One of my top favorite katsu places in so cal. Everything seems fresh and the portions are huge. Its located inside HMart. Plenty of parking. The staffs are nice and friendly. Usually there is a wait but you can order ahead with phone order to save some time. Will definitely be back. And there are other food spots around which makes it even better. There are some tables you can eat inside. The katsu is moist and crunchy and wasnt dry. The sauce is also flavorful. Comes with sides and even soup. A local hidden gem for sure.

Love love coming to Kazu Mori for dinner. Their prices may seem a bit steep (average ~$17.5 for a plate) but their portions are HUGE. I always the chicken curry and its always more than enough to feed 2 people. The chicken curry plate comes with a generous portion of chicken katsu, rice, salad, soup, curry, and katsu sauce. I kinda wished they would give a little more rice but delicious flavors overall nonetheless.Some tips:- they do NOT provide free water, but they sell bottles water for $2- right now you can get 20% on chicken curry or cheese katsu when you check in on yelp- order ahead using yelp order online feature

The chicken katsu was really good! We called ahead to pick up, and the food was still hot when we got home. We look forward to coming back. The portions are crazy big, it’s going to take some time to finish this plate.

Extra star for the large portionsService- n/aFast casual restaurant where you order up front and pick up your order when the loudspeaker announces your order number. The public tables can be a bit grimy because there isnt someone who cleans hourly (appears only during closing time)Bottom LineSolid curry spot with super large portions. Come in hungry or prepare for leftovers! Would recommend trying multiple spots in the food court and making it family style, so you can try a little bit of everything

Located inside H Mart grocery store, Kazu Nori is truly a hidden gem. They serve various types of katsu and curry katsu in generous portions at a very affordable price. Kazu Nori has quickly become one of my go to food spots and I find myself going there quite frequentlyFOOD:What I Ordered: Cheese Katsu, Curry PorkCheese Katsu: Seeing pictures of the cheese katsu on the menu, I knew I had to try it. Mozzarella cheese wrapped in a thin layer of pork katsu, what more could you want This dish is made for a true cheese lover as its probably 80% mozzarella cheese, so be prepared for a cheese overload if youre planning to try this dish!Curry Pork: I was really excited to try the Curry Pork. Curry katsu is one of my favorite comfort foods and this place definitely fulfilled my cravings! I love how they package the curry on the side so that the pork stays nice and crispy! The curry is super flavorful and the pork is juicy and crispy. The perfect combination. When I received my food I had no idea how big the portions would be, especially for the curry pork. The curry pork was packed full of delicious pork katsu. Each meal comes with cabbage salad, miso soup, and rice. Talk about making your moneys worthLOCATION:This location of place is so perfect because you could go to H-Mart, place your order at Kazu Nori, do a bit of grocery shopping/ just explore the market, and come back to pick up your food once its done! Love katsu and curry. It is the best here! Huge portions, everything tastes delicious, and the staff is amazing! Highly recommended for dine-in or takeout. Share with your friends or family or eat it all by yourself. I love Kazu Mori!

This is a small, family owned and operated shop located inside the local H-Mart. Im literally eating my food as I type this. Its so freakin delicious and as of right now has become my go-to spot for chicken katsu. Im so happy I could come by and support this small family owned business, especially during COVID when they need it the most. I can taste the love in the food. The chicken is thick and yet perfectly crispy on the outside, and the amount of food they give you for the cheap price is insane. The two people working today were so nice that they actually made my day. Thank you for such wholesome, yummy food, and the kindness I experienced today! I will be back!

[Update 10/2023: Were semi-regulars here, and the Curry lately has been watered down, so slightly disappointed. Hopefully it wont stay this way and will revert to how it was before.Im removing a star until it gets fixed] We love the Katsu here at Kazu Mori. Weve been loyal customers since before the prices were in the teens. We accepted the price increases and kept on coming because the portions were unchanged. However, recently, I had to knock off one star because we noticed the portions are slowly getting thinner, a millimeter of thickness at a time. Probably not noticable to infrequent customers. However, for long-term customers its noticeable. Still, a good value for your money, as the portions are still bigger than the competition in the area. Will still frequent regardless.

This place is super generous with their portions. Great thing is that the food is also really delicious. Chicken katsu is juicy inside and crunchy outside. Fish katsu was alright. Curry is delicious.

The katsus are so crispy and must be made with healthy oil because they were not heavy or greasy. They are also very generous with the portions!Thank you for the great food and great service!
