By using the Eye of the Thai-ger, I was able to spot this place in a remote shopping Plaza, and all I can say is: This place is en-Thai-rely awesome. The Pad Thai was the perfect mix of sweet and savory. The Thai Tea with boba matched that of any high-tier boba shop. The Chicken Sate with Peanut Sauce is unmissable and the Mango Salad is refreshing, filling and delicious. Truly an authentic Thai experience. The service is also top notch. The server was kind, nice and attentive at all times and we got our food faster than it would normally take in other restaurants. Whether youre trying to propose to your girlfriend and Thai the knot, or youre trying to go to a fancy dinner with you boss while wearing suit and Thai, this place is 100% recommended for your appe-Thai-zing cravings of delicious Thai food. Allow its allure and en-Thai-zing dishes to pull you in.

Excellent Thai food. I recommend the Tom Yum Koong (Hot and Sour Shrimp) soup. Order all of their dishes with mild spice. If you ask for medium spice, it will be spicier than your average hot wing. The green curry fried rice is also excellent with just a hint of curry. But I would ask for the fried rice to have no eggplant.

I was sad that the previous Thai restaurant closed, but very happy that this new one opened. My favorite is the tom yum shrimp soup. I love to that its served in the hot pot with the burner at the bottom. I asked for some fried combination 🍚 rice to go and impressed for the neat to go container. The Thai tea is the bomb.

I ordered to go for their lunc special. We had Pad See Ew with tofu and spicy eggplant with tofu. The lunch special came with white rice and a side salad. $8.95 for each. Price is acceptable. Portion is OK. Food taste so so. The Pad See Ew lack of the smoky flavor from the wok.

This was my first time coming here and perhaps my last. I came in with a few friends (3 of us total), and we all ordered the mango and sweet rice. There were only 4 other people dining, and it seemed that they had already had some sort of service. We ordered our food and then waited 20 minutes for someone to ask us if we wanted water, and then it took another 20 to get it. Then, finally, after about an hour of waiting, we got our mango and sweet rice, which was very good, but having to wait that long when the establishment was not busy was mildly infuriating. There was no sincere apology or discount or something to make up for that wait. It felt like they wanted us gone. It was very disappointing to experience this as I had such high hopes.

Ordered curry expecting to get rice same as every other Thai restaurant was told upon arrival at pick up that it is not included and would cost extra. Very disappointed to be forced to pay for something that should be included in the meal.

This place was awesome! I showed up very close to closing which I hate to do, but they were so kind and inviting anyway! The server was very helpful and I could feel the love in the place. The food was also very good! I got the hot noodles 🍜 because I was craving that all day (like most days) and they didn’t disappoint! I am definitely going back.

This place no joke has the best curry I have even eaten! Cannot emphasize enough that the explosion of flavor will take you to another planet. I was floored that I’ve lived in OC for years and have never been to this place. We got the yellow tofu curry (phenomenal) and chicken pad Thai (also fantastic) to go. Further, the gentleman that helped me when I picked up my food was so nice! Something happened and my order didn’t go through (no big deal) and they pushed it to the front and had it ready for me so quickly, I really appreciated it. Do not miss this place!!!! I will be back to dine in sometime very soon to try more of their menu :)

Best Thai food I have eaten in California, the mango shrimp salad was very refreshing and the three different curry yellow, red and green were the tastiest I have ever eaten. All three curries were very well cooked, the white chicken meat was tender and the curries are so flavorful to the palate 😛, Yummy!!! This was my first time there and I am wowed!

Wanted to like this place but the Pad Thai was terrible! It was a soggy and oily and just a gross mess. The texture was all wrong and the flavors bland. It was a to-go order so I understand there may be some condensation but theres no excuse for the noodles to just melt into this weird goop considering it was only a 7 minute drive to home. Extremely disappointed with my dish.My wife got the Tom Yum udon noodle soup and that was delicious. Flavors were great and there were tons of shrimp. But that Pad Thai, yikes, grossest thing Ive eaten in a while. For a Thai restaurant not having good (or at the very least, decent) Pad Thai, thats just criminal.

The absolute worst crab Rangoon I have ever had anywhere. The dough around the stuffing was still raw and the tips were the only cooked part. Didn’t taste any crab in them. Steer clear of this item. Awful!

I cant wait to eat here again. The Curry Trio was really convenient. Crispy Basil Pork ewww sooo good! Pad Thai was perfectly cooked. I made the mistake of eating the Pad Thai last so the flavor strength was corrupted by the other dishes. I did take off one star for pricing/portion. If your going to charge top dollar the portions should reflect the prices. With a portion increase this place would be a solid 5 stars! A shout out to our waitress, we never had an empty water glass...she got skills!

I just ate here for the first time! Omg it was insanely delicious and I’m super picky!! I eat at 5 star restaurants mostly and this Garlic Pepper chicken with broccoli and carrots was so yummy I inhaled it!!! Get chili paste and white rice and enjoy!!!

Authentic and fresh food! Some of the best Thai food around, if not the best. The eggplant was so tender, the coconut curry was pleasingly flavorful! No greasiness in their pad Thai like other places. Our kids even loved the food, which is a first! Wont hesitate to get food from here!

Love at first bite! The 2 different dinner orders were absolutely bursting with flavors-ranging from citrusy to garlic, definitely taste-buds awakening for me. Truthfully, I would give it 5 stars just for flavors alone; except, as am salavating and prep to devour, I noticed the utensils were missing. Am rooting for the owner aldeady because I know he/she will read this and immediately ensures this minor matter is avoided. It is an easy miss. Still hungry? It was my first time at this restaurant. It was quiet and small. Service was polite, prompt and efficient.Both my dining guest and myself really enjoyed our food selections. I decided to give this new place a try because I had gone to the old Thai spot previous to this one. Im not sure where all these great reviews are all coming from because my experience was definitely not the same. I ordered only a few standard dishes for take out and received the driest and blandest Pad Thai and the Red curry was very thin like a soup and so sweet. We also ordered the golden packets as an appetizer and was very disappointed. The ground chicken filling was dry and flavorless. I dont know who the cook was that day but the food was made with no love at all and kind of sadly thrown together. Overall very disappointing and not sure if I want to try this place again.

Very good Thai food, pleasant ambience and good service. Mom got the ribeye and I got softshell crab with red curry. The steak was tender and the crab with tasty. Though it was deep fried, it didnt leave me feeling gross. Definitely coming back here again!

This restaurant met mine and my spouses needs, being one of the few places to be open for indoor dining! They did not push the narrative of suppressing our oxygen levels causing fungus in our lungs with masks. The food was excellent, perfect temperature, and served very quickly. Tik and Oum displayed excellent customer service. They were so kind and personable. We had a wonderful time in the midst of all that is going on in the world Kanok Thai Bistro is a 5 star!

Staff are very nice at Kanok Bistro and gave us drinks as our order was taking some time. We ordered the stuffed chicken wings, hot sour soup, pad Thai and drunken noodles. Starting with the good, the drunken noodles were tasty and light but with deep flavour. The soup was good (though we had to add lime, which didnt come with the order). The stuffed chicken wings were fine, but lacked much flavour and ultimately a bit disappointing. The really sad thing was the pad thai. Just one block of rather congealed noodles, with some bean sprouts thrown on top. No peanuts, no lime, not much flavour. Id only come back here for the drunken noodles but thats it.

So... the place Canok is a Thai restaurant in a commercial center.What we ate - Vietnamese roll with shrimp, shrimp and broccoli, tom yum soup with chicken, steamed rice, two Diet Cokes.Price about 55 dollars with service.The good - the truth is that the food was good, we went in without planning and without expectations, it was empty at first and then filled with both deliveries and seating.The bad - the place is arranged in a crowded and strange way, the cleanliness of the public areas near the warehouse could be better.The ugly - the Thai girl who chased you in Copenhagen on a trip after the army.In conclusion - not bad at all for the price.
