Hidden Gem!! The food is fantastic, with generous portions. Service is wonderful from a kind and cute older couple. Thank you! Will always come back to this location from now on. Wow. Try the deep fried masubi.

My boyfriend and I ate here on our first date. Weve been regulars ever since, and the staff is extremely kind to us whenever we visit and dine here! We have tried most of their menu, but we always get the chicken katsu and matcha green tea, and they always taste delicious!

This place has THE best katsu I’ve ever had in my life. Such a shame that the mall isn’t more busy to give them more business. Definitely worth the drive to eat there food!

This place makes me feel like I’m a KING. Top tier food quality, presentation, and service (love their chicken Katsu box). If you ever go by puente hills mall, you need to try this place. I honestly don’t how they don’t have a restaurant chain. Because they should. 10/10.

The place has the best katsu I had in the United States. The katus is crunchy and yet not hard. It is crunchy to bite and then the meat is actually soft. Its so good! I cant say enough good things. Just go and try it. You wont regret it at all.

The food was good... until I saw one of the workers not wearing gloves and touching the uncooked meat directly with his hands. I got sick later in the day. I believe this is a serious food handling violation.

At first, I was nervous, wondering what the store would be like in the empty food court of an abandoned shopping mall. They serve Hawaiian Japanese food, and I ordered a cutlet onigiri. The cutlet is thin and crispy, and when you add the sauce, it tastes like a normal sauce cutlet bowl and is delicious. Its interesting because you can get a good sense of Japanese food with a cross-cultural feel.
