They are now open only on weekends. Ans tonight they had oxtail. We didn’t get it (though I do love oxtail). The guy in the back came out and said, “you gotta try the brisket. It just came off the smoker.”I didn’t get pictures of it. We inhaled it. My partner changed his order from ribs to brisket. I ordered the jerk pork.They said that it’s been there and open for three years. I didn’t even know it was there. I happened to see a guy walk in as i was turning a corner. I drove through the parking lot of the business on the corner to get back to the door. So glad I did.Both were so tender. The fork went in like warm butter - smooth and easy. Excellent flavor.

The jerk chicken was amazingly delicious, well seasoned and well cooked. Crisp and tender . The seasoning is on medium high end note on its hotness level . Try the rice as side as it is super delicious. Also tried the beef patties, I liked the crust more, excepted a little spicy fillings. I couldn’t try there oxtail as it was not available. Will go again for sure . A must try when you are around, support good local restaurants.

First timer here. I decided to try after reading all the great reviews. Im so glad I stopped in today. This place is a gem!!! As soon as you open the door youre smacked in the face with the most tantalizing, mouth watering aroma. I was also greeted by a lovely woman, who was very nice and welcoming. I tried the apple beet ginger juice, oh man, absolutely delicious!!! My son whos annoyingly notorious for being a picky eater, devoured his food. He had jerk chicken, with Mac and cheese, and a side of baked beans. I had jerk chicken with a side salad, and steamed cabbage. My taste buds are still singing praises to this amazing place. I will most definitely be back!! Go try this place!!! Thank you for an awesome experience, and delicious, flavorsome food. 11/10

Yes!!! Had the Jerk Chicken with Cabbage and it was absolutely amazing! Will be going back soon! I wish this place had more locations! The best meat I have ever eaten! Really nice people working in there!If in doubt try it out!

Had the Ox tail and Goat Curry. Highly recommend the Ox tail and Cabbage... cant wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. Great service as well.Also make sure you grab a juice!

I wish I could give 6 stars!!! Everything was amazing! The food was hot and fresh. I had the Jerk Pork, rice and peas, and steamed cabbage. The pork was tender, juicy and exploding with smoky flavor. The cabbage had great texture and was perfectly seasoned. The rice and peas were everything you expect them to be.I also had the Spicy Beef Patty, but I devoured it on the way home and didnt get a pic. Its a great quick grab snack - you wont be disappointed. The price may seem steep, but I challenge you to eat it all in one sitting. The portions are extremely generous. I cant wait to go back! This is my new favorite take-out spot.

Wow the BBQ here is seriously the best! Had the ribs (100/10), jerk chicken (a little dry but still delicious), oxtail (10/10). Would highly rec and would be willing to drive again to go here. Service was also very accommodating for a group of people to dine-in

Had the jerk chicken and a delicious patty. Shared one plate with my wife and it was plenty for us. Food was excellent! Proprietor was prompt and accommodating. Id recommend this place. Its a must-try.

UPDATE...Jerk chicken was AMAZING!! Curry chicken was also so good. I absolutely recommend giving them a try. The portions are HUGE! 5 STARS!I hear they have 5 stars but they are never open to try it. I have stopped by and call so many times with no luck. Today they answered and said they are on vacation until mid September. I will rerate once I actually try them....

Been wanting to try this place for a while now! Finally stopped by and was blown away! You will not be disappointed 💕💕Tried the ox tail and the jerk chicken all had amazing flavor! And all of my sides were hot and fresh as well along with amazing customer service and I didn’t have to wait long for my food! Made it in and out on my 30 min lunch!!!

The food is so good here! Very fresh and clean tasting. I feel healthy and energized after eating here even though youre getting hearty soul food. They are very fast too! Its a great place for lunch or picking up dinner for the family. Ive been here 3 times already. Probably the best food in Oroville!!

We ordered chicken and ribs barbecue. While the ribs were “saved” by a lot of barbecue sauce and were oK to eat, the chicken was marinated or treated with some kind of chemical that clearly tasted and was not good for consumption. Whether it was for the artificial barbecue flavor or the bad meat cure I dont know. Couldnt eat chicken - they threw it away. Unlike other customers, I didnt like my experience. Unfortunately.

Finally great BBQ in Oroville! Nothing not to like here. Delicious food and drinks, clean house, incredible service all for a reasonable price. First time in today but it wont be the last. Try it for yourself, you wont regret it.
