Amazing dinning experience. Incredible dishes, fabulous service and wonderful ambiance. The owner is so attentive and passionate about each dish, you can tell they were carefully crafted. Could not recommend this place more. Will definitely be coming back.

Kiko went above and beyond with the service he provided us. He explained every dish in detail and told us about the history of Peruvian food. I really appreciate how passionate he was about his resturant. The food was so amazing! Highly recommend the ceviche, pasta with steak, octopus, desserts and pisco sour. Downtown needs more resturants like this! I will definitely be coming back.

Delightful! Delicious! It has only been open three weeks and it was amazing. We had three types of ceviche (classic - top-notch, tradito side by side - perfect and unique and the octopus - melt in your mouth and the olive sauce was so good even someone who hates olives had seconds and thirds). For drinks we had a variety of pisco sours (mango - sweet, ginger - spicy) easy to want seconds. Service was excellent. Kiko was super friendly and welcoming and explained the menu. Outdoor patio has a great atmosphere and view of the creek - heaters available. There are two indoor dining options - by the bar or quieter back room. Would come back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful meal. Each appetizer and entree was truly unique and complex. We enjoyed taking our time savoring bites. The service was attentive and informative. Well be back! Its such a delight to have a restaurant in SLO now with this much attention to nuances and harmonies of flavor.

Exceptional food and service. Kiko himself gave us a fully immersed dining experience with recommendations and tips to get the most delicious bite every time. The Pisco Sour’s were fruity and amazing, pomegranate was my favorite. We tried a variety of dishes and all were 5 star. The scallops could be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Definitely give Kiko’s a try. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you for the memorable meal. We will be back.

Kiko is a master of providing and unique and meaningful experience. He’s truly exceptional and his team is a reflection of that. The food was so unique and incredible, I’ve never had anything like it. I would try to describe it more but I wouldn’t do it justice. I think only they can articulate the flavor they’re creating. It just feels like you’re a big family when you’re there. Many options are very shareable so I definitely recommend going with a group. It just might be my new favorite place in Slo!

My wife and I dropped in on their soft opening night. The food and service were fantastic. Amazing they pulled that off after only being open 2 nights. We tried several dishes and were not disappointed with any. And the host and server and owner all gave us great background on the food and the vision for the restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Loved everything about Pisco! Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable and they really help you figure out the best options. We just did 3 appetizers, scallops, pork anticuchos and croquettes, all of which were amazingly delicious so we ordered more. Pisco Sours were on point as well! I will definately be back to try the entrees and ceviche. Atmosphere felt comfortable and vibey and Im really glad to have another patio restaurant in SLO. The place is pricey, but for me it was worth every penny. My new favorite in town for sure!

Downtown SLO is privileged to be the location for this new Peruvian restaurant. In the heart of downtown, off of Higuera St, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. With an intimate ceviche bar, main dining room, and stream-view patio, Kiko offers a vibe for any mood. The owners did a fabulous job of designing an open bar flow that is trendy, clean, and interesting. All of the employees seem to be in a great mood, and the energy of the entire restaurant is that of enthusiasm. The owners work as servers, and offer passionate suggestions and ensure that all of the details of their well crafted menu are just as they should be. I never felt rushed, the explanation of the dishes were captivating, and as a professional chef myself, I was very impressed with their quality ingredients, plating techniques, creative fusions of traditional Peruvian with other cuisines, and overall execution of every dish an cocktail I ordered. I started with a Pisco Sour which I hope to be indulging in again as soon as possible. For an appetizer I went with the Ceviche Classico. The fish was top quality, and sauce left me craving more as soon as I finished the dish. I wrapped up the meal with Vegetable Chaupa. It was a satisfying portion that didnt leave room for dessert, but I knew I wanted to try something, so I got the Peruvian Alfajore. Even after waiting several hours, this dessert was so technically well executed and the flavor palette left me wanting more, more, more! I will be recommending Kikos restaurant to everyone I know and, I hope they become a pillar in the SLO restaurant community for many years to come. Thank you for such a amazing meal, Kiko and Desiree have done an amazing job at curating the perfect Californian Peruvian experience.

We stopped by for some appetizers. Kiko recommended three different ones for a light meal and all were excellent. We had the SLO Ceviche, scallops, and croquettes. Im not usually a big fan of Ceviche, but the dish here has changed my mind. The sauce was delicious and quality of the fish was top notch. Everyone we interacted with was friendly as well. Well definitely be back.
