Reasonable price, good portions, and tasty food. Chicken combo is one of their most popular dishes: chicken katsu is actually crunchy! Even though its not the most authentic Japanese restaurant you can find, its a good place for some casual Japanese-style cuisine. The staff are friendly and most people do takeout, but you can also dine in.

A little 5 star gem for the lunch crowd. Their teriyaki boxes are filling and varied without being too pricey, the service is fast and friendly, and the restaurant is clean with ample seating including outside. Their salad dressing in particular is one of my favorites.

Location is convenient, Next to Starbucks and Costco. lots of parking space. It is a small fast food style sushi store rather than a sushi house. Although you can dine-in.I order Double Hamachi roll, Super Dynamite roll, and Lion King roll. Only the Lion King roll is ok, others are very good. For sure the Lion King roll is not the best I have tried in the easy bay area (still you can try).For pick-up, I would suggest order in person. Seems bit cheaper than order in apps.

Been coming here a lot lately and gonna keep coming. Reasonably priced and delicious! They still dont do dine in so its always to go for me. The to-go container is nice as well. Location is in a very quiet part of Hayward next to Costco Hesperian. A bit out of the way from about everything except costco but if youre nearby, its worth trying.

Tried it out for the first time. The chicken combo was good. The katsu was crispy on the outside and tender inside. Also liked the Teriyaki chicken 🐔 which was grilled perfectly. The did, however mix the katsu and Teriyaki together so my katsu had Teriyaki sauce on some of the slices. Im good with that combo instead of using the katsu sauce. Will most likely come back sometime.

Another causal Japanese diner. The teriyaki plates were large portion and cook with right seasoning. The ramen was not very authentic. The noodles tingled together and the soap is just acceptable. The sashimi dinner was $17 for just a 7 slices. Servers were polite and helpful. It worths a try, but dont expect too much.

The Salmon Teriyaki was prepared exactly as I asked; medium rare. As I am choosing not to eat white rice, I asked for a double serving of salad, which was graciously accommodated.This is a new restaurant, therefore, everything was immaculate and pristine.

The women tried to make me give a 10% tip without my knowledge and then got mad when I took the tip off I then purchased a bottle of water and she asked to I want my change how can you force someone to give you a tip I can’t even use the restroom room in your establishment I don’t even have a job right now but I guess me purchasing food is not good enough and you only get. Thank you have a good day when you tip if you don’t you get attitude and a dirty look I will never come back to a place that treated me less than because I couldn’t tip great food but terrible people

So my star rate would be 3-1/2 stars, but I only tried 2 rolls, so I may change if I go back and try something else. Location great, parking is ok, it was only 11am and the parking lot was about 70% full, its clean inside, (didnt use bathroom, but Im sure its clean too). They didnt have an oshinko roll, so I ordered a spicy tuna roll & super dynamite roll. Spicy tuna roll is as expected, but the super dynamite roll wasnt very satisfying. I think because they deep-fry fried it the tuna dried out and seemed overcooked, there was way too much Sriracha or hot sauce on top of it so it overpowered the flavor, and something was missing maybe it needed some cucumber in it or something to moisten the tuna that was overcooked. Prices average, so Ill probably check them out again but try something else. If I do Ill update my post.

I eat here once a week and I always get the Salmon Teriyaki bento. Cashiers dont bother asking me what I want because I always get the same thing (jokingly). It can get pretty busy during lunch and dinner, but it is expected when the quality of their food is five-stars! Worth the wait. Service is amazing as well.

Compare to when they first open till now I would say is upside down . The food quality is so low. There are hairs in my foods.Never coming back here . I do not recommend anyone do business here. If I want hairs in my food. Or if you want hair in your foods. This is the spot for you .

This take out sushi spot is a great place to get take out sushi if youre craving for one. Here are a few highlights from my experiences:1. This place is clean. They maintain the place very well and you get to see where the chef preps your food which is a plus for me to know that my food is being prepared in a clean environment especially sushi.2. The price is is competitive. They price their sushi very fairly which makes eating at this spot regularly a possibility if you are a sushi lover.3. Their chicken katsu is surprisingly good. I have had a lot of chicken katsu that is either fried way too much or too little. They fry them just right. If youre a a fan of chicken katsu, give this dish a try here.4. They are friendly. You would think this would be a given in all food and service industry, unfortunately this is no longer the norm.They are located close to Costco. Give them a shot next time you are around, Im sure you wont be disappointed!

Pricing is reasonable a bit in the pricey side. The chicken was very flavorful, the veggies the perfect consistently. Their was a lot of rice in my bowl I wish there was more of the veggies and chicken though. The friend ordered 3 orders of sushi we both agreed were very tasty and good value.

Wonderful plates of grilled protein with a delectable teriyaki sauce, rice, and some peices of a roll. The real winner though is that dressing they include for the salad! Descrobing it as tasty is only getting started. Highly recommend!

I came in to grab a poke bowl. Apparently there are only two options for like bowl. One salmon, and one chefs choice. Chefs choice comes with 3 types of fish, and other goodies. My energy just isnt in this review because how unsatisfied I was with my order. And the price for what you get, $14, just isnt fit for the meal (not including a drink). Ive been to many poke places and this place is actually a bit fresher than other places which brings it to the three stars for freshness and flavor, but not having a choice and the high price for what you get is a bit unacceptable. Overall though, if youre in the area and want some poke, I guess you could stop by and check it out for yourself at least once and then decide. But if youre just hungry for anything, Id skip this place and hop over to five guys. Sorry!

We passed by this place many times, the restaurant looks more like a togo place rather than a sit down restaurant. So today we decided to give them a try. EASILY the best sushi rolls in Hayward. The rolls are large and the sashimi served here is THICK and fresh. I live down the street in Eden Shores and this is my new favorite dining option. Its too bad its so small though. This is definitely not a budget shop, but the quality and portions are well worth the price. I really hope they dont change too much after their soft launch!!

Cashier had a visible rash/sores on her arm, which she was rubbing and was not wearing any gloves. She was 2 feet from the cook for minutes just talking and touching her arm at times. She was giving customers their receipts, giving the orders to the cooks, and packaging the food in bags and giving it to the customers all with no gloves. The service was “delayed” and cashier had a disgusting attitude because no tip was given for food that was picked up.
