We were supposed to go to El Pollo Loco when I saw the sign. Suddenly I had cravings for Thai food so we ate here instead. Thanks to my cravings, this place is definite 5 stars for food and service. Although we ordered only 3 types of food, Id say their food is as good as a home cooked meal. I highly recommend the Tom Kha, just perfect!

Food quality and taste wise the best Thai food in Monterey county. The flavors are fantastic. Not much of a sit down place environment. More of a take out place. Unfortunately, Thai noodles like pad Thai don’t taste the same after time so stick with the excellent curries and entrees

I ordered fried chicken on the side, and it was the worst chicken Ive had in my entire life. It is extremely blant. Absolutely no seasoning and looks nothing like the picture menu.I called to let them know, and the son told me to dip it inside the hot sauce that nobody had ever complained before, and they all liked it.It is a very unprofessional and rude response. He told me theres nothing they can do about it. The annoying part is that the chicken costs $14 without no taste. Its like she forgot to season the chicken before deep frying it.

Ordered the mussaman curry, rice and Thai iced coffee. Boiled white rice is standard fare. The curry was good but somewhat salty for my taste. The peanuts added a little crunch. Thai iced coffee was too sweet. Less condensed milk would be better and brings out more of the coffee taste.

This is a very small restaurant. My experience started off on the wrong foot. You should know they dont have restrooms for customers. No music. No water. Only bottled Costco water for $2.50 each. Table service happens after you order at the counter. The person who rang me up brought the food to the table and checked in on me regularly. The floors, windows, and tables were clean. The windows are lined with bright multicolor neon lights.I ordered spring rolls, panang curry, a side of rice and a water for $30 (20231019). The pandemic and inflation have me all messed up on value for eating out but it felt expensive to me.So how was the food? The spring rolls were good. Not standout great but certainly good, stuffed with fresh, crisp ingredients. The generous serving of peanut sauce in a plastic container on the side was better than others Ive had with fresh crushed peanuts on top.The panang curry with chicken was pretty tasty. I got level 3 spice and it was just enough to kick it up a notch but not overpowering. I probably could have gone with a 4 but didnt want to risk it. The curry sauce was the perfect consistency, not too thick, not too runny. The chicken meat was great, no gristle and tender. The veggies were good, not soggy. So the food basically counteracts the atmosphere. In other words, get it to go.

I ordered the breaded chicken over fried rice & it was so good. I would recommend this place to all & try the meal I got.

Best Thai food in town. Ordered some drunken noodles and they were great! I hate when some places just load it up with onions and skimp on veggies but not the case here. Was soo good & will be back. Quick too.

Best Thai food ever!!! We come here whenever we drive by Salinas - we always eat everything up between 2 adults and 1 kid. Restaurant manager chef is a lovely woman, with a kind smile - she came out to check how the food was and clearly made the food with love. Weve had Thai food around the world, inluding in Thailand and even though we always default to our kids favourite sweet n sour fish, this is one of the best in California! ♡ Must try if youre in Salinas! ☆☆☆☆☆

3 stars to be polite. Im from Sacramento so we have an abundance of South East Asian cuisine to choose from, Im south east Asian myself so I have high expectations also. The sticky rice hit the spot bc I missed home so much. The sour sea food tum yum soup was so satisfying! For the papaya that I ordered... I prefer Laos style (Ill leave it at that, if you know then you know) the thai fried chicken was such a huge dissapointment. There was no flavor in the batter or crisp. Not even salt 🥲 To make matters worse the meat was dry! The curry was alright, too sweet for my liking tbh. Thai teas tasted like powdered Thai tea (no hate, it still tasted like it) and I added tip. Everything for $92.

The orange chicken was absolutely disgusting, over cooked more like crunchy chicken. My first visit there and my last visit. If the traffic wasn’t so heavy I would’ve taken it back.
