Kabuki Japanese Restaurant in Pasadena

Food, prices, and service was great. I was a little skeptical because it was a chain restaurant. However, the sushi was fresh and I loved how the pickled ginger tasted more homemade. I recommend the Tiger Roll and the fresh and cheap Sapporo Beer! Also, parking is cheap and easy at the DeLacey parking structure.

Not really satisfied of my visit. The spicy chicken ramen was not spicy at all and the broth was watery and tasteless. The server (Sidney) was really friendly and professional but the food was far from being an authentic Japanese dish, don’t recommend it.

They had a special for popcorn chicken that was very reasonably priced, so I went in to get an order. It was brought to me in less than a minute. The appearance of the food didnt look good at all. It was dark and looked to be hard. I tried to stab the toothpick into it but it wouldnt even go into the surface. So silly me picked it up and popped a piece into my mouth. It was so hard I couldnt even chew it and it cracked my tooth.( I didnt know for sure until I got home) I waved the waitress over to tell her what happened and asked for a freshly cooked portion, she just looked at me confused and went to talk to her manager. She went to the manager who was sitting in the corner of the restaurant and I saw her laugh and shake her head no after the waitress told her I wanted a freshly cooked portion... She came back and said the manager said that it is already freshly made and she will not get you a fresh portion and if youre not going to eat here she would like you to leave!!!!I do not recommend dining at this location!I didnt even want to give this place 1 star, but there is no option for ZERO star!Does this look fresh to you??

My friends and I went there for dinner. Everything we ordered was so delicious. The Sapporo draft beer was $3 for the happy hour.

Great food, fast and friendly service. Mimosas are very small and the bathroom is way out of the way. Other than that good place to sit out side and relax.

Good location. Nice area to sit outside and enjoy the view of Old Town Pasadena. Food is good, but I wish they would bring back some of the dishes they got rid of, like the hibachi meal.

Went back for family favorites fresh chirashi sushi, rainbow roll and spicy seafood udon. The albacore roll and miso mushroom soup were both satisfying. The banana tempura and green tea mochi were not too sweet. I appreciate the efficient service.

I’ve been to this location several times, compared to the other kabukis in LA. I have to say that this is the best location.This past experience made me post a review here and Yelp. Keegan was such a great server, my date and I stepped in at 9:20. We ordered drinks, apps, and ramen. We were out by 10pm, the service was so fast and the food was great, I appreciate the attentiveness and speed Keegan had. My date loved this location since it was his first time and noticed the difference with the Glendale location

Good food, good quality, sake, and beers.The dynamite roll was delicious, as well as the salmon, Vegas, and spicy tuna roll. House and Crab salads were excellent.The service by mina was good. I highly recomend Kabuki.
