This is only place we go to for Chinese food. Huge portions, good tastes. The owner/ladies are so friendly and they remember you! Everytime I see her she has something nice to say or she asks me about my kids if they arent with me or how things are going. They sometimes will give me a free drink or egg roll or something just because they are so nice. I have tried the other Chinese food places in the area and after trying this one, it is the main and only one my family and I go too. Thank you Jumbo Chinese food!
The restaurant has been on my want to go list for awhile. I was out doing my errands stopped by the place.I was greeted with a friendly lady. The place wasnt too busy. There was more to gos than seating indoors.The place was clean. They had alot of food waiting to be eaten. If youre not sure how hungry or know what you want, they had pixs to look at. The food was fresh. I had the 2 items combo. I got BBQ pork and orange chicken. Instead of rice, I got rice noodle and chow mein.I liked the BBQ pork. It was very tasty like my Moms. Next time, I will try their fried shrimp and black bean pork.I would recommend this place.
The food was great, and portions were big. The orange chicken was very yummy, better than any other Ive had. Friendly staff too, which is a plus! Definitely will be coming here again!
I have no regret coming here to try the Chinese food. I had been craving some Chinese food for a while but found every place Id been to in the area unsatisfying, but I gave it a chance and it didnt disappoint. I ordered the B plate with the rice noodle, fried rice, Orange chicken, and green bean chicken. It was good! The lady was also super nice and welcoming, that felt really important to me and my family.
Ive never had Chinese food that tastes like nothing, nor did I know that was even possible til now. I ordered their single item place, half rice and noodles with orange chicken. I also ordered their egg rolls and sweet and spicy wings.First sign something was wrong, driving home I couldnt even smell the food.Once I got home I realized why, everything tastes like nothing. Not bad. Not good nothing. Even the sweet and spicy wings were flavorless.On top of it the rice was hard and under cooked.
There are a number of chinese fast food places around here, so sometimes its hard to choose which one. That being said, definitely would recommend this one. They stuff the plate very tightly with your food and the prices are still pretty good, especially given the inflation going on right now. Service was friendly and quick too.

Omg this place is so good. I was in the area from south OC and I picked the first spot on my way. I couldnt have picked a better choice, my eyes were popping out at how much quantity they were giving me. I added a drink to my order and they gave me free rolls. I pulled out a 20 expecting to order to be over $10 and the total was still less than $10! I wish I lived closer to here cause I would love to come here all the time.Food is delicious, selection is good, they care about safety. Best Chinese takeout spot.
Yeah, I did stop by this place on a whim. I was feeling the munchies & decided to go in, since I was already right next door. And I must say that the Chicken & Rice bowl, is pretty good for $5 bucks! But the lady who was serving me, kind of took advantage of my hunger & suggested some other dish to me, which I didnt even eat & kicked up my bill to twice the price! Major bummer! So if u go in there, watch out for a sneaky talkative older lady who will stick it to you if youre hungers out of control. Word up!
Came here twice already and I enjoyed both visits. Customer service is fantastic and food is absolutely delicious. The thing that surprises me the most is the price and how much food they can fit into a takeout box.Jumbo Chinese Food sits in a plaza that sits on Glendora Ave. It sides on the edge of the plaza and isnt too hard to find. Parking is extremely plentiful and Im not sure what the Reserved parking is for but Ive parked in those spots every time.I ordered the same thing but of course changed out the items both visits. The first visit, I ordered a Lunch Special (One item and one side, eggroll, and drink all for $5.75 during Lunch hours) and Two items ($6.75 for two items and one side) as well as the same iteration the second time as well as a Thai Tea. The first time I ordered chow mein for both meals and for the Lunch Special ordered a Sweet and Sour fried Pork. For the two item I ordered Kung Pao Chicken as well as Green Bean Chicken.The second time I ordered the same iteration but the items switched to Fried Garlic Shrimp for the Lunch Special and Broccoli Pork and Fish/Tofu Stir Fry for the Two items.I can tell you know that everything I ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS and definitely worth more than the price they had set for their menu. They absolutely pack the takeout boxes and it would seem physically impossible that the boxes can close but they somehow manage to do it. The Thai Tea comes in a HUGE cup too and is absolutely perfect. It is a bit sweet so I wait for some of the ice to melt before drinking.All-in-all the price, portions, customers service experience is all enough for me to come back. I definitely feel like its cheaper coming here than making your own food.

I went for the first time today. It was very good! Bbq pork and mushroom chicken was bomb and i got a free drink with my meal. Ill Definately be back. -oh yeah, and they accept debit so thats a big bonus😀 5 stars

The serving size is in the name of this place. Ive never had an item that wasnt savory. Im not a pork chop person but when they make pork chop in a sauce its out of sight. You can get a 3 item serving and it will feed two people for sure.

This is a very good place to get your food from. They have a large selection to choose from. The interior is quite clean. Im a picky guy when it comes to food but I love the food from this place.
My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new spot and tried Jumbo Chinese. After one visit the nice people remembered what we get. Such nice people here loving going here now and they ask where I am when my boyfriend goes without me.

Teryaki and BBQ chicken & Kong Pao chicken is very flavorable, they give you plenty of food, enough to share for 2 ppl. They perfer cash but accept debit cards (which is great, other chinese fast foods Ive gone to in the area are on cash only and do not accept cards). The lady at the counter is very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend.

This may be the best Chinese food establishment in SOCAL. The food it delicious, the portions are huge and the prices are low. The customer service is also excellent!! Definitely stop by and check them out.
They really top it off, lots of good food for a good deal, and they gave me free rolls - during a certain time they give you either free rolls or drink.
Food is very good, the owner is very friendly and always hooks up are plates with more the enough food. Kids love coming here and thats good because they are very picky.
I did not care to much for this place. I feel it needs more salt or seasoning. I will try it again on a later date. Most of all thank you for your kind service.

First time trying jumbo Chinese food...the noodles were fresh the vegetables were good, the shrimp, pepper fish,beef broccoli,orange chicken,egg rolls were tasty...but the egg flower soup was a lil bland...other than that it was very tasty...will probly go back again..!!

2021-12-19 17:53:39First time coming here. Not too busy, we were greeted right away and all the food looked fresh. We got a, 2 entree meal with teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken. My son only likes the chow mein but I debated getting the large box, the young lady saw me debating and offered the full plate of chow mein for only $5!! I was so grateful. We also got veggie eggrolls. Chow mein was delicious, the noodles were nice and thick full of flavor. Portions are more than generous. The veggie eggrolls tasted a bit too garlicky for me but the price was very reasonable I only paid $22 for the whole meal. Will definitely come back!

2023-09-07 22:31:25Its just an below average Chinese Anerican takeout. Avoid the spring rolls they call them eggrolls there but theyre actually spring rolls. Most probably the frozen stuff, cuz they were extremely pasty and tasteless. The teriyaki chicken was okay but the low mein (aka chow mein), oh boy, they were badly overcooked and steamed with no hint of wok hei. First and last time unfortunately. Oh, and they also charge you fifty extra if you use your credit card.

Also, got the mushroom chicken, which was too salty. We ordered 2-2 item combos. Comes with fried rice and noodles. Noodles come with 3 options, thin rice noodles, egg noodles, or flat rice noodles. We had the fried rice and both rice noodles. Our favorites were the noodles. Will definitely come back, but skip the mushroom chicken and fried rice.

However, a few days ago I picked up a 3 item order and when paying I get a printed receipt only showing total of purchase. Lady acted a little shifty when punching numbers so I asked for detailed receipt and she fumbled a little and ended writing up a receipt with price per item and a total of $27.99 which is what printed receipt showed. When I got home and out of curiosity I added the items and came up with an over charge of $3 dollars. Want to patronize local small business but not if they resort to little scams to rip off customers. This really adds up!Its not only unethical and illegal but its also CRIMINAL! Needless to say I will never return to this joint and WILL URGE ALL CUSTOMERS TO DOUBLE CHECK TOTALS AND ASK FOR DETAILED RECEIPTS.Debating whether to report this to County and State agencies.
