I randomly stopped by this place on the way to the post office for a snack. I didn’t have any expectations but I am blown away by the food. Best Banh Mi I have ever had! The bread was baked to perfection, the ingredients were generous and delicious. I will definitely come back for more!

Excellent vegan noodle meal. The place is not fancy and you get to eat outdoors in covered or uncovered area. The service was with a big smile and super quick. Had #24. Friend had Chicken noodle#22 and he liked it a lot too.

This might have been the best Bahn mi I’ve had since moving to California. It had no business being soooooo good. Dang!Get the 5 spice pork, get the lemongrass chicken noodle salad. Get the iced coffee.Everything was just unbelievably perfect.

One of a kind, small café offering Vietnamese cuisine. Dining area is outside the café.We tried the vegetarian rolls, Ban Mi chicken sandwich, and the noodle salad. We loved the portions and the taste of the food.The chicken sandwich was delicious! Full of nice flavored grilled chicken and veggies.Budget friendly as well.

Tiny place with great food. If you like Bahn Mi, spring rolls or noodle salad, this is the place. Don’t forget the hot sauce packets. You can order ahead on line. Limited seating outside. We usually take it to go. Great Value!

One of the most popular Vietnamese street foods, Banh Mi is amazingly good here. Baguettes have influence from the French. The outside of the bread is so crusty and crunchy, not thick. but the inside is so soft and airy at the same time. these textures make it even more perfect for a sandwich. What is great to me is that the perfect ratio and mixture of all ingredients between breads are so perfectly good. not too soggy, the textures are so phenomental!! Jalapeno pepper has nicely spicy kick to it as palate cleanser. The vegetables are so freshly good! Even one bite can give you very different textures and dimensions at the same time!

Weve been getting the SAME order every single month for 5 years now: The Combo 5 Spice Pork sandwich and Shrimp Spring Roll. We rotate getting a Vietnamese Coffee or Thai Iced Tea. The half salad and half turkey & avocado sandwich is packed with goodness, totally worth it. It was not on the menu, but the cafe owner was willing to accommodate to my request. :) Will definitely come back to try the Vietnamese sandwich she recommended.

This place is a favorite! Ive had most of the menu at this point and everything is great. My go-to is the lemongrass chicken banh mi and the mushroom spring rolls.The location is nondescript; attached to an office building away from the busier parts of downtown. But definitely worth finding. Its basically a pickup counter, but they do have a few small outdoor tables for seating.

Great sandwich and coffee! We ordered the #3 chicken sandwich and I thought it was so good. The chicken is flavorful, it has spicy peppers and cilantro that enhance the overall sandwich and the bread was perfectly crunchy. I’m definitely coming here again.

This place was fantastic! Very reasonably priced and the food was delish. We tried tofu salad and the lunch special. Bread was perfect and the salad was really tasty. Ordered online and picked up to go. Definitely a to go place for the most part.

Kibis is the only bahn mi restaurant I am aware of in the city. It’s fast and reasonably priced. Most people don’t know it exists unless they work near by. I found it on Yelp and have been going often ever since. Nice hard working staff and excellent traditional bahn mi sandwiches. Highly recommend! 5 stars

Hidden gem! Family owned and woman run. The bread is perfect, the ingredients are so carefully chosen, put together quickly but with care. Just delicious! We eat here at least once a week. Thank you Kibi’s cafe!

Not much of a cafe considering they don’t open til 10 am, have one iced coffee on their menu, and don’t serve any pastries or breakfast options. The food is okay at best, there’s nothing there I’d get again.Also the “owner”, some old white man, does not know how to talk to people or know how mind their own business. He’s honestly a clown.

Fantastic sandwiches at a great price. This place is not like a subway style sandwich shop. The sandwiches from Kibis are handmade, and made with care. While other reviewers have correctly stated the sandwiches take some time to make, this is about a 3 minute wait, and the result is very worth it. Plus, since the time of some of the reviews, a second staff has been added which helps with capacity. The sandwich is loaded with all the goodies you could ask for, and it all tastes delicious. If you are concerned about timing, you can text your order in beforehand and they will get it prepped for you to pick up. This is the Homemade Sandwich you wish you could make at home. Plus the coffee is excellent as well! Definitely worth checking out this shop.

Some of the best Banh Mi I’ve ever. Would absolutely recommend the Banh Mi and Spring Roll combo - both are utterly delicious. I shared the combo and the breakfast croissant with my boyfriend and everything was absolutely perfect. Very nice outdoor seating, perfect for reading a book or studying on a sunny day. Big fan of Vietnamese food, so Ive had some Bahn Mi in my time. This is the best one Ive ever had, full stop. I was the first customer of the day and with a Vietnamese coffee to go it was a great way to start the day. Affordable, good atmosphere, super friendly staff, I highly recommend.

She makes the sandwiches fresh so it can take a little time if there are a few people in there, but well worth it and you can order ahead if you need to.

When Ive had vegetarian bhan mi at other places, there were nice big pieces of fried tofu as a vegetarian protein. Kibis Cafe vegetarian bhan mi is lacking that filling protein so it was like eating a Vietnamese salad in a roll. While not bad, its not satisfying at all.

Dont expect a menu looking like a Bible, which is a very good thing. Simple eatery offer quick but satisfied meals. They do have tables but mostly take out orders. Id certainly become a regular. Oh yeah Id recommend order way ahead of time.
