Be CAREFUL eating here! Worst experience of my life! First time eating here and I found a COCKROACH in my food! They had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to receive a new plate instead of a full refund! Ummmmm no! I want my money back! I will never eat here again or recommend anyone eating here!

The restaurant is in a big shopping center, theres a lot of parking, but it can fill up.Service isnt great; no greeting or thank you. The food is pretty good, the portions are large...bring your appetite. I had the pineapple chicken, but there was only one piece of pineapple. The price is good for the amount of food.Their dining area is cozy. There are some tables outside, but the tables in the shade get filled up.

Food was good, serving size was great. The jalepeno chicken was spicy but the meat was a little chunky and hard. Orange chicken was very similar to panda. Beef amd Broccoli was good. First time trying wonton soup, and I didnt like it. The wontons were not that good, but the shrimp and chicken in it were great. Soup was super filled though, lots of cabbage and meat. Beef and broccoli was the best part. Better then most, but by far not the best. Would try again but order different things.

I come here all the time and the food is never disappointing. The food always has massive portions. My go to is Chow Mein, with double portions of BBQ Pork. Then I get Sweet and Sour on the side to dip in.

A rated restaurant. I order orange chicken beef broccoli and chow mein. Came out close to $9. The chow mein I give it a three stars it was not that tasteful but was still good. Beef broccoli also give it a three stars. It was good but little bit too chewy for me. Orange chicken I give it four stars it was really good and Im wanting to come back again for that.

Its really easy to find and the parking is a breeze. The place looks very clean and sanitary, you can tell they spend time with hygiene. The food is very average, most of the entrees are good but some are a bit bland. I avoid the fried rice all together, 2/10. The best part of this place is they serve you hefty portions, they really pack it in there and for an incredibly affordable price! I can get a 3 entree combo for around 12 bucks. The only reason why I put three stars is because the food is just not as good as I would expect for being located in Downey Landing. I have a hunch you might be able to find better tasting Chinese food in some of the surrounding mom and pop shops in the area. Ill definitely be on the look-out.

Disgusting. This place used to be pretty good. I went today and the food was embarrassingly disgusting. The chow mein had a play dough flavor. I wish I was joking. The orange chicken tasted rancid as if the chicken had gone bad. The cream cheese wontons are filled with some sort of potato salad. The egg rolls were terrible as well. How do you mess up egg rolls? Lol I don’t know if they’re under new management or have new cooks but I used to go here often and I don’t think I’ll ever eat here again after today. Everything was an absolute mess of a meal. Embarrassing to even serve it to people. Nothing I got was even half decent to chew and swallow. I spat my food back into the tray and threw it in the trash. I don’t know what the hell is going on here but it’s so sad to see this place sink so low. If you want to have one of the worst meals of your life, eat here. Honestly, frozen boxed Chinese food would’ve been leagues better than this garbage. I’d give it 0 stars if I could.

01/16/2023 @1819Im a logistics worker and I came to order my lunch and my two co-workers lunch.Martha assist me with my order. This was my first and last time here.When I asked questions about how their combos were she caught an attitude. This is the first Chinese spot Ive been to thats not in the hood. I will continue to go to the hood.The food was dry and burnt! They didnt give any soy sauce. Orange chicken was so soggy. My Broccoli was the only item on point.I dont have anything positive to say. Im done.

Before you read the rest.. the food isnt bad, its good food. Not very pricy considering the huge portions they give you. However...They silently charge you extra on most purchase you will make. I used to come here all the time until I started checking my receipts. Last 4 times I went there I was charged $1.50 extra for Kung Pao Shrimp. Not a single time was I notified it would cost extra. It doesnt say it anywhere in the store either. For the per-entre menu* its even the same price as the other entries.I learned from my mistake, so next time I came I just got 50/50 fried rice&chow mein with orange chicken. I was charged 50¢ extra for the chow mein. It all shows as one charge on the receipt to so they dont break it down. I had to ask why I was charged extra. Keep in mind it doesnt say anywhere that they charge extra and nobody told me. Also, who charges extra for chow mein... The lady said its because the employees are new but Ive been coming here for months, oblivious of the extra charges. They need to have it marked down.

This is THE Chinese food takout place in Downey).4 stars only because recently did the workers have an issue with the breaker not supplying power to heat food. I work around the area and let me say those reviews are so wrong. Food here is bomb and they STACK your plate. They dont skimp you out with food, its delicious and affordable. Yeah its a little greasy but DUH its fast food. Had to write this review for all those picky food eaters lame reviews. Dont be mislead this place is a great spot. Another big plus great customer service and always quick.

The restaurant looks good, the service was good, i order General tso chicken, the taste of the sauce was delicious, but the chicken was disgusting because the breading was soggy with very small piece of chicken, it felt like eating the skin of the chicken; the fry rice is ok, it has a flour flavor to it.I havent try any other entrees, overall its ok, i will give another try.

I just want to start off by saying staffs attitude is phenomenal. You enter the restaurant, and automatically you feel like your depression, rage, and hunger is thrown out the window. The best part about this restaurant are their prices, and the amount of food they serve you (by the way sometimes I can eat off the same plate for a whole week and still not finish it 😇). I just want to say thank you to Danny for the great management 🙌🏻. Thank you to Cheo, or I believe his name is Jeo. This guy is probably the most positive and funniest guy. He never displays negativity, and always makes sure to give the best customer service. Last time he was so nice, I had to leave him a $100 tip. All other workers are great as well. ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE ( not really a big deal but somewhat yeah) Last time I was using the restroom ( number 2 ) and some dude opened the RESTROOM DOOR. By the way I locked the door, but FOR SOME REASON THE DOOR LOCK DOES NOT WORK!!! I felt so intimidated. Overall recommend this place. Would have gave a 5 star review, but I still kind of feel stressed and weird about the incident that happened there.

Just popped in to see what they got then KAREN and her GORGEOUS eyes reeled me in. The price was dirt cheap. Got Orange Chicken and BBQ Pork and it was enough to feed a damn village of dwarfs for $7!!!! Sat down. Said a prayer. Took a bite and SURPRISE it was actually pretty good. Great food with HUGE portions per plate, and a really friendly staff. Ive read other reviews about the orange chicken sometimes tasting like fish, and that is true. But Im assuming its just one of the ingredients they use for it, and therefore shouldnt detract from how good this place is. Also, try the thai boba!

Although I like Chinese food I would never go back to this place. The workers on the line didnt care about cross contamination at all. To top it off the rice was very mushy and tasted disgusting and the orange chicken was gross as well. An hour after eating I felt very sick. Not worth it all. Save your $$$ and go somewhere else!

I never tried the food, while waiting in line with many people and as I watched the servers piling the food on high it was a beautiful thing. Then it was my turn and the server gave me small spoons of food, I thought it was a joke at first and was expecting cameras to jump out and yell JUST KIDDING. I could not believe it so I asked the server if she could spare one or two pieces of broccoli to my dish. the server gave a resounding no. I said goodbye and walked out.

Very bad experience, I ordered shrimp with vegetables and they served me 4 shrimp and 15 chiles, Chilean kaopound barely 6 pieces of chicken and 14 pieces of ginger with noddle and I paid 11.00 dollars. There is no better Chinese food restaurant like chainis de light on Lankershim and Oxnard, the best of the best.
