Great food! Great atmosphere! Friendly staff! The Volcano Ramen was medium spicy and a lot of flavor! Everything is so fresh and you can tell the food is made with great care! The California Dog be wild- I definitely recommend it!

The handroll is amazing! The fillings are so flavorful. Really good rice to filling ratio! Going back to try the ramen as everyone in the restaurant said it was amazing

AMAZING FOOD & Service!!! Sitting at their cozy sushi bar, you meet the nicest people too! Their Lunch special is a real bargain, IF you can’t eat there, definitely get it to go! WORTH every penny! Lobster roll, Yubu Bulgogi were so good, we had to order more. IF you’re in the mood for sashimi, try the Carpaccio, our new friends raved about that one! And the “Volcano” ramen, we always take home for later, is the best. Karai offers something for whatever your mood & tastebuds are craving! And Rodeo 39 has such a cool vibe, even has an Arcade with pinball for 2 quarters! Make this your “Date night” place — but start at 3, so you can get the lunch special 😉

Best new spot at Rodeo 39!! I was ecstatic to see this new hand roll sushi bar when visiting with my friend the other day. We went around noon on a Sunday, and there was barely anyone else, so we were able to get seated at the wraparound sushi bar immediately. We ordered 3 rolls each, and I got the crab, toro, and Karai, while my friend ordered the salmon, tuna, and Karai. The hand rolls tasted incredible and were packed with flavor, and they were a good portion size for the price. There are also appetizers and ramen options on the menu if you want a variety!This place is my new favourite at Rodeo 39. It was a much needed addition in Orange County, and its wayyy better than its competitor, ROL Hand Bar, in terms of quality, price, and experience. Staff at Karai are very welcoming and attentive, and the environment is clean, bright, and comfortable. I cant wait to come back and hope others discover this gem too!

My food was delicious. They have a special seasoning if you ask for it. I ate gyoza and sprinkled the seasoning in my sauce.

Randomly checked this spot out with a friend on a whim since we were craving some type of sushi. The prices were decent, so why? The Cinco is at $25 for 5 hand rolls. Ive had my share of Kazunori and Rol, so its not quite up there with them, but still good enough. My favorite bites were the yellowtail and the toro hand rolls. We also had the crispy rice with spicy tuna, which was very filling. Our service was pretty quick. Theres bar seating available. Recommended for a quick bite for a party of 2.

What a fantastic find. We stumbled upon this place after walking through Rodeo 39 and were so glad we did. The fish was the freshest Ive ever had; the sauces and combinations were perfect. The service was impeccable, friendly and inviting. I am coming back for more.

The California dog has imitation crab, avocado and sauce tucked inside rice that has been rolled into Panko and fried. It is a yummy variation on the CA roll. This restaurant is inside Rodeo 39 (basically a food court with a little shopping).

Good ramen, and I dont like habd roll bar, but maybe you like..lets try it
