2024-07-05 04:56:46New opened sushi restaurant in Palm Springs, I went with my friends. We ordered lunch specials. Different kinds of options there. It tastes very good, I would recommend you to stop by there. Also kind service and very nice & clean in restaurant. We had wonderful experience, thanks Joyce sushi!

2024-07-05 03:07:26Firstly, the staff was wonderful. Very warm and welcoming. The head chef also stopped by to welcome us. The restaurant was beautiful and menus impeccable. I would have loved seeing photos of the food on the menu though. The robots are a cute add but super annoying with the delivery music. Not to mention, who am I tipping? The robot or the waiter? Coin toss.I wanted so badly to support a local small business in Palm Springs while visiting from Los Angeles. Most of our sushi experiences in general are pretty basic - to be fair - we have had our fair share of realllly good sushi and just okay sushi and this place sadly was just not appetizing.Granted, I am pregnant so I can only order baked rolls but how can any establishment ruin a pretty basic item? Sadly, this one did. Ordered the shrimp tempura crunchy roll… the excessive amount of “crunchies” piled onto the 5 pieces of roll tasted stale and old. I couldn’t finish it. Also ordered a baked scallop roll that arrived really late. Late and not worth the wait. Why the scallops were chopped up made me think they threw in some other cheap ingredients to accompany it. Sadly, It just wasn’t tasty at all.My husband ordered something else that also had those “crunchies” and he was also sadly disappointed.I suppose the only thing that saved the meal was the salmon sashimi my son ordered - nice big cuts and displayed beautifully. But apparently made his tummy hurt though. Eeek. He was fine though. My husband said “I feel like my wallet was violated”.

2024-07-06 22:03:59Joyces Sushi has done a nice job on their new Palm Springs location. They have a nice sushi bar as well as booths and tables. We had a few different types of sushi: amber jack sashimi, salmon belly carpaccio, spicy yellow tail roll, baja roll, and the shrimp tempura appetizer. The sushi was fresh and well prepared. They also offered house prepared wasabi as well as pickled carrots and cucumbers. Joyces Sushi is a nice addition to Palm Springs. We will go back.
