The food was piping hot which I appreciate, however my ramen was all clumped together and stuck. The yellowtail collar tasted a little different from the ones Im used to eating. Overall good!

Excellent food, just excellent. Forget the other restaurants close by, just go and ear here. I had a blast here, service is fantastic and so is the food. Pro tip, take the deep fried cheesecake.. Man, how delicious....

The food was delicious! I got a roll of sushi (I ate it all before I could take the photo), the chicken kotatsu I believe, and the black clover ramen. If you love anime like myself it was adorable looking through the menu and seeing all the anime-inspired dishes. There’s art from multiple anime all around the shop too. The only downside is the service to be honest the waitress that served me seemed very uninterested and the entire time me and my partner ate she and the other young employees/cooks in the kitchen were talking about their private lives with each other loudly. Because of the common interest of anime and other Japanese culture (and being a young, 20 year old woman myself) I was hoping to see a little more enthusiasm from the hostess but luckily the poor service doesn’t affect the food quality which was delicious. Next time I visit I’ll probably just get take out.

Its been a while before I gave a 5 out of five but it was well worth it we spend a total of $90 and every cent was worth it the pictures Im putting up was very good I believe the soup could not use the corn cuz it would overpower it but overall taste the flavor of the food and I have travel to Nevada Arizona New Mexico Texas Eamon been to the Fresno volcano Style seafood Japanese style and I paid close to $235 and this place out beat that and dont forget to try the sake my favorite is the peach cold and I know its usually serve hot but I like it cold

Its a great little restaurant on the corner has a great atmosphere drawing of anime on the wall they have a nice menu they sell sushi if you dont like sushi come for there Ramen or teriyaki chicken they even sell katsu and they even serve bento meals

I will definitely come back again. So far they have the best ramen that my fiancee and I found in Visalia and Fresno. If you like your tonkatsu ramen spicy (Im sure I spell it wrong), make sure you ask extra spicy :D. Calamari was crunchy and fresh, though Im sure they could drained the oil a little more. Sushi rolls were on point.If I can rate this place again I would give it another 5 stars. They maintained their ramen name and still hold the best ramen in town in my opinion. Nice time Ill definitely ask for extra extra spicy.

An absolutely delightful experience. Cozy atmosphere, super clean restaurant, friendly/animated staff. The food is AMAZING. Ramen, sushi and the deep fried oreos are to die for! I ordered takeout and got the spicy vegetable ramen. It was packaged very nicely with broth, toppings and noodles separated. My noodles seemed overcooked but the fried tofu and broth was fantastic. I am going to try the tonkatsu in the actual restaurant next time in case the takeout aspect is what made the noodles mushy.The broth is so good I poured it into a cup to drink when I decided I didnt like the noodles

The food is amazing. I especially love the sushi & ramen, but service kinda sucked. I get it was busy during dinner but even when we were patient we got completely ignored that we had to go up to the cashier to get their attention. They took so long that instead of dine in we decided to do take out. Would recommend the place but avoid their busiest times and reserve in advance.

The Ramen soup was great, the noodles are more al dente and the BBQ pork is delicious. If the egg was soft boiled or runny yolk that would made it perfect. Overall, great food.

We enjoyed the Seaside roll it tasted great the seaweed salad topping gave it a nice crunch. The Postal roll had an over powering taste of lemon taste. We also got the chicken Katsu and Chicken Teriyaki box lunch nothing we would order again. Im hoping theyll add other Filipino food and desserts to theyre menu.

It is a great place to eat, went there for my first time today and I was satisfied. It is the closest place aside from similar restaurants in Fresno that provide the same atmosphere and food. The anime drawings on the wall were great and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

This is a Hidden Gem in visalia. It is by far the best sushi in town. Orders were well portioned. The fish was and it wasnt crowded. Ive also had their Ramen which is also very good. We got specialty rolls, nigiri and hand rolls. The Spicy Tuna was very unique and done differently than any other sushi place Ive ever been to, but my favorite was the albacore nigiri which was amazing followed by the fantastic scallop hand rolls. All know and extremely pleasant meal. My only gripe is that they are closed on Sundays.

I got the spicy tofu teriyaki bowl and a vegetable roll togo, I asked the waitress if the bowl had veggies and she said yes broccoli and carrots. I get the food and get in the car, and I went to open the bag to check my order, and when I picked up the teriyaki bowl, the lid wasnt attahced so it dropped and spilled all over my shirt. I shoveled it back into the bowl best I could and drove home, I get home and go to eat the sushi and none of it was cut all the way through and it was rolled so loosely that everything fell apart, it was also extremely bland and was really not good without the help of soy sauce. Not to mention the vegetables she told me were in the bowl consisted of literally two tiny slices of carrot and two tiny stalks of broccoli. The teriyaki bowl was about 50 cents worth of food and they charged me $12 for it. I was excited about this place because it had good reviews but that was one of the worst takeout experiences Ive had in a long time, maybe they were just having an off night, but yeah that was pretty disappointing, the food had no heart whatsoever, just thrown together and overpriced.Also not a vegetarian friendly restaurant unless you want to only have two entrees to choose from.

Their sushi is always wonderfully prepared and flavorful. Staff is ALWAYS, polite, courteous, and on top of things. The Ramen is seriously, the best comfort meal I can ever get. Being a Pescatarian(Vegetarian+seafood) their menu options are on par to my liking. I enjoy spending my time and money here.

First time here i came because my friend said it was so good and it was AMAZING I cant wait to come back and try everything! The miso soup is sooooooo gooood its the best Ive ever had and I tried the pork katsu bento and it was really good like amazingly good and I also tried the Naruto roll and it was so fresh and yummy very flavourful and light and refreshing. On top of the amazing food the owners are very nice, attentive and very friendlycant wait to tell my friends,family and co workers about this place and come here.10/10 recommend

The service was great and the restaurant was very busy. I ordered ramen and a sushi roll at the bar. The ramen especially hit the spot on a cold day. It was my first time at Kaen Na Ramen & Sushi and I sat next to regulars that came weekly. Always a good sign!

Wow, wow! If there were more stars I would give them a 10 star review. I ordered a bento box with 4 spring rolls, Teriyaki Shrimp, steamed rice, 4 california rolls and a Shrimp tampura Sushi roll on the side. The food was bursting in flavor and it was delicious! They make you feel welcomed and just by being there it was a nice calm environment. I noticed that everyone who would be done, the employees would thank them before walking out that door. They didnt miss anyone including me :) They were so nice and they had great customer service! I truly believe this restaurant will expand, because as soon as they opened and I got there, it got full fast! Come eat at Kaen Na Ramen & Sushi! It wont disappoint.

One of the best food Ive ever had. This asian fusion restaurant is 10 stars for me!!! Every dish we had was fantastic and made it with love. We ordered deluxe nigiri (chefs choice), yellow tail collar bone, lumpia, agedashi tofu, and cucumber. Too bad I didnt upload photos. It was too good to miss as soon as they served it. I highly recommend this place. Very affordable and scrumptious. Not to mention their lumpia is home made. The owner was very polite and friendly. Was very happy we found this place. We will see you again soon.

This is a great little sushi joint with excellent friendly service. Its a little small but the food definitely makes up for the space. Cute little places that only has 7-9 tables. Sushi Bar at the counter offers more space and everyone is very attentive. Delicious food and not overly salty as Ive had at other places. Definitely recommend.

My partner and I have been coming here almost every week for several months and it is THE BEST food, ramen, and sushi I have ever had. Make sure to try ordering the surprise roll at some point! If the restaurant is rated by hostess attitude and enthusiasm, this restaurant can get 4 stars, but as a ramen restaurant, or as a restaurant, it can be rated 2 stars. I give it an average 3 stars. Ramen is swallowable, but soup base is definitely not ramen soup, egg is done wrong, pork is actually normal roast pork- not bad but cant say good, supposed to be slow cooked and should not be using bbq sauce with that pork. Worse is its noodle, its bad noodle that also over cooked. Rice in sushi were jasmine rice, please improve on basic Japanese food if you want to be a Japanese restaurant, you have to use sushi rice and vinegars, and you shouldnt rolled them into rectangles. After driving hours from city and hungry for good food and got in the restaurant with a 4.9 rating, have to say we were disappointed and annoyed.

What an amazing little place to open up here. First thing Id like to point out is the atmosphere, its so welcoming and inviting, talk about a nice little place for almost any occasion; a quick lunch, a date night out, a casual spot for a roll or two.As a vegetarian it was great to have great options that were real full meals. Too often are the veggie options really simple and you end up with a very basic roll that is sort of boring. Not here, it was a full veggie roll with seaweed salad and Avocado on top, with amazing filling. Not only that, but the Spicy Tofu Teriyaki bowl was to die for honestly. Fried Tofu, smothered in spicy teriyaki sauce, it was really amazing. I was happy to have really great options. The chef came out and asked if it was great and I spoke with him about how they are also going to introduce a vegetarian ramen soon.So I will be coming back here several times and count me as a regular now! Check this place out and you wont regret it.

We came to the restaurant following recommendations on the Internet.The restaurant gives an atmosphere that you have arrived in Japan.The food is varied and very tasty!The Japanese beer was also really tasty!Everyone ordered an appetizer and a main course and the price was reasonable compared to the restaurants we have eaten at so far.The service is really amazing! Thanks to our lovely waitress and Donnie the owner of the place who was clear how important it is to him that all the customers are satisfied.If we were to stay we would return to eat at this special restaurant!It is highly recommended!
