Kaiba Japanese Ramen Sushi & Grill - La Verne in La Verne

Been wanting to review this place, finally found some time to do so. This place needs a proper review so people know how awesome it is. IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED THIS PLACE, TRY IT NOW! If you are into Japanese food, fresh sashimi, Ramen, Sushi Rolls, this is one of the best places to have it. I had tried the Monterey Park location, but was so happy that this place opened up nearby. I asked if they are part of the same Chain, and I was told yes, even some of the staff was brought over to get this place started. The Servers and manager were extremely nice and accommodating. Some of the new staff you can tell was new, but was really nice. One of the biggest pros that I can say about this place is the space! I always had to wait so long in Monterey Park, but there is a lot of seating here, even if you have a party of 8.FoodSo many good options, like I said the fish is fresh, and food is delicious. I would recommend the Sashimi Platter, so good with the REAL Wasabi. Heart attack are made with huge Jalepeno, and so much better then all you can eat sushi places. Hungry Man is one of our favorite rolls, and their grand opening special for beer and sake is the cherry on top.Place again is big and clean, the parking lot has plenty of parking. Again wonderful experience, will be back next week!

This place was great. I didn’t even know that they had a grand opening but I’m really glad that we went to check it out. The Ramen was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. I still dream about that amazing broth. The customer service was on point, everyone was super friendly, very helpful and gave us some suggestions on stuff to try. I definitely can’t wait to go back.

Where do I start???First off, William is hands down the best server I have ever experienced in a restaurant! Funny and very attentive! Definitely give this guy a raise!Now the food…My wife and I split an energy roll and WOW! So much flavor and it is a BIG ROLL! Be careful when ordering multiple rolls! Lol I wish I had taken a picture of it but after the first bite we destroyed that roll! Sooo good!The ramen…How the heck are they able to pack so much flavor into their food?!? My wife has the tonkatsu and I had the spicy and both were amazing!Can’t wait to come back with our friends and family! Thanks William!

Food was all around delicious. Staff was very helpful and helped us get the best meal for the best price. They still have $0.99 12oz draft Sapporo!

Was really bummed when Show Ramen left and sold the business. The rolls and ramen were definitely better under the previous owners. I was looking forward to eating Ramen when I visited for the first time with my family. I was really disappointed as the noodles werent chewy like classic ramen. And the broth wasnt anything special. Also we ordered an appetizer that was their version of spicy Jalapeno which was almost a signature appetizer IMO of the other restaurant. And I couldnt finish it. It just lacked the special taste. And even though it was bigger in size, it was a good example of bigger doesnt necessarily mean better. Not sure I will go back anytime soon especially if I have other options. Giving three stars only because the service and atmosphere was decent.

Finally, Kaiba has opened in La Verne too. The sushi rolls here are always fresh, delicious, and served quickly. The servers are friendly as well, making it a perfect place to go with kids. I highly recommend it

We had a bowl of ramen and a plate of sushi rolls. Both were very good! We checked in on Yelp to get the free ice cream, and it was actually really nice and beautifully presented! Our server was superrr friendly and welcoming. And the ramen was ready in probably just 5 minutes or so!

Our server savanna was amazing. Very consistent with service and very professional. Lovely person and worker. The food was delicious. Loved their mango lemonade the most I ask for a To-go cup for it.

Awesome food. Ordered the Dynamite and the Kaiba roll. Both were so good. Love the sliced onions in the Kaiba, gave it an exotic taste. Good, wholesome food 😋

Randomly tried this cute little place and it was a 5/5. Huge portions and they still have a 99cent sake and beer special going on 🍾 service was great
