2023-06-26 02:37:29Really wonderful place with friendly atmosphere and gorgeous Mountain View.Located in the close vicinity to the ocean and Laguna Beach downtown and beaches.Stuff is courtesy and attentive.Parking is free, but slots are really tiny.Highly recommend!

2023-08-13 05:35:18Upscale restaurant in a classy location only 2min from Laguna Beach 🏖️. Excellent atmosphere to enjoy a great grilled meal 🥘 with a view of the hills 🌄. The owner def knows how to grill his meats 🥩 and genuinely cares to come out the kitchen 🧑🍳 and make sure customers are happy 😊. Most importantly he serves hand slaughtered Halal which is hard to come by in Greater LA area 👌.

2023-07-31 21:08:58I really wanted this place to be good and had super high expectations for it to match my excitement of going here. Sadly the food did not live up to the even a slight amount of my expectations. The food itself was not very tasty, I wouldn’t come back here even if I was nearby. The portions are extremely small for the price which would have been okay if the food tasted like the price it is.I know my naans well, and I could easily identify the naan I was served here as a premade frozen naan that was simply heated up and served to us. For the price I had expected a fresh naan from a tandoor…. For $5 I can buy a pack of deep frozen naans.Service was okay, the gentleman in the hat was great but the others weren’t as graceful and kind of threw things on the table when we’d ask for something, like they were super busy yet there was only our table at that time.I would give this place one star, but since they do offer hand slaughtered meat I don’t want to rate them that low in hopes they’ll take this feedback and improve.

2023-04-28 19:08:48Went here last night and the food and service was great! We ordered a few dishes and were pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality. This is not your typical South Asian menu, this is a fusion spot that offers a unique kick to traditional south Asian dishes. Highly recommend! A great add to Laguna Beach.

2022-09-17 15:58:51Such a nice addition to Laguna Beach eatery. It is located in hip section of Laguna Beach next to art a fair. The parking might be a challenge in busy times. There is indoor and outdoor eating area. The food display shows the visual presentation of some of their dishes.Despite a very newly opened restaurant, the operations seemed pretty smooth. We were welcomed and seated at an outdoor table. Our drinks and appetizers order came quickly. The food selection is a nice mix of Indian and Mediterranean food. The meat supplier is a high quality local meat provider. The meat dishes we ordered were tender, flavorful, fresh and tasty. We primarily ordered Indian food selections this time. The service staff was friendly and checked on us few times. We will definitely come back.

2022-10-15 17:06:52The talk is true. This place is phenomenal. Not sure why they they are not on the Michelin Guide though. We ordered the samosa, kebab platter, Abraham Kebab, daal, and garlic naan. Once I started eating I could not speak again. All I wanted to do was stuff my mouth. Sitting outside during sunset on the closed off street eating good food was an immaculate experience. The taste is authentic, the food is fresh, and the owner Max and his team are attentive and lively. It’s an amazing addition to our line up of restaurants in Laguna beach.

2023-06-19 05:37:19Nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Laguna Beach mountains, Kebab Kurry is an absolute gem that offers a culinary experience like no other. From the moment we stepped foot into this enchanting restaurant, we were greeted by the warm and hospitable owner, Majid Mahkri, whose passion for his craft shone through in every aspect of our dining experience.Majid personally took it upon himself to introduce us to the wonders of Kebab Kurry, guiding us through the menu and sharing the stories behind each dish. The fusion dishes he has invented are nothing short of culinary masterpieces, combining flavors from various cuisines to create a harmonious blend that tantalized our taste buds. The Syrian Salad was a refreshing delight, with its crisp and vibrant assortment of vegetables, perfectly dressed with a tangy and fragrant dressing. It was a refreshing way to start our meal, awakening our senses for the gastronomic journey that lay ahead. The seasoned fries were a revelation. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and sprinkled with a secret blend of spices, they were addictive beyond words. We couldnt resist ordering a second round to fully savor their irresistible flavor. Now, lets talk about the pièce de résistance - the pathar ka gosht, or stone-cooked meat. Cooked slowly on a hot stone, this dish was a true revelation. The meat was incredibly tender, infused with a smoky aroma that added a unique dimension to its already succulent flavors. It was a true testament to Majids culinary expertise and attention to detail. The Yousaf Lion Lamb Chop was another standout dish. Tender and juicy, the lamb chop was marinated to perfection, showcasing a beautiful blend of aromatic spices that left us yearning for more. It was a true carnivores delight, a dish that exemplified the artistry and passion behind every creation at Kebab Kurry.Leila Peshawari Chapal Kebab, Tikka Chicken, Botu Chicken, Moroccan Chicken - each dish we savored was a masterpiece. The flavors were rich and authentic, the meat cooked to perfection, and the spices expertly balanced. It was evident that every dish was crafted with love and an unwavering commitment to excellence. We must also mention the Dal and Chicken 65, two dishes that exemplify the diversity and depth of Kebab Kurrys menu. The Dal, a comforting lentil stew, was prepared with precision, striking the perfect balance of flavors. The Chicken 65, a tantalizing appetizer, showcased tender chicken marinated in a spicy and aromatic blend of spices, leaving us craving for more.Beyond the exceptional cuisine, Kebab Kurrys ambiance transported us to a world of tranquility. The rustic charm of the restaurant, coupled with stunning views of the Laguna Beach mountains, created a serene and inviting atmosphere. It was the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience. In conclusion, Kebab Kurry is a culinary haven that deserves every accolade it receives. The fusion dishes, the special spices, and the attentive care of Majid Mahkri make this place a true treasure.
