My family and I really love to eat. 😂And I ne of the cuisines we enjoy is Greek food!That being said we decided to try this place because of all of the great reviews!We totally agree with that! Everything that we tried was awesome!I’m not just exaggerating! Lol.. We started off with a Greek Salad and it literally was one of the best Greek salads that I’ve ever had! I also got the chicken kebabs and the chicken was cooked perfectly. And it had a lot of meat which made it worth the money because I literally got two servings out of it.My husband got their Beef Kofta which according to him was the best he’s had yet! Every thing was so delicious! Every dish has lots of flavor! We will definitely be back! We can’t wait to try all of their other dishes.

This is the best place to come for delicious mediterranean food! Came with some friends for first time and was not disappointed. The server came by to check in and see if we needed anything. The owner, I think, stopped by our table and asked if everything was good. Yes, lamb Kabob plate, beef Kabob plate and beef shawarma was melt in your mouth, savory, delicious! Loved the hot tea.

Absolutely enjoy the food here. The quality and quantity are in perfect proportion. The only thing I think could be worked on is service.Sometimes, when I order food to-go, they miss simple things like utensils, napkins, and dressings separated for my to-go salad.They are not consistent with offering take-out. Several times, Ive called in the evening 2-3 hours before closing thursday-sunday, and they are not accepting to-go orders.Im not sure if this is because they cant provide fast service, understaffed, or customers lounging for long periods ordering sporadically.My suggestion is to go before 4 pm. Youll get the best food and service.Otherwise, the atmosphere is beautiful. Love the interior, love the bathroom. Will be back. Its a great place to support. Just know that you should go with a little extra time to spare.The average ticket price for two, with fountain drinks and an appetizer, and two kabob plates, including 18-20% tip, was $60-70

This place is amazing, the atmosphere is great and the service is wonderful. The food is always fresh and it doesn’t matter what you order, it’s all delicious. I ordered the chicken shawarma and my boyfriend ordered the lamb shawarma, both amazing and the meat was packed with flavor and very tender. We ordered the baba ganash as an appetizer and let me tell you, it was amazing. Love this place, cute lil hole in the wall place, definitely recommend.

We tried this place for the first time. We ate dinner here. The ambiance was pleasant and classy. Our waiter was very polite, professional, attentive, and helpful. We highly recommend the baba ganoush (eggplant dip). It had a smokey eggplant taste (in my personal opinion the best Ive tasted). We love their wallpaper/ decor-- nice wine display selection in the back. Great place for a date. 😉 We found out they have been open for about 2 years! We never knew they were here until now. They served purified water in a corked glass bottle-- which is nice to know that its not tap. Our waiter also brewed us fresh black tea. (Taste great with half & half) We tried their Sahara beef (taste home cooked), Beef kabob, and Beef Kafta (seasoned ground beef). All were tasty. We will definitely be back.

This is by far the best Lebanese restaurant in the region including Orange County! I have had Lebanese (Middle Eastern) food in many places around the world including Paris where there are many excellent Lebanese restaurants and I can say without hesitation that Kan Zaman ranks among the best. Do no hesitate to book your reservation at this charming restaurant. Every dish we ordered was excellent, portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. Our waitress Alejandra was very helpful and friendly. We will be soon be back with friends.

Great food! Great atmosphere, great service. Our waitress was amazing! It was only her third day on the job, but we wouldve never known had she not mentioned it. Thats how good her service was. It was a week night and dinner time, so got busy, but we never felt the rush. Oh the Castillo wine, paired beautifully! Everything was super fresh, yummy, hot, and super tasty. We were a bit sad that our favorite dessert wasnt available but, none the less, by far one of our favorites, by far! Will definitely be returning here.

Fantastic eating experience! The food is fresh, delicious and satisfying. The flavors are complex and unique for our area. It’s so nice to have a wonderful dining experience available for valley residents. The service (wait staff) is phenomenal. Very attentive to customers needs. From someone thats been around the Middle East and the Mediterranean, the food is very authentic.Attached are photos of several dishes. I had the hummus (which came with fresh baked bread). A lamb based soup, and a Beef Shwarma.The portions were very good for the price. Presentation was on point and everything seasoned delicately.Staff was active and on top of everything.Only thing that bothered me was the Menu, other people were also looking at the menu weirdly.The two page menu was somewhat intimidating and could use some reinventing. No pictures or images, and most the descriptions are similar and dont sound appetizing or appealing in comparison to one another. A menu with images or an image menu would bring the dishes justice.Would overall come again and recommend.

We went here with the family to celebrate our anniversary. The reason we picked it is because of the rave reviews already listed and they did not disappoint. We were a party of 10, and I called 2 hours in advance and they allowed me to make a reservation. When we arrived the table was set and the waitress was waiting there for us. We sat down and she immediately took our drink order. They only have bottles sodas, wine, beer and water to offer. The water came in a glass jug and was delicious. We ordered a little bit of everything to try. Appetizers: red hummus, baba ghanoush, dolma, falafel, and pita bites. Everything was delicious, it was hard to pick a favorite. For the entries we ordered: beef shawerma, lamb shawerma, chicken shawerma, chicken barb kabob, beef barb kabob, shrimp kabob, and eggplant mussuka. All dishes were incredibly tasty and well done. They all came with a salad which was flavorful as well. We all shared our dishes so we got a chance to try several items on the menu. Im glad we chose here to celebrate our love over delicious food and family environment. We will definitely be back on a more regular basis!

When walking in to this restaurant you are welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere with the sounds of instrumental music being played. The feel is that you are in a very upscale establishment. The staff is all dressed to follow in white button up shirts and black pants and shoes with a white apron going from waist down.We ordered the beef shawarma and the lamb shawarma platters.We were served our lemonades in elegant wine style glasses.We were brought a cutting board that contained a pickled/marinated chopped olive blend and some other pepper chopped blend along with some of the best pita bread Ive had in a long time. The bread was perfectly toasted on the outside and warm and soft on the inside.Both platters were ordered with the villagers salad and basmati rice.The salads were dressed perfectly for each bite. And had plenty of everything.The rice was cooked so that it wasnt too hard or too soft and contained a little flavor in each bite as to not over shadow the lamb or beef shawarma. It did have some clumping going on, but it was still tender and delicate as rice should be.The lamb is tender and juicy and seasoned well. As was the beef.This place definitely leaves you satisfied and full.I highly recommend this restaurant and when you come take the time to look around at all the little touches in the decor that transport you away from Murrieta and into an emersive experience. Even the lighting is beautiful and worth taking the time to admire.

I think they are the owners, top-notch customer service! Very helpful with all my questions about the food. It tastes like they are all made here and not store-bought. The chicken shwarma (its what I ordered) was excellent! It is counter service. However, the owner came out from around the counter and served me with my food instead of just telling me the food is ready. That is excellent customer service! I observed that they go to the counter immediately when other guests came in the door and greeted and made eye contact with all the guests. They were constantly cleaning when the place didnt have guests on the counter to order. There are no funny smell from the dining area. Also, the have an A rating from the Department of Public Health. The price is reasonable in comparison to other Shwarma places Ive tried. Dont go wasting your money with other places. Come eat here. I am a happy customer!

We found this hidden gem on a day trip to the area. It is located in a strip mall and run by a warm Jordanian family.The atmosphere was inviting, only one server but she easily handled the whole place (a daughter?) and the owner circled around, checking in on all the tables.We ordered baba ganoush, lamb and chicken shawarma. This place is not like any other Mediterranean restaurant in the area. My expectations have been blown away! Every aspect of our visit was absolutely perfect. Kan Zaman is the perfect date night spot, as the ambience is so romantic and warm. The food was absolutely to die for. The red hummus (red chili) had the perfect amount of spice and kick and the beef shawarma was so savory and delectable. The food literally made us feel happy. this is true comfort food! I just had lunch with my mom and just left about 30 mins ago actually 🤣 (the reservation was at 130pm) and the appetizers was great (I personally had the sautéed mushrooms (which was amazing)!! Me and my mom had the same dish (thats a first time doing that) which was the Lamb Shaverma (I probably didnt spell it right but the pics will show you) that came with rice and a salad. One of the best Mediterranean food in the area! We ordered the green Chile hummus and pita to start and it may have been the best hummus we have ever tried😋 The diced green Chiles gave the hummus a fresh soft heat. My main dish, the beef shish kabob was perfectly marinated and juicy. And I was happy to find that they had desserts other than baklava (even though I love baklava❤). We ordered the Warbat and Mediterranean pudding, but the show stopper was the Warbat (sweet cream sandwiched between Philo dough baked and topped with pistachios and honey). We will be coming back!

I had 2 horrible experiences with the service. Once for takeout to bring my mother while visiting her. And again today, visiting her again and she was in the mood for Persian food. She came before and her server used to work at King Kabob in Elsinore. Unfortunately today, it was the same rude (for no reason) server that helped my girlfriend out last time we were here. I dont understand why she works here or how and why the owners would allow this. It cant just be us, because we were pleasant until we asked for a refund after an over hour wait to get food and nothing but rude responses to the 3 times we asked in the over 1 hour wait. That is not pestering in my opinion and after all, we still didnt get our food. From entry to refund it took us over one hour and 31 minutes and still didnt eat until we went a few doors down for BBQ - the sweetest family run joint by the way.

Update 4/17: I am updating this to a 4 star as the owner reached out and made it right.My partner and I dined at your restaurant on 4/1 between 3:44 and 6:35 PM and our server was Mariam. In addition to messing up my partners order, Mariam totally ignored us after our meal was served.Mariam had several follow ups with the other guests while ignoring us. I tried several times to get her attention, but to avail. I literally had to walk up to her for her to even acknowledge me. I also had to request a copy of my credit card receipt, even though I could observe that she provided the other guests with the same. This is highly unusual for a credit card transaction, as even a fast food restaurant provides a copy to their patrons without them having to ask. And even when she finally provided a receipt, it was not a copy of the credit card receipt.I also could not help but notice that we were the only guests of color in the restaurant at the time. This is clearly a case of racial bias and this is not how any patron should be treated by this or any business that operates in the public domain. It is a shame that people of color still have to deal with this kind of attitude in the 21st century. If it were not for the hardworking folks in the back, I would have never left a tip. Mariam did not deserve a tip and is very bad for business.

What a surprise experience in the middle of a strip mall!! The server, Hailey, was so nice and very helpful.We selected a Bordeaux to go with our meal and ordered Lamb Shank with Eggplan Mussaka. The flavors were unique and very rich and flavorful. DELICIOUS!! The lamb was falling off the bone and yet still very juicy. We also got the Gyros Kabob, which was also very delicious. The pictures of the restaurant are a LITTLE deceiving in that it makes the restaurant look huge, but its a smaller than I originally. That does NOT take away from how amazing this restaurant really is. The moment you walk in you are greeting with amazing smells and warmth from the food being cooked. The baba ghanoush, red hummus, hummus, tzatziki, and pita bread were a great way to start the meal. I had the chefs special with lamb and it was by far the best Mediterranean dish I have ever had. Excellent food and service. The cheifs are happy to be there and take pride in their food. The servers are friendly and professional. We came at 5:00 PM with 4, 2 adults and 2 kids under 5. We were able to order some plain pasts for the kids off menu. They made sure to get it correct. My 1 year old ended up eating everything we ordered, including the salad. Before I get into my experience, I want to mention that I dont give out five stars easily or often. That said...I entered with my family, my wife and two sons, expecting to sit down and dine in. Do not ask, just come in. Food is excellent, so many restaurants open with bad food and service, here we were greeted by waitress and the owner, food arrived HOT and tasty, ask for the lamb dishes it will make you come back for more!

Needless to say it was not busy,...Covid restrictions are just allowing them to open....food and wine was great and service was a delight...
