One of my favorite breakfast restaurants in S Cal. I love their coffee, seasonal apple cider, croissants, French toast brûlée, chilaquiles. Christmas decorations are up right now. Enjoy breakfast in a beautiful setting. Me and my friend savored our time our here this morning.

Super cute spot! Recommend for coffee! Came on a Saturday to order at the cafe. They were short staff and had the patrons wait a really long time without acknowledging the line. Cashier did mention in front of the guest oh they can wait I got it. Recommend to order from the Deli rather than the cafe due to the short staff and wait time. It is a first come first serve arrangement but the atmosphere is worth it. They have cute stores and have a bunch of wine, picnic, meats, salads, charcuterie, and fruit in the deli where you dont have to wait.I order a very tasty Earl Grey London Fog of with a croissant. My family overall enjoyed the atmosphere. I leave one star off due to the short staff and wait time to order.

Careful, this is the kind of market and shop where you could go broke. Everything is so well curated and everything is so delightful. I could have stayed here all day!I ended up buying some chocolates and a lemon coconut bar. Absolutely divine. *chef’s kiss* I will be returning soon!!

Always delicious and a gracious atmosphere - a special spot in SoCal! Their Thursday dinners are truly special events.

The first time I went to Brunch, which was highly rated by yelp, it turned out to be cold salad and cold soup. I reluctantly ate it. My Russian teacher returned the Caesar salad and soup. The old beautys style... is really different from the others.

Still think its a beautiful hidden gem in San Marino! What I like the most about this place is that theres a nice boutique shop right next to the restaurant, which is really a great addition to this place. You can find beautiful candles, exotic spices, Valentines Day chocolates, macaroons, handmade pies, cakes, you name it. There is also a deli section for you to shop. During the pandemic, theyve changed how they do things. Its more like a gourmet market these days. Theres no indoor seating anymore, only outdoor seating. First come, first serve. The menu is now more limited and the food is not made to order anymore.

To be honest, the food was a little bland. The service was good. The wait was a little on the long side. The sandwiches were fresh, but a tad boring. The french toast was really good, but be forewarned, it has the consistency of bread pudding. The strawberry and chocolate waffles were good. If you eat in the patio, its charming, but slanted and can be a little tight depending on where youre at on the patio. The rosemary bread they serve is marvelous! It is charming and the store is nice. It was nice enough, but I probably wouldnt go out of the way for it again. However if I found myself in the area, Id definitely go back and try something else. I like to give a place two shots before I decide its not for me.

Heard so much about this place from our friends in our neighborhood. We also wanted to visit this place and have breakfast here to reminisce our Paris trip in the past. But when got there this morning, we found out that they only serve a few items for breakfast during this covid time. We went inside the pastry shop to see what we can get to take out. Looked like they don’t have much on offer. We were totally disappointed as we have planned this visit for awhile and so looking forward to dine here. I did managed to get a piece of quiche to go.We also browsed the store where they sell a lot of cooking products. They have a lot of charming and neat French products in stock. I believe this is a good place to get your French cooking ingredients.I guess we have to wait until the Pandemic is over to fully enjoy what they have to offer for French fair.

Lovely 😊 patio at this San Marino cafe and shop. Coffees ☕️ and wines🍷 and more! Heated covered patio, so much to see inside! They decorate and sell holiday decor, Christmas 🎄 and Valentine’s ❤️ Day! Near the Huntington and would be a great stop after :)

I truly felt as if I was in a cafe in countryside France. The atmosphere and food were wonderful! My wife had the seafood pasta and it was good, her only comment was that the sauce was not as thick as she would have expected from a creme sauce. But it was tasty.I had the beef sandwich. It was really great! The beef was tender and the juices soaked into the bread; Along with the blue cheese, it was unbelievably delicious. The best thing was the French Fries. They were the best we have ever had!Definitely on my favorites list now!
