I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable this taiwanese restaurant was! I will definitely be visiting here again in the future and recommending to friends.Their eggplant dish and their taiwanese fried chicken dish were my personal favorite. But everything we ordered was enjoyable. Also, portion sizes are great. The service was super kind as well, so 5 stars all around!Only thing to note was some of the dishes and spoons at our table were mildly dirty, but kindly ask for a replacement if you see yours the same and you shouldnt have a problem!

We arrived about 7:20PM on a Tuesday night. Once walked in, the waiter informed us that the restaurant would close at 8PM and order first before the kitchen closes. Appreciate the heads up.We got an order of each: eggplant with Szechuan sauce, XLB, walnut shrimp and a bowl of rice. The food was delivered to table pipping hot. Walnut and shrimp were fried crunchy. Eggplant was seasoned and cooked well with spicy sauce. Portion was good.Interior of restaurant is clean with cute decoration. It is good that there is a Chinese restaurant nearby. When we crave for Chinese food, we need not to go to convoy anymore.

5 marks for everything. The noodle is at right texture, so far its the best Chinese style noodle I ever had in San Diego. These 2 noodles with soy milk costed $37. Very filling and decent food.

This is one of the few Chinese restaurants available in this area. The interior is thoughtfully decorated. It offers drinks incl. boba milk tea, soy milk tea, beer and etc. It offers dumplings, noodles, fried rice and dishes.

Ordered fried rice noodle with beef. Beef is well prepared, tender and juicy. Noodle is a bit under seasoned. Onion is raw. And there isn’t much vege like green onion, chives, carrots etc which can be usually find in this dish. Overall, very average.

I went here with my two adult daughters for the first time tonight. The service was excellent and fast! I saw people coming in to pick up their to-go orders and yet they had all our items out as soon as they reach were done and all within 10 minutes! The portions were so big and the scents were heavenly! We ordered the chive/egg dumplings, cucumber salad, braised tofu in brown sauce, eggplant Szechuan, lamb with onions, and rice. Everything was crazy good and obviously prepared fresh! They checked back several times to see if we needed anything else and topped off our water glasses. We each left with a nice portion of leftovers for tomorrow! This restaurant was about 15 minutes northeast of us, but from our first bites we all said, This is definitely a come again!

Delicious and super friendly staff!Garlic green beans 5/5XLB 5/5Scallion pancakes 6/5!!!!Sesame balls 5/5Passion fruit green tea 4/5I feel like I could eat the scallion pancakes at every meal for the foreseeable future, they were super tasty and not at all greasy or heavy. The green tea came with popping boba. I would have preferred the tapioca balls and would have just asked for no boba if I knew, but tea was still good.We dont come this way often, but well be happy to come back when we do.

If you eat at Joyee, beware. The price of the item on the menu is not the actual price of the item. When you get your check, you will see they have automatically added 15% to the total price (Im not talking about gratuity, which they ask for separately.) So that $15.99 Fried Shrimp on the menu ... is actually $18.39. I wouldnt blame them if they need to raise their prices, but this was sneaky. The bottom of your receipt will say, FOR DINE IN A 15% SURCHARGE WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR BILL TO DEFRAY THE INCREASED COSTS OF WAGES AND BENEFITS.I added my own 15% tip in the separate place provided, on top of their 15% surcharge, because I didnt want the workers cheated.Owner, as I said, if you need to raise your prices, all good. But dont resort to this underhanded stuff.

I will be returning very soon! The Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) was incredible! We also got the Cumin Lamb and Dandan Noodles which were both also very tasty! Service was fast and wonderful.
