Joyee Dumpling House in Oceanside

Nice new place, they have a good selection of dishes. The fried rice and the walnut shrimp were delicious! The passion fruit tea is highly recommended. The soup buns were lacking flavor. We definitely need to go back and try more dishes.

We have been waiting for this place to finally open, and it did not disappoint! My husband and I had the Mongolian beef and the cumin lamb which were both very tasty. We and soon realized that only one dish would’ve been enough to feed the both of us. The dishes are huge, definitely big enough to share between two people. We also placed a to-go order of shrimp fried rice, and beef and onion dumplings for the kids, they loved it. Big thumbs up, we will be back for sure.

Amazing service and awesome food! There was a 15 minute wait since we came on opening night and the manager gave us a pot of hot tea once we got to our table since we were waiting outside.The dumplings were super flavorful and the staff were all smilingly and helpful. Really solid opening. Hopefully, they stay consistently great!

We live nearby and have been waiting so long for this place to open, and it was worth the wait! We ordered the Rice Noodles with Beef, Fried Pork Buns, and Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings. Everything was delicious and hot on arrival.We were waited on frequently, with consistent water refills and asking if we needed anything. When we asked for to-go boxes, they boxed it all up for us. So nice!Well definitely be back for more, especially knowing that they also sell frozen dumplings and buns to take home.Note: the chicken wings were not spicy, the peppers in the picture were a garnish

I went here on their second day open. The workers were very nice and the dining room was very clean. We placed our order and they made Szechuan chicken for me even though it wasn’t on the menu, it was excellent and nice and spicy and a huge portion.My friend ordered sesame buns and Szechuan eggplant, we had to wait 15 minutes for the buns to be made. When I checked the order in the car the buns were missing and the girl had put egg and green onion on the receipt instead. I went back in and told them and they apologized and told us we could keep the dumplings for free, so we had to wait another 15 minutes for the buns to be made.When we got home we realized that the eggplant was missing from the receipt and bag. I’m not sure what the problem with the girl that took our order was but they only got one thing right on the order. It was nice of them to say you can keep the dumplings for free but they were almost twice the price of the buns.I will try this place again but not right now because all new restaurants have many issues when they’re first starting out. The blonde does need more training and maybe should repeat the order to the customer.There were 2 things that I did not like about the place as I was waiting inside and that was, it was very cold in there and the music was extremely loud.Make sure you check your order completely before walking out of that store

We live right down the street and I noticed this place finally opened when I stopped by Albertsons. We walked over for dinner and the place was so bright and clean! The service was amazing! The food came out pretty quickly and they checked on us frequently. We have 2 littles that are very messy eaters and they were so nice about cleaning up the mess they left (we cleaned up the food off the floor the best we could). We ordered shrimp chow mein, green beans and pork buns and they were all 20/10, sooooo good! And the food tasted so fresh and clean. We will definitely be regulars here especially since it’s walking distance for us!

Great Chinese restaurant. Service a tad slow due to new restaurant. But food was excellent. We had beef with bamboo, custard bun, sweet and sour pork with pineapple, popcorn chicken, and Thai tea. Very reasonable prices.

Amazing!! Everything we tried was 10/10 !! I love the Szechuan peppers in the mapo tofu and spicy sauce with the wontons and the Dan Dan noodles omg so good!! The char su buns were also out of this world pillowy deliciousness.The service is wonderful and attentive, the atmosphere is bright and modern, love the neon sign wall.Highly recommend, we’ll be here like once a week if we have any say about it.

Food is fabulous, service is Great, and its so cute!!!The staff said the crowds are smaller at the hours of 12 & between 2-5pm, and after 7pm... If you want to avoid crowds!!!👍👍👍
