($38.99) and after tips and all it came out to $50. Suggested tip on the machine is based on original price + tax, so it’s a little bit deceptive of how much one should tip, but it seems like lots of machines on the market do that these days so it’s not a fault of the customer establishment. The service was top notch and the sashimi felt fresh. A bit more expensive than sushi tomi downtown, but overall good experience!

2020-12-28 00:16:01I started coming here for their fried calamari. It was so different than other places. The quality of food is really good and the service is amazing. This family owned restaurant does an excellent job just make sure to provide a tip for all the packaging needed to keep your food fresh and safe.

2023-08-17 02:40:43Got the Megabyte roll and really liked it.The tempura was nicely done and pretty crisp, and the tuna and salmon on top were very decent quality. Portion size was nice; price — I assume a roll is just roughly this price in the bay(?). The individual pieces were pretty big IMO.Next time I’ll probably come and order something else; I’m interested in their sashimi options now.

2023-10-24 07:59:21Pretty standard Japanese food place, with a little extra Korean flair on the menu. Plenty of different types of sushi rolls are the highlight/specialty, but things like the Chirashi bowl or Bentos are what I normally go for.Highly suggest going for Lunch time as they have some lunch special prices that make it much more affordable than the normal Bay area food prices for eating out.
