2023-09-16 21:04:40We have been going here for years. Food is always great. Spicy teriyaki chicken, tonkatsu port, pan fried gyoza and tempura.

2023-04-25 06:41:24Pretty mid place. The service was average, decor was fine, the place was clean, but honestly the restaurant isnt all that special. Would rank it a 7 on a 0-10 scale. The food was decent, but the price and portions were slightly below average. Careful when ordering the California roll, because for the price, you might expect larger pieces and/or higher quantity, but there was really only 6 small pieces! Not advertised, so Id be wary. The bento box was alright, meat was super average, a bit chewy, but overall not terrible.Honestly, I probably wont be coming back, but it has a cute little shop towards the back so fun. I dont discourage you from coming, but in the end, I wasnt impressed all that much.

2021-12-30 08:32:42Honestly I don’t know why they have high ratings… the bento box was spicy and it was saying in the menu. Sushi roll was way too many rice. Small portions and definitely not a one dollar sign price. The store it’s cute but it not worth the price coming to this restaurant. Not recommend this location.

2021-10-25 21:08:44My visit here today was great the lady was very nice and welcoming when taking my order and checking to see if everything was good A++. Its nice that they also have a few other items as well to purchase to enjoy Japanese food and snacks at home. The environment in the dining area in very nice and clean and well taken care of.Overall the sushi it ordered was Excellent and being that they didnt have the Dragon roll on the menu she said if you know what it has we can make it no problem that was really nice and it was perfect!Great place for Lunch or Dinner Highly Recommend Coming here!!

2022-04-10 09:24:50I was expecting more from this place based of all of their rave reviews but was sorely disappointed. For starters, dine in experience is ordering your food up front at the register and then choosing your seat. Once your order is ready theyll bring the food out to your table. Youll have to grab your utensils, napkins and condiments by the front island in front of the register. The island is well stocked and organized. Just a strange way to have a dine in experience in my opinion. This spot seems to be more popular by ways of take-out.Ordered the Chicken Katsu Bento box, run of the mill sides, california rolls, dumplings, sliced and marinated cucumber in the middle of the box to serve as the salad portion, and then rice. Their chicken katsu was soggy thanks to the sauce being drenched all over the chicken instead of being served on the side like its supposed to be. There goes the crunch for the katsu. My partner ordered the deluxe bento which includes a variety of meats such as beef teriyaki, katsu, and chicken. The beef in the bento was pretty tasty but overall, flavors did not live up the hyper whatsoever. Ordered a fountain coke soda which for some reason, had no flavor.Staff were nice, and they cleaned up tables after dine-in customers left. Looked like they disinfected each table which is great. They also have a bunch of Asian snacks and drinks like ramune by the front register which is a surprising bonus but doesnt make up for their lackluster food and flavor profile.Perhaps I should order something else next time but honestly, this place isnt worth a second visit. Everything is just way too bland in my opinion, from the meats to the service, to the fountain soda. Try it for yourself but if you actually like authentic sushi and teriyaki, this place isnt it. There are plenty of other better sushi and Japanese restaurants around.Prices: Deluxe Bento is $12.99 and chicken katsu bento is $13.49.Hours of Operation: M-F 11am to 8:30pm Saturday 4pm to 8:30pm and they are closed SundaysPhone number: 784-8646

2023-07-24 20:19:36This is long overdue for me. This is by far one of my most favorite restaurants as I frequent it so often. Kazoku must cook dinner for me 2-3 times per week and Im so grateful to have them. Always cooked perfectly, always hot, and kind and friendly service. The food is always on point. The teriyaki bowls are perfect, I recommend the healthy teriyaki bowl. The spam musubi is the best Ive ever had and nothing comes close. And I cant forget the Carrot Sliders! Try them with the sweet potato you wont be disappointed! As far as service goes it is ran like an extremely well oiled machine. I love the way this place runs, you can tell everyone is happy and wants to work hard. The cooks, cashiers, owner/management, everyone is happy and is equally important to the success of this place. They are ON POINT. I love it! Thank you Kazoku.

2023-09-08 04:49:58Theres not a better place to eat in Roseville. Hands down the best food in town. Christy and Juan have perfected there craft. I eat there at least 36 times a year. I dine in and eat out. Christy is a friend and I look forward to her smile and her kind words. Her sons and her and Juans daughter work there as well. Its a family affair. Keep it going you guys.I may starve without you guys.Andrew

2020-02-05 02:55:17Its OK. Kind of a comfort food. I overheard someone in the restaurant say that the food was similar to a frozen teiryaki bowl. Well, not that bad, but just ok. #1 item listed on the wall was chicken terriyaki and rice-- just chicken and rice, thats all. I went for something else. The chicken I did finally get had a heavy teriyaki flavor, like it had been marinating in the sauce for a long, long time. But thats what you get if the name of the place is called teriyaki. So it was good, and OK.
