2024-06-20 03:31:50We ordered plenty of specials there. The toro and uni was good, cant deny that for getting them in a not expensive price though the amount is little. But the ankimo we ordered ruined the whole experience, sorry to say but that tastes horrible that we didnt take photo. Its not fresh and the fishy taste is not tolerable at all.Overall the menu does not worth driving far to try.

2024-04-27 04:03:02The food flavor was not bad, the deep fried calamari was pretty good, sake don with uni was pretty decent, the skewers was just so so, tsukune was too thick and the flavor was too peppery and under seasoned. Probably will try other sushi or deep fried items next time.

2024-06-22 01:03:07Stumbled upon this while looking for izakayas in the area. Got to enjoy it after gymming with my partner. The store itself is narrow with seating thats mostly for pairs. The service was friendly and attentive. We got a chazuke, chirashi bowl, hot sake, and a sushi roll.Chazuke - I would not recommend getting this. There is way too much rice and very little fish. The tea is poured by the server, and you cant add anymore. It just became mostly rice with a bit of tea and barely any fish and toppings. I would not consider a substantial meal, but it could be a nice supplement to your other foods if you just wanted more rice and something warm.Chirashi - I love looking at how different places make their bowls. I wanted a variety of fish, and the presentation and selection here did not disappoint. I usually dont finish a whole bowl all to myself because theres so much stuff. I enjoyed the salmon and tamago. All the fish felt soft and tender. The flower is a nice touch!I cant speak much on the sushi roll since it was my partners but he really enjoyed it.I didnt get to try their skewers and they seemed a bit pricey (as izakayas can be) but I would come back based on this good experience!

2024-04-13 07:47:57Everything was delicious, chefs were true professionals. We just came back from our Japan trip and this place brought us back truly! It’s so nice to be in a izakaya again hearing all the cheers of beer glasses and the staff greetings as we entered. Definitely a gem because the prices were more on the cheaper side in comparison to the rest of the Bay AreaWhat We Ordered: ramen, mango roll, squid (ika) nigiri, octopus wasabi, chicken karaage, miso soup

2024-02-08 03:58:17So glad that we found this gem on a rainy day! Salmon and uni were so fresh and creamy, we got to fulfill our seafood craving.I loved their detail in bringing beer in ice cold cup. Best place to wind down after long day of work :)

2024-02-26 05:56:11This is the first restaurant that I give 5s across the board. The food was amazing. Some of the best dishes that were better than other sushi places were had.The service was amazing. They were always coming to us with water refills and to ensure everything was great! Also my rating is a little biased as I am a huge anime fan. They had one piece and anime OPS/EPS playing the entire time. I really felt like I was in an anime cafe in Japan!

2024-04-13 06:44:27This place is a hidden gem, service is great. One server, Belinda is always such a sweet and helpful person. The sashimi is such good quality, we always love the ramen, the karaage is some of the best we have had in the Bay Area. We’ve been here several times now and I highly recommend everyone to try it.

2024-01-27 08:02:29Was not disappointed, from the miso soup, house salad, gyoza, oyster shooters to the main sushi rolls, everything was delicious. Definitely coming back! We got put on to the sweet mini tomatoes by the staff! Highly recommended… taste like a sweet grape to even out the wasabi! Also ordered mango crunch and Kakushi* roll🔥. Don’t let me forget bout the Sapporo pitcher and large hot sakes! SAKE BOMB! + The complimentary ice cream! Thank you Kakushi Izakaya! See you tomorrow!

2024-02-12 07:14:01Just heard of this new sushi restaurant opening recently. Definitely wanted to try. Came here with friends on a Sunday evening. The restaurant wasnt busy, I am guessing because of the Super Bowl, there is absolutely no other possible good reason why this place isnt packed. I have to say that the sushi tasted really good. We enjoyed every single roll we ordered. We decided to add a bottle of sake - they have a really awesome selection. We got to try a few different kinds and picked the one we liked the best.I highly recommend this place. Service is awesome, and the food tastes amazing. This is my new goto place for sushi.
