This is my favorite and go to place for sushi! The husband and wife are so friendly and provide great service. The food is always delicious. As a vegan I love that they have so many options for me to choose from. I always get the agedashi tofu, caterpillar roll and the avocado mango roll! This place is easily 5 stars.

This is a family owned and operated restaurant. The owners are really nice people and the food is spectacular. I usually go for the sushi options. I particularly love the nigiri, the hand rolls and their creative rolls. However I also really love their Ramen. Sooooo gooood! Ive never had a disappointing item their. They also have a great sake selection.

Some of the best sushi Ive ever had!My 2 girlfriends and I went at 6pm on a Monday night and had no problem getting a socially distanced outside table. There were 2 other parties dining outside while we were there, but there was plenty of space between us, and the server wore a mask the entire time.We split the garlic edamame, Hamachi sashimi, and 3 rolls: the 49er, the Sebastopol, and the M.D.The Hamachi was delicious and fresh, though I thought it strange that it had thin slices of tomato on top. The garlic edamame was salty and covered in lots of soy and minced, charred garlic. The sushi rolls were all very fresh tasting and stuffed with all the great ingredients, not skimpy at all. They also had a ton of toppings and just the right amount of sauce. We surprised ourselves with how fast we devoured them all, and it was just the perfect amount of food to be full, but not stuffed. The service was extremely fast and our server checked on us often, refilling our waters each time, as it was warm out and we ordered spicy rolls.I just found my new favorite sushi spot in Santa Rosa and will definitely be going back!

- Food was average at best. Inaccurate menu descriptions. Be sure to clarify with staffs in case the Devil leads you here. 2/5- Ambience: maybe better during daytime ?? Looks old and depressing.- Service: If berating customer is a sport than they excel at this. Also NOT dog-friendly. Dont scar your furbabies

The tuna in the spicy tuna roll was not good quality. The beef teriyaki was embarrassingly bad. The grilled edamame was great.

Been going to Kamura Sushi for years. Probably my favorite sushi spot in Sonoma County. The food is always delicious and the people really nice. If you like spicy I highly recommend the Santa Rosa, Firefighter and Leddy Park rolls. Their poke bowl is also the best!

My favorite Sushi place in Santa Rosa. Everything always tastes very fresh. I recommend lion king roll. The fried oyster appetizer is the best I have ever had. Its not over cooked and keeps a little rawness too it.

Ate outside on patio. Food as always was delicious. My wife and i get take out here fairly often and havent had anything we didnt like. Although there veggie rolls tend to be just a little over cooked, but still tasty.

Owner work really hard to build a big customer fan base. I was here on a weekday lunch and it was very busy. It has a reputation of very very fresh food. Especially when it comes to sushi. It is very fresh I am glad it survived the pandemic and business is picking up again. Go check out the outdoor dining area it is surrounded grape Vines and down the block are ginkgo trees.

Excellent little sushi place with some delicious sushi. Staff was very attentive and very friendly. They have these little QR codes on the table that you can scan to access their menu so you dont have to touch a physical menu in these more germ sensitive days. Food was brought to the table very promptly and tasted awesome. As soon as the lunch hour place hits this place picks up and is hopping with people. Definitely recommend getting here earlier just in case things get a little crowded later in the lunch hour.

Worse customer service I have experienced. We got there and waitress handled us menu 30 minutes passed and she didn’t took our order. The restaurant only had 2 tables with a total of 4 people. She was just walking near us and ignored us. This is was my first time trying local small restaurant never going back there again.

We are sushi enthusiasts and are very picky,.... I was so surprised with the quality and service.This is officially #1 in Sonoma’s county. Must try!!! The sushi was super fresh and the service isn’t second to none. The owner is definitely putting quality over quantity and you can taste it. The background music was amazing too!!

The Tuna Combo and Hamachi Combo were so delicious! The mochi was not my favorite since it was a bit thick and chalky but the food really made up for it. The wait can vary so expect to wait a bit longer during peak hours but for our party it was definitely worth it.

Wheres the 6th star?If theres a God, they eat at Kamura. Theres just something special about the little restaurant. The atmosphere is uplifting and positive, the customer service is legendary, and I havent even started in the food!!Probably the freshest fish Ive had at any sushi restaurant in Sonoma County, rivaling Osaka.
