I came in for lunch on Memorial Day and the place was empty. I’m not sure why, because the food was great! I had the basil stir fry and the flavor was great. The decor is neat too.

The Thai food here was soooo good! All the food had a very comfortable amount of heat without being overpowering! We got the red curry, fires rice, spicy fish, and pad Thai, and i couldnt stop eating it was so good. I think my only complaint is that the spicy fish didnt have much fish for $16. It was maybe like 2 pieces of fish per person.Also they do not provide any complimentary rice with any dishes, even the curry, and thats an extra $1.50 per bowl, which I didnt like. The service was good though and they were always coming up to us refilling our water and asking if we were doing well.

Today was my family’s first time visiting JP Thai Kitchen. I used the reviews to decide where we would stop, so I thought I should contribute after our meal.We were greeted by friendly staff members as we walked in, so great start. The tables and floors were all very clean. The meal was served family style. We had the fresh spring rolls with shrimp, chicken satay, cucumber salad, wonton soup, crab fried rice and chicken pad Thai. Everything was made to order, so they were able to leave egg out of the Pad Thai and the onions out of the crab fried rice when we requested. My daughters shared the sticky rice with mango but I was entirely too full for dessert. Everything we ate was EXCELLENT, though we all ended up having different favorites. I feel that the portion sizes were good, the quality was excellent, the prices very fair for what we got. As we left we were already talking about how much we look forward to going back again. I’d have trouble ordering something new because I liked what we had so much. You should definitely consider trying JP’s.

This place is such a hidden gem, the food is amazing!! I was looking for a good place to eat during a short visit to Sacramento and we chose this place on a whim because of its high rating. The atmosphere inside is lovely and the servers are nice. I was surprised that we were the only customers inside everytime we went. We ended up eating here 3 days in a row because we got addicted!! The pad thai was my favorite, its so saucey and delicious.

Always a pleasure dining here. Its been a while but Im happy to share that the flavors are still robust and food is still delightful. We had the papaya salad Lao style. Drunken noodles with chicken. Red Curry with seafood combination with a side of rice. The two of us were stuffed.No more happy hour available due to the pandemic but the food portions are plenty and price is affordable. Competitive with other Thai restaurants. Support local because this husband and wife duo knows where the flavors at!

Pad Thai with prawns was excellent. The shrimp and chicken wonton is excellent as well. The stuffed chicken wings were dry, so I will stick with the sunrise bags. This place is as good as my old go to in West Sacramento! They are closed between 3&4 pm...FYI!

JP Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in Sacramento. The food is made fresh to order, the food is flavorful, and the staff are always very friendly. The restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of South Sacramento. There is plenty of parking spaces and I felt safe in the area. I highly recommend this business if you want a taste of Thailand.

We recently ordered takeout from here for us and friends. We ordered the basil fried rice with chicken, pineapple fried rice, pad Thai with prawns, chicken larb, and mixed veggies with chicken. This spot is SO damn good. Three thumbs up from a guy who worked at a thai restaurant for years.Avocado Green Curry is the perfect balance between sweet and savory. That added fatty avocado factor hits this dish out of the ballpark.Everything was authentic, fresh, large portions, with subtle twists on classic plates that seriously set JP Thai Kitchen apart from the rest.

Dined in with my friends and had a delicious meal. I ordered the Mango prawns in curry and it had just the right combination of flavor and heat. The staff were warm and friendly and the restaurant was clean with a welcoming vibe. Staff wore masks and used hand sanitizer. Our food came out relatively quickly and the portions were generous.

Some of the best, mouth watering Thai food I have had in a while. Service was amazing, the wonderful woman at the front even called me to double check and make sure I was still coming to pick up my order. (it was getting late, and I was late myself) so sweet of her! The papaya salad was super delicious, not super runny and you can tell it was made super fresh!! Love this place and would be happy to come again.

I love everything about this place! The food is always great, along with the fast and friendly service. The spotless space is warm and inviting and the restaurant floor is pleasantly un-crowded and seems created to accomodate dinner and dancing once upon a time. Their prices are super reasonable for such ample plates of fresh and wonderfully prepared, delicious food and the menu is extensive with 4 curry bases for their many wonderful curried dishes and like those and everything else on the menu their noodles and fried rices are all wonderful.Its a handy location too -across Freeport Blvd. from the south end of Executuve Airport and they have plenty of easy parking.Try this place once and I think you will go there again and again.Order there for fast delucious take-out too.

This was our first experience with this restaurant. We ordered online and then I went and picked up the order. We put zero for the level of spice/,heat we wanted. When I got the food back to our place, we discovered that the food was too spicy for us to even eat. Even after I send it with all of the rice, with half a head of cauliflower, and a mango, it was still too hot! Also, I ordered the vegetarian egg rolls and they gave me chicken instead. When I called them about it, we were too tired to go back and get the right thing so I asked the woman if she would please credit our credit card. She said because I ordered online I had to get in touch with the agency with the online shopping cart. She wanted me to have a big hassle for the mistake they made! That is not okay. Finally she offered to do it herself. I dont know if they did ever credit our card back for the error. The food was delicious if you can stand things 5x spicier than you want them. They got nothing right in our order. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to the meal.

Was brought here by a Superintendent friend of mine. I had the Pad Thai, as that is my barometer, and it was delicious.I came again by myself with the wife and had the Red Curry chicken. Again the food was good.The customer service was good and the environment was welcoming.The only drawback is the parking lot is small and its next right next to a auto mechanic shop (literally one door over) which makes it kind of awkward.But the food is good and the people are good. Would recommend.

Had a delightful lunch here with my Grandma. She was able to have the peanut spinach dish that had no spicy hints. I enjoyed a flavorful pad see ew with a good ratio of noodles to veggies and eggs. Prices seemed fair all $10 or less for lunch and came with the addicting sour and spicy soup! We both left nice and full. Service was quick, I hope they get more business! We were the only folks there on a Wednesday at 12:30pm.

I just adore this food truck. The portions are HUGE....like two people can share a dish easily. Be warned now...the spicy dishes are very spicy. One of the best Pad Thais I have had as well. This place is a winner. I love getting my free coke just for checking in on Google plus, too. Get the egg rolls. They are pricey at $5 for two, but worth it. Ill be back time and time again.

Place used to be really good, fast, and friendly. Ordered take out here all the time. They must have changed owners again because the last time I went there I was waiting an hour for my take out order while people that arrived after me got their food first. When I inquired to see if they had lost my order, they werent even apologetic and just kept saying that the chef was busy cooking. They didnt check my order, wouldnt take a payment, and couldnt tell me how much longer it would take, so I finally got the hint and just left.

Tonight was my first time ordering from this place. I normally order from SiamPa but when I called at 635 pm, they did not pick up so I went to try out this hidden corner place. Authentic siam restaurant. The customer service is top notch! I ordered drunken noodles and jasmine hot tea. While I waited they gave me complimentary cup of spicy soup. When I was enjoying my delicious meal they came up to me few times and asked how I was doing and how did I like the food. The environment is cozy, calm, and laid back. I would take an after lunch nap here if it would be possible :) lol. Highly recommend this place.

This is our go to place for Thai. The food is great and so are the owners, Amy and Ling. Some of our favorites are the yellow curry, pad thai, raw salad rolls and, of course, the sticky rice with mango. The food was served very fast and it was just the way I like it, HOT! What really grindes my gears is lukewarm food! Ive eaten in Thai restaurants from Bangkok to Vienna, Austria, and Erwan is my favorite by far. The items I have again and again are the salad rolls with tofu, the yellow Thai curry with tofu or shrimp or calamari, the pad see ew with shrimp or tofu, the pad thai with tofu, shrimp, or calamari, and the spicy eggplant. And I always end the meal with their sticky rice with mango; its heavenly!They are going to relocate in January 2015 so maybe they will have more people come to know and love them. I hope so.
