I went to Kaiba, which is a spacious restaurant with easy parking. The location is convenient, and the prices are reasonable, making it a nice place to have a meal with a decent menu selection.Their sushi burrito is tasty and comes in a very good portion size. Its worth trying if you want something a bit bigger than regular sushi rolls.However, I have to say that their salmon sashimi at Kaiba was very disappointing. The slices were too thin and didnt taste like top-quality nor even standard version of salmon. The texture was also sticky, which wasnt enjoyable.Another issue was that their rolls at Kaiba tasted very similar due to too much sauce. So, when we ordered different types of rolls, they all ended up tasting alike, which was a letdown.On the positive side, the service at Kaiba was great. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the dining experience enjoyable.If youre local and looking for a place with decent prices, a variety of options, and good service, Kaiba could work for you. Its also a good spot for large groups or taking kids after sports activities.However, if youre a sushi lover or just passing through Anaheim, Id suggest considering other options with better sushi quality.Overall, my experience at Kaiba was alright, and I might return for a casual lunch or hanging out with friends. But if youre a sushi fan, you might want to try elsewhere.Note: Tastes vary, so its best to try it for yourself at Kaiba to see how you like it. Happy eating!

Great food and great service! They were quick to bring my food and everything was hot and fresh. Never have I’ve been to a dine in where they are this attentive and not be annoying. I’m a huge water drinker and usually finish my water before I ask for another but this time, they offered to refill my water whenever I was half way done. They came 4 times to refill my water and checked up on me to see how everything was going. The manager/owner greeted everyone who came in and even stopped to ask everyone how it was going with their visit today. They even have a drive thru. Would highly recommend!

Great restaurant! Quality was surprisingly good for a casual ramen and sushi. Their sushi burritos are worth trying on a first visit. Price is very reasonable as well even for being so close to Disneyland. Definitely recommend trying.

Today we tried this place for the first time and it was awesome! We had delicious sushi rolls and a spicy ahi tuna salad. All of the food was well prepared and so good. There were four of us and everyone enjoyed their food. A definite winner! You will not be disappointed.

Got to have Ramen tonight. This is perfect. Weather is a bit chilly, and a hot spicy soup is what I need.You cant go wrong with their Ramen. Its delicious and tasty, especially the broth.Fast service. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy environment. 5 stars.Good eats.

Had a really good time here, really good food and a good environment. Celebrated my boyfriends birthday here and they sang him happy birthday. Very nice hospitality. Maria was nice and had good conversation as well. Would come back again

Much better food here than any Disney options. Its easy to join the waiting list. A short drive from my hotel and I really enjoyed the sushi and ramen. The place is clean and the service is friendly.

Food and service were outstanding. Some of the best tasting ramen ever. Portion size was incredible, so be prepared to take some home. Servers and hosting staff were very polite and very timely. If you are looking for great tasting Japanese food and great prices, this place will do it.

Sitting next to a Taco Bell if you arent looking youd drive right on by. But Kaiba is in what looks like s converted fast food building that has a drive through. Ive never eaten at a place that has drive thru Japanese food but i like it.Service staff is super quick and really accommodating. And dont let this get out, the portions are huge here. Like most Japanese places when you order ramen the portions of ramen that you get is just enough to fill you but no this place you get a lot. Same with the vegetable and shrimp tempura entree. So much food and the flavors are great, your orders come out super quick too, like Chinese restaurant quick.Definitely worth the try if your atoms the area

Im not sure whats going on here, but this place is unorganized. I was asked if I was ready to order and told the guy I didnt have a menu. He says OK and walkes away. He never brought the menu. Another waiter comes and asks if Im ready to order. I tell him I told the other waiter I didnt have a menu. He directs me to the scan menu. I told him the other guy never mentioned it. I got 2 glasses of water that were both dirty. My food came out intermittently. Gratefully the food was good. The carpaccio had too many onions, but some people may like that. They cleared the table and I had to wait forever for my check. The staff, one in particular, is all over the place. She appears nosey and in the other waiters business. But I could be wrong. Maybe staffing is poor because of slim pickings in available staff lole so many other places. Sushi has always been relaxing. I wont come back here.

This is a great small little Japanese eatery. They replaced a sushi place we used to visit frequently and it to my wife and I too long to try it this place, but once we had dinner there, we went back the very next day for lunch; theyre that good.Their menu is a bit small, but everything on it, that weve tried, is good. The jalapeno bomb is probably the most average item on their menu, and its very good. The crunchy asperagus roll is one of my wifes and mines favorite roll of all time. If you havent tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and stop by.

Ive never seen a sushi place with a drive-thru window, and as such, I was a bit skeptical at first. However when I walked in, the delicious smells hit me, and I realized that this was legitimate. This was confirmed by the sushi itself, which looked and tasted great. Service was on point despite having a full house, and their rolls were generously sized. I would definitely recommend Kaiba too.

Visited this place as we saw they have very good reviews. However, They are not an authentic Japanese Sushi restaurant. Food options are Only rolls, a few sashimi items and fried food but not Sushi. We ordered 1 roll, 1 fried squid, albacore carpacio, seaweed salad and moved on. Roll is okay, carpacio is blank.

It was my first time having lunch at Kaiba, and I enjoyed their food & service. They have a drive-through as well!! The interior is spotless and nicely renovated.It was two of us, and we shared a small Sashimi platter that offered Yellowtail, Salmon, Tuna, and seared tuna, and all of it was delicious! We also ordered the Alaskan sushi roll and Spicy Garlic edamame. The roll was yummy, and so was the edamame. FYI, you can choose your spice level for the edamame!I will for sure stop by again soon.

The Salmon Sashimi was incredibly fresh and it tasted great, as well as their other rolls. We ordered the Ramen as well and it was good for sharing since it was a big bowl. We were happy with the quality of the food and the service that we received. Well definitely go back.

Another Yelp review gone Great. They were right on . Family loved ramen, sushi, and my bento style box. The place was packed and good place to get out of the Disney area. The Alaskan sushi avocado, braised salmon, very similar, but not exactly like Lionking. But still a fav. Kids loved the tempura. As always post wherever your palette takes you.

This is my to go too place when Im home. Everything was good overall except for the lady who was cleaning the glass that separates the tables, very kind by the way. Well, she had gloves on and decided she was going to show me to my table, as she grabs a plate, napkins, and chopsticks all this without taking her cleaning gloves off and washing her hands. Throughout the whole time I was eating, she kept sitting other people while doing the same thing. She would go back to her rag and spray or broom. I wanted to say something, but then again where was the supervisor or owner of the restaurant.

Came here late Tuesday after a visit to the parks. One of the reasons we came was that it was open late. Its a very casual place that also has a drive thru.The food was great. We had the large sashimi combo, rainbow roll, gyoza, mixed tempura, squid rings, and tonkotsu ramen. The food came out so quickly.Server was good albeit we had to flag her down a couple of times.We went there about 45 minutes before they were going to close but we didnt feel rushed. Everyone was friendly. Restrooms were clean. Would come back again.

Based on all the reviews I was excited to try this place out. Interesting menu choices from sushi, ramen, udon, salads, and burgers. We got the ramen, fried chicken, the free gyoza (via yelp checkin), and a caterpillar roll. The best thing was the roll. The ramen was ok, but seemed to be lacking something. The broth felt overly fatty. Fried chicken was also ok. And the gyoza was ugh.Right in the middle of our meal all the lights turned off. I thought we had a blackout for a moment when all of a sudden one of the waiters starts shaking a tambourine. Then party lights started flashing and the wait staff sang happy birthday to one of the customers. Once it was over all the lights came back on. Never seen such a show at any ramen place before.The building looks like it was an old Taco Bell. Complete with drive-through. The parking is ok but you have to watch out for the drive-through cars. No wifi is offered here. From the outside the place seems a bit shady.The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive.

We had fried soft shell crab, crispy spicy tuna, yellow tail carpaccio for starters. Everything was so big and flavorful. For main course, tonkatsu ramen, salmon burrito, tempura and sushi burger. Excellent! Everythings was wonderful. Note: the bun of the sushi burger was the crispy rice and the French fries were tempura sweet potatoes. So extra light & crispy-highly recommend! This is a wonderful place to eat!!

Even though they were very busy, we were allowed to sit right away at an available table while waiting for another table to become available. Ilike it when restaurants are flexible and friendly in such little ways.The food was really good. I devoured my Ca rolls and another pork based dish.They have a drive-through. I dont understand how they can make so much good food so efficiently.Oh, and then didnt make a fuzz when our group sang.Kudos to management, chefs, cooks and servers, and cleaning vrew.

Went here for lunch for the first time and it was alright. The price is pretty good for what they offer along for the ramen and interesting Japanese style grill on the menu. I just ordered the regular sushi plate and the fish quickly fell off the rice after I used my chopstick to grab it. At least the service was nice, worth a visit for a value standardized Japanese meal around the neighborhood

Good food with great presentation. The food were really good, they had great flavor. The price is competitive compared to similar sushi places. Everything was good. The salmon was the only thing that was probably slightly off, it wasnt bad at all but not on par with other places and that is the reason they dont get 5 stars. I will be back to give them another try. They also have a dice through.

Had business in Anaheim, so looked up the top restaurant in Yelp and made a reservation there!I was a little surprised to see a drive-through option, but a lot of customers actually use that! On my way out that line was packed!With our reservation, we walked right in and had a table. They had a large variety of items, but it was cold so back to the trusty ramen! Note that you can switch out the protein in ramen to chicken or beef, but you have to pay $3 extra.The piping hot bowl of ramen came out quickly after, and it was delicious! The soft-boiled egg was perfectly cooked, the cha-shu meat was flavorful, the broth was rich, and the noodles (though thinner than expected) had good chewiness.A couple of people in my party ordered the sizzling plates, which I dont think Ive seen in Japanese restaurants like this one, but they said it was very tasty as well!Definitely a good experience overall, will come back if Im in the area again!

We got here 45 mins prior to closing time, the place was packed, we had a party of 6 no sitting available, however Alberto and Miguel helped us out and added a table to extend our sitting space and served our drinks and food on a timely matter. The food is delicious and I loved the customer service. Wish every restaurant had a Miguel and Alberto to provide excellent customer care. 👏 thank you

We ordered a Tuna Sushi Burrito, Spicy Miso Ramen and Takoyaki.Staff was very attentive and quick.Tuna Sushi Burrito: Flavors and texture were on point. The rice was a thin layer but not too thin where it broke. The garlic chips and 2 sauces as a dip was a plus. We ordered a Super size and shared, still very large portion.Spicy Miso Ramen: It was not very spicy, broth was good but nothing unique. The noodles were way too much, so much we barely got any broth. The noodles were also weird, not the right noodles used for Japanese ramen. They used Chinese egg noodles. They also give you only half a soft flavored egg. What a tease!Takoyaki: Yummy! They had the right sauces and I love the Bonito flakes!

My friends and I loved our experience at Kaiba! The staff was so attentive and we had excellent service. Here are some of the great highlights about this place and our experience.For appetizers, we first noticed that the gyoza was probably prepared fresh because it had that natural sear and fried look. It was not overly greasy and did not look like it was thawed and fried from something prepackaged. It was super tasty and a great appetizer. My friends also loved the spicy tuna on crispy rice and rated that it was slightly better than a different restaurant.In addition, our ramen was taken out quick and my Tonkostu Ramen tasted amazing. It was a bigger portion than I expected. I couldn’t finish my special roll after.Finally, we loved the value of everything we ordered. Went to this place about 40min before they closed, but the staff were so nice and attentive! We ordered our food and it came out very quickly, hot and fresh. The Tonkotsu Ramen was delicious, as was the beef teriyaki. Their sushi had a great fish/rice ratio, and the pricing was decent. They also have a DRIVE THRU which Im going to be using in the near future. Only thing I would caution is that they dont take American Express, so make sure you have cash or another card on you. Still, management was so helpful about it and we figured something out.

My wife and I love the foods here, its one of the top Ramen and sushi restaurant in the area. There are lots of other closer sushi places but its worth the extra 30mins drive from our place. The service is friendly most of the time. Would be 5 stars if the sashimi plates are more consistent. Sometimes its super out of this world good (see picture), and sometimes theyre a bit disappointing scraps of fish with the skin left on them and the pieces are smashed. For the price, its just not right (will post pictures if it happens again, want to stay positive). I would order them everytime we dine there, but for that reason Im afraid to because it ruins my whole dinner and experience there. Also miss the 99cents beer, now its twice that for a small mug. The place is not that big but fairly clean. They offers drive through. How convenient is that! But I prefer eating there because my kids likes deep fried sushi/roll so its best to eat right away. Terribile idea.In the end tried a bit of fish, sushi, sashimi, veggies and fruit and all I can say is that some 30 later I had to run to the bathroom. Not a nice feeling at allI could never recommend this place because of the massive lack of cleanliness (I really wonder how this place isnt closed... The Spicy Miso Ramen has the perfect taste that people expect. The pork had the rich flavor you would expect. The soup had an excellent flavor with a ramen noodle that had a good amount of taste in the soup. Tonkotsu ramen is made very well. The egg even had a really liquid texture, which really gives much more of a perfect, well-made egg. The Gyoza is really good even with the crunchy part of the gyoza. The gyoza sauce is good. It so happens, that we liked the dishes in exactly the same order that we had them. The Salmon carpaccio was a little thicker than anticipated. Found this place by passing by. Anaheim has a lot of authentic international food along Lincoln Brookhust, Euclid... This one is near the 99 Ranch Market among other Asian-food inspired flavors. The first impression of this place was it offers very competitive priced Japanese menu ranging from $6 to $9 basic rolls to more decorated special roll a bit above $10 but still less than $15!! We went in and tried four types of basic rolls and a ramen. We didnt try the sashimi during our first trip. This is one of my favorite places! The food is amazing, and fully customizable. They genuinely care about food allergies etc and will bend over backwards to ensure a positive experience. Called an order in on a Tuesday night for pickup. Upon picking up, this place was POPPIN! All the workers running around because of the dinner rush. Yet they were still pleasant and were able to seat those who wanted to dine in.Me, in the other hand, took mine to go. We ordered a good amount for dinner: beef udon ($14), Mexican roll ($14), Rainbow roll ($14), dark meat teriyaki chicken with Cali roll ($16).I wasnt a big fan of the Mexican roll. The spicy tuna had after taste that I want used to. Not a not fresh after taste but just different. For $14, im not sure if o but this roll again. The rainbow roll was up to par and beef udon was pretty decent.I might have to come back again and give it another try.

Exceptional service!! Had a horrible experience on Postmates but Kaiba was fast and willing to fix the problem so we were able to enjoy their delectable food. We ate inside and it exceeded our expectations! We ordered the crunch roll, beef teriyaki on a sizzling plate, Miso soup and gyoza! The cherry on top was their green tea ice cream. we will definitely be back soon! 🔥🙆🏻‍♀️

Kaiba for the WIN — visiting town with the fam and ate with a party of 7. Some voted for, some voted against sushi. But after we ALL agreed this is our new favorite sushi and Japanese steakhouse. HUGE sushi rolls, ramen bowls, and entrees — and everything was a 10 on the taste buds. Quick, friendly service too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Really liked the new place. $0.99 beer special all the time, and the rolls are large but cut to a good bite size. I tried their ramen and it was very good. I have been here 3 times so far, once inside and twice I used their drive-thru. Everytime I have been happy. I just wish they had some sort of customer loyalty program in place.

Came to drive thru 11:35 as soon as they open on a Monday, first off the lady got my order wrong: I wanted tonkotsu and she input sunset, the wait for me to get two ramen bowls and one order of California rolls exceeded over 35-40 mins wait time on a drive thru. That was ridiculous.

First time here, we were looking for a place to eat on our way to SD. So we decided to give it a try! They currently offer outdoor seating and they also have a Drive-thru which I thought was super funny haha Ive never seen a sushi place w a drive thru but thats cool!Anyway, the service was great we had no problem and all the waiters were so nice and prompt! The food was amazing!! We got squid legs for appetizer, a Vegas roll, tuna roll, & the Large sashimi combo. That combo was HUGE! The pieces were so big it was absolutely worth 40$, actually thats an amazing price for all the sashimi they give you. The vegas roll was great too, even my husband liked it and hes not big on rolls! Everything tasted fresh and delicious and was brought out promptly. If were ever in the area, we are def coming back!

I always go to this restaurant and the service is usually great, but my dad told me he went today and he was disappointed because he says a guy who was taking the order from him was rude. When my dad was almost finished the guy rushed my dad and took his plate away and he wasn’t finished eating, he also brought the check very quickly as if he wanted my dad to pay right away and get the hell out of there quickly. I’m writing this review for my dad as his English is not very good and he doesn’t know how to use the phone very well to write a review.

This place is awesome! Great food for a Great price! The spicy miso ramen is delicious and their rolls are excellent! Party of 4 we paid $90 and 3 of us had alcoholic drinks and the other had $2 beers plus 2 green teas. 2 ramen soups, gyosa, spicy garlic edamame, dynamite roll and rainbow roll 😋 My favorite place!

First time stopping in and I was blown away. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The menu is available via QR code and is complete with lunch and drink specials.I must say the portion sizes are very generous. We ordered a teriyaki chicken w/ tempura lunch plate, the Kaiba roll and the Jalepeno bomb roll...along with a power of beer and a cold house sake.The teriyaki chicken was delicious, served on a sizzling skillet on a bed of sliced onions with rice and miss soup on the side.The rolls were huge! The Kaiba sauce was absolutely delicious and paired extremely well with the fish. The jalapeño bomb was exactly that a delicious roll with a stuffed jalapeño.In total our bill was $63 for two people. We had leftover food, but managed to finish our drinks ;) 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely eat here again.

This place was super busy and I can see why! Came on a Saturday night around 6pm and it was already packed. But they were able to seat our party of 8 in about 20 min, not bad at all!The food was so yummy! Two types of ramen, I loved both the tonkatsu and the spicy miso. Seafood yaki udon was delish as well.Service was fast and it was super affordable. Loved my bday surprise from them as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Have to admit I go here once a week. They have great choices you can pick anything off the menu depending on your desired flavor of eating that day. Really friendly service will help you choose a nice drink with your meal as well. The drive-thru is a normal wait time to make sushi or your meal. And inside dining is actually very cozy and welcoming.

Awesome food! Sushi portions are big and they have a good selection of specialty rolls too! Amazing staff and menu design! I was scared that the replacement to my old drive thru sushi spot Mako would be unsatisfactory but it was quite the opposite. Dining in the restaurant is very nice even though it is on the smaller side, new, clean, and modern. This is now my #1 stop for all my sushi desires!

This place is my go to local sushi restaurant. Its so yummy and the price is average. The sushi rice to fish ratio is really amazing and even their ramen and sushi burrito is delicious. I recommend coming 6 or less people because its always busy and quite smaller, but theyre able to fit bigger parties. For birthday parties they make a little party for you and the lights go off and they sing 😂😂😂 its awesome lol

I knew this was highly rated. But its an old drive thru building. So wasnt expecting that much.Sushi is fresh, prefect temperature, and boy the thick cuts. Didnt look that great but tasted really good. And the sashimi combo comes with real wasabi (frozen), not the chemical paste we normally get. That was impressive.Even the spicy miso ramen was superb. One of the best i have had.Met everyones expectation. Great service. Superb sushi and ramen. And not expensive.Ok rolls are a little on the chunky side. But good value for money.Cannot ask for more. 5 guys, over ordered with beer for under $120!!

The ramen and drinks are tasty. I always get the spicy miso ramen. It never dissapoints. Recently, i tried their mojito and it is fresh and yummy!However, the sushi is ok. I have tried a basic roll, sushi, and the more elaborate rolls and its alright.Also I have been wanting to try their squid/calamari but whenever ive asked its unavailable. Hopefully it will become available soon.

Pretty good value, the staff were all pretty friendly.We ordered a sushi boat, that came with teriyaki beef and chicken, California roll, and dynamite roll, assorted tempura, and gyoza.If I was going to say anything negative, and this is just me being picky its that the batter could be lighter on the tempura, and the teriyaki sauce tasted differently then I was use to.Other than that for around $40. it was a pretty good deal.Give them a shot if you live close by. Would I drive out of my way to go back ? Maybe ??

I have came here a few times for their spicy ramen and it has yet to disappoint. However I wouldnt order the micheladas as theyre hella small good but small. Oh, the garlic edamame is really good to so check that out.I had originally stayed away as they do have a drive through window and that always rubbed me the wrong way. Until one day I had a mean hangover and gave into my laziness. Glad that I did though

Awesome place to eat sushi and or ramen. Started with spicy garlic edamome and spicy tuna with crispy rice. Then finish with the spicy ramen and a tiger roll. Also had an icy cold Sapporo. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.
