2023-11-28 23:24:42I was expecting a good dinner but I got a way better experience. The food was great, the attention from the staff was awesome, the atmosphere was phenomenal. I even discovered new tastes that Im going to try to reproduce by myself.I wish they had a restaurant in other states, especially where I live. I would definitely bring some friends to the place. Since they dont have I will bring them to LA to experience the same feeling I had when I visited this place.

2023-10-03 01:18:27Took this off a recommendation from Google reviews. The line is steady and long, so my husband and I took this to go. After a brief 20 minutes wait, something amazing happened. After all the sushi I have had, the texture, flavor and freshness won out. I closes my eyes in pure bliss and enjoyed every last roll we split. Cannot recommend this place enough.

2023-08-19 01:35:52Weve heard a lot about this place and it falls somewhere in between. The rolls come with very warm sushi rice and finely minced fish, which compliment the 30 minute cold windy wait youll likely encounter even during lunch. While finely minced fish makes for a soft mouth feel, it doesnt allow you to really experience the texture of the original ingredient.Service was especially cordial. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed.

2023-12-02 01:35:58If you don’t mind waiting in line for a bit, this place is awesome. We were a party of 4 so it took a while to get us situated- it’s all bar seating so we needed a 4 person gap. That meant that several parties of 2 got seated before us- I’m not complaining but rather stating it’s much easier to dine here as a party of two. The food is simple- hand rolls of various fish and shellfish, with a couple of specials on the daily menu. You can get a Prix fixe combo with 3,4,5 or 6 hand rolls but I opted to get 4 a la carte. Toro, albacore, salmon and lobster were all gangster. I love this place!

2023-09-18 18:25:30We recently had the pleasure of dining at KazuNori in Marina Del Rey, and it was a delicious experience for the family. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic meal.If you are familiar with the simple menu you’ll know that KazuNori specializes in hand rolls. The freshness and quality of the ingredients is stellar. Each roll is so yummy and crafted to highlight the flavors of the fish and other fillings. The simplicity of the options allows you to truly savor the essence of the sushi. The rice was perfectly seasoned and had the ideal temperature and texture to complement the fish. Also their seaweed wraps are crunchy if you eat it right away. The staff at KazuNori was attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. This is the perfect spot for those who appreciate the beauty of simplicity, where the focus is on the purity of the ingredients and the artistry of hand roll making. KazuNori in Marina Del Rey is a must-visit destination.

2023-08-01 01:16:23Surprise to me that handroll tastes Super good!No table only you can seat at the bar and the chef makes the handroll right in front of you.Iced green tea is also good!Combo(5 hand-rolls - Toro, salmon, crab, lobster, and baby scallop) is only $28 also you can order individually. The rice temperature is perfect.Best of best!

2023-12-10 07:36:07The food tastes good and the ingredients are fresh. However, the raw ingredients they use are pretty cheap, and the hand rolls are filled with a lot of rice. The wait was also 45 minutes at 9pm on Saturday. Overall, it’s a nice place to try once, especially if you’re new to sushi.

2023-07-09 00:45:38I love KazuNori, I have only tried the location in DTLA, so was very happy to learn there was one in Marina Del Rey. The location is beautiful, overlooking the marina. This is always a delicious option when craving Japanese cuisine

2023-05-16 10:55:38Happened upon this place when looking up dinner options at Marina Del Ray and came across this place and their sister restaurant, SugarFish. We opted for KazuNori because price point was better and we were interested to see what the hand rolls were like. It’s first come first serve, no reservations so we waited in line for about 30+ mins. I got The Nozie and The 6-Handroll.The Nozie was great, though one of the hand rolls was yamaimo, which is a yam from the mountains of Japan (not sashimi). The Toro was the best, and ended up ordering an extra one.Great vibes, would absolutely come back here.
