One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to in Orange County! The food is rich, authentic, filling, and wonderfully flavorful, the staff and service are speedy and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is very alluring, comforting, and ambient. 10/10 would recommend coming here! Visiting from Houston, and was looking for Indian food in Yorba Linda. Stumbled upon this gem. Very nice ambiance, decor, and the food was delicious and came out quick. Had the ginger chicken kabob, saag paneer, olive kulcha, lachha paratha, mango lassi. Good portions, so Im taking half of it to my hotel to microwave and enjoy later. My server Vishal was very helpful and attentive.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Karma, the Indian restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing! Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and spices. The quality and taste were top-notch. Stopped by for a late lunch after work and was warmly greeted by staff member Ash who recommended a delicious veggie masala dish. Paired it with garlic naan and various dips and chutneys and this girl left very full and happy. Thank you for the wonderful service and I’ll be back for the weekend brunch buffet!

Love the Karma Lounge. We usually order to go, but we dined in, great service, from Vishal. He was very attentive and very nice. As usual the food was delicious. We ordered one appetizer (samosa), one entree (chicken Tikka masala), which comes with rice and an order of garlic naan.. all delicious and a lot of food! We had leftovers. The best Indian restaurant, if youve never been, give it a try!!

Food is good! We had papad paneer roll and samosa. I personally think samosa was very good! Their malai kofta ball was okay but the gravy was nice and sweet. We also enjoyed kadai paneer.Our server was Vishal and he did a good job of recommending good food options for vegetarians. Liked the service. Their Mumbai mule drink is good too! Ambience is pretty good too, not too loud music . Good to have conversations.

What can you say about Karma? The place is just spectacular. The food options from traditional, vegan, and off menu has never disappointed. The owner, Trupti, is the epitome of wonderfully kind. She always spoils us when we eat there. Vishal is an awesome host and waiter. Always has great suggestions and never rushed us along. Reminds me of the relaxed dining in Europe. This is the only Indian food we go to now.

I have been coming to this restaurant for 4 years now, the food is 10/10, the service is 10/10. I have tried all kinds of indian cuisines and foods all over OC/LA, but this is #1! I live in Yorba Linda/ Anaheim Hills area and this is my go to. The owners are amazing, the waiters, helpers, and workers names Fernando, Alex, and Vishal are great people, they help us every time, very friendly and welcoming. Give them a try you will not regret it. BUTTER CHICKEN is 10/10 and Garlic Naan!

On GrubHub, this place is called Health Cafe. The samosas were delicious. The Biryani - below average.I tried this place first time from GrubHub due to a promotion. I was very excited because I’m a huge fan of biryanis and there’s not that many places that can do it correctly. But alas, this is just another one that needs a lot of work in making the recipe go from just fried rice and vegetables to a truly authentic Biryani.However, on the plus side, the samosas here were actually quite delicious. They were not overly fried. And the stuffing inside was real potatoes cooked to perfection.So overall it has potential. Maybe I just had high expectations.

We went on Mothers day and had their buffet. The food was pretty good actually . It seemed like they didnt have enough waiters/ waitress because our dirty dishes sat for a while at our table and at tales which were empty, & we had to wait for drink refills ( the drinks were included with the buffet). Also I am handicapped with a walker and they had the buffet in a crowded area far from where we were sister my husband had to go and get food for me and bring it back. I was pleasantly surprised that some of the dishes were not overly spicy.

Food is always excellent at Karma Lounge! In general though, it’s more spicy than most Indian restaurants so if you can’t take the heat you can always ask them to make it full flavor but less hot. I love spicy, but I have to ask for less hot for food I will share with the kids. Fernando our waiter has great service and great attitude.

Karma is leagues above just about any place in Yorba Linda and we come here again and again.I recommend dining in as the space is very nice with plenty of space, friendly for families and groups as well.The service we got from Vishal and Renon was the best. Renon recommended the okra and it was really nice. We also love any of the paneer options, the rice is perfect, great bread, and tender chicken, the saag especially.

We usually get Karma Lounge to go, but weve heard about how great the atmosphere is, so we went in and had an incredible experience. They are so welcoming and have great recommendations. The butter chicken is seriously to die for. I could drink the sauce if it was socially acceptable. Sides and dessert are all so good as well. Late night hours on the weekends are great!

This review is long overdue. We enjoy Indian food and tried Karma Lounge about a year ago. Weve been coming here once or twice a month since. The traditional dishes are excellent and they have a full bar. The staff is always friendly and attentive. We know each other by name now. Traditional dishes are made to their diners spice preferences (mild, medium, hot etc.). Also, the restaurant can accommodate large parties for special events. We highly recommend Karma Lounge

Such an awful experience. The first time we went here, we were the only customers and yet it took about 1.5 hours to bring out our food. The waiting staff was unprofessional and never apologized for the slow service. The second time we ordered take out (by placing a phone call) and we placed the order with a waiter. When we went to the restaurant to pick up the food, they didn’t have the order ready because they claimed they never got the order (even after I’d confirmed that the phone # I had used to place the order is the same as the restaurant’s phone #. Super disorganized staff. Don’t waste your time and money.

Love Karma lounge. I have high standards having grown up in UK where for years Indian curry was the most eaten food type. Although to my taste their chicken tikka masala is not as good as Ive had elsewhere, their chicken curry and Rogan Josh is really good. Go for slightly lower spice levels than youd typically ask for US currys..... they cook slightly h8gh spice levels, but tons of flavor.

Being from East Coast I was blown away by the delicious food, hospitality of Trupti & her staff and ambiance. We hosted a surprise 50th for my sister. Liked the lunch buffet option and place is more hygienic/modern feelling than other places ive been. Lunch is $15 until i believe 2pm Or 230pm. Very casual when we strolled in. Theyve got about 6 different curries lined up, and while its a small corner they have offered. Its still a great lunch meal.Nothing special popped out to me other than the atmosphere, foods just as good as any other place. They do offer some candied fennel seeds at the end if you wish to clean your pallet. Find those near the front of the place. Oh and that if you have your windows down as youre driving in, you can smell out where this restaurant is haha. Its a good thing!

Looking at the high ratings, my family went to visit this restaurant for the first time.The ambiance and service are good. However, the food is not up to the mark. For appetizers, we ordered Veg Pakora and Kababs.The Pakoras tastes like they have been fried again to make it crispy.The veg kabab was bland . We also ordered mutton Kabab, which looked fancy. However, the thr kabab was dry, chewy, and had 0 flavors. Our server was informed about the same and was kind enough to get us a new one with some spices added, but the kababs were still the sameIt made no difference .For the main course, we ordered dal makhani and paneer dishDal makhani was made out of green mung dal and not whole black lentils. They do have gluten free and allergy options, but because food is usually brought out buffet style, it can be a little tricky finding all that necessary info.

The servers and staff are not very friendly or welcoming. This was our first visit to Karma Lounge so we were excited to try the food and check out the restaurant. We ordered an appetizer and cocktails, which were very good. The main dishes were fair. Our servers didnt offer suggestions, were very slow, and seemed bored and almost annoyed. We were hoping for a fun, new experience but that was not the case.

Very attentive staff, thoroughly explain anything you ask about, so welcoming and genuinely happy to greet and seat you. The décor is actually very interesting as there are small stories behind the art pieces they have on display. The food was perfect and the price was well and justified. Taking anything to go? We just tried Karma Lounge for the first time and it was delicious. The first time is always a little iffy because we werent sure what to order but i really liked that the menu was clear on what was vegan & vegetarian and i liked how the waiter answered questions and was knowledgeable about the food and menu items. Service a little slow on Christmas Eve; apparently they had many takeout orders. But our server was very pleasant and the restaurant is large, with nice decor, and has booths and tables. First visit today! My husband and I decided to check it out for a lunch together. We were very pleased by the atmosphere and the price for the lunch buffet was only $11.99. There were several vegetarian dishes and also chicken and goat dishes as well. Choice of naan and roti breads made fresh to order. The service was good...my husband wanted something other than water and had to ask what else they offered other than water...the place is 3 months new and serves beer and wine but says by December 2018 they expect to have their liquor license as well for a full bar for those interested. We had a nice conversation with the manager who shared the history of how the place began. He also gave us some flyers with coupons for future visits. Overall a great experience and we will be back!

Here are my detailed experiences about this restaurant - Beautiful setup, well done with the interiors and a great patio. When it come to the food unfortunately it was a very sad state of affairs. I ordered a Lamb biryani and a Chicken vindaloo. The biryani was made with pre- cooked rice which was made in the morning and the rice was not basmati which was a shocker for me and my family. When it come to the Chicken vindaloo it was simply diced chicken heated with a lot of tomato puree and onion paste and the sourness of the tomato was a pain to our palate and let me not go into the oil content . The best things in the restaurant were the interiors, the waiter, the papadam and the water. A message to the Chef-Please stop fooling the locals and please dont let down the rich taste of our beautiful Indian cuisine .
