Food was good. The fish tasted fresh, miso sea bass had lots of good unami flavor. The rib eye steak was quite good, although it felt like something you could get at any nice steakhouse and not very Japanese inspired. The green tea tiramisu was fantastic.

First time we were there with friends, the four of us tries 12 appetizers, a perfect dinner and perfect way to test the food and menu. We were very happy and satisfied, and have gone back several times since including celebrations of birthday, graduation, and anniversary. The combination of high quality food, friendly staff, attentive service, and warm ambience makes Kaori an ideal dining venue for all occasions. Highly recommended!

Ive had lunch and dinner here and both times the food was exceptional. I wish the portions were a little bigger but they nailed the taste. I dont think the dinner entrees are worth it but the appetizers were great. The lunch bento box was very good and worth the splurge. The tonkatsu was cooked perfectly and the sides had a good variety. Service can be a bit slow even though the restaurant is empty.

Friendly service, great small bites and mains, interesting cocktails. Favorite items of the night were the ikura potato, seared chuu-toro, and the miso black cod (shown). My wife and I had a great dinner service and I look forward to trying more of the menu, especially their lunch only items.

My partner and I came to Kaori for a special dinner, and we both must say that the food was very unique and delicious! We ordered the Ika Shio Koji (the wasabi aioli is to die for!), their famous Ikura Potato (never had anything like it must-try), cauliflower volcano (very worth the value; super flavorful!), gin walnut prawns (although it was only 3 pieces, they were most plump prawns we have ever seen), Yuan Salmon (amazing combination of flavor; on the sweet side), and for desert, the Green Tea Tiramesu (very creamy and well put together) and the Hojicha Panna Cotta (MUST GET DESERT I REPEAT MUST GET). The Panna Cotta was the best thing we ever had and we would definitely come back again so for the Panna cotta! Our server, Alex (I don’t quite remember their name it’s been awhile and I have terrible memory), was an absolute rockstar. Big kudos to them for their recommendations and service that night!

This restaurant is an absolute hit! From service to flavors, and the specialty cocktails our table of six went home very pleased on a Thursday night👏🏻We chose to do a family style with all of the dishes because it was too hard to decide on one thing to have— our waitress took our drink orders, gave us time to decide for appetizers and even though we ordered at least five of those options it came staggered so we weren’t rushed to have all of it at once. Same went for the few entrees we decided on, it gave us all time to try everything while it was hot (we didn’t have to tell her do this, but happy she knew what she was doing!)When I say everything was so good and not just “picture” good; we were continually impressed through the night!! Everything cooked and flavorful but nothing overpowered another.. I also tried the blossom water from the nonalcoholics and is was absolutely refreshing! All the others at the table having cocktails tried several out, even had trouble deciding and asked for recs which all turned out very memorable:)They also accommodated my salmon to be unseared without any problems👍🏼

Came on a Thursday night for a birthday dinner. It was a bit empty as expected for a higher $$$ restaurant. Had a reservation on Open Table and our server, Biew(Excellent, btw) was ready to welcome us.Food: Was very satisfied. Had the Rib-eye(medium rare, cooked perfectly), cauliflower volcano, ikura potato(this was surprisingly yummy), Sea bream. All dishes were superb!Drink: Had a complimentary taste of a sparkling wine - forgot the name of it. Also got the Kaori, along with a non-alcoholic bev. Theyre drinks, and theyre made well.Dessert: Green tea tiramisu with a pleasant happy birthday message and candle. Yum. Nothing super special as its a sweet treat but by no means disappointing. Will definitely be bringing in others for a nice meal in the future!

This place is absolutely fantastic. When I saw “Asian fusion” I wasn’t expecting an out of this world fine dining experience on a random Thursday evening. Service was perfect. Each dish was creative, beautiful, and delicious. What a gem, highly recommend.

Came here Friday night for my birthday celebration! The host was so nice and he offered me a complimentary treat for my birthday and let us choose which table to sit at. It wasnt busy at 6 but by 7, the restaurant was full.We ordered small plates to share and everything was fresh and tasty. Favorites were the ebi ball, takoyaki, cauliflower volcano, and Japanese garden salad. We will definitely be back again to try the entrees and lunch! The drinks were great as well
