Tasty Vegi Plate Combo. I like my falafel more herby though, & next time I’ll substitute the pita bread for rice. The tahini sauce tasted a little “funny.” The hummus & babaganoush were my favorite items on my plate

We make it a point to stop here when we travel through the area (several times a month). The quality and taste of their food is unmatched. The service is always great and the restaurant is always super clean. Stop by and treat yourself for anything that looks good on the menu. You won’t be sorry. Bring the kids and they too will enjoy the fantastic foods. Any of the kabob or shawarma plates are sure to please.

Its my first time here, but this is a hidden 💎. I recommend giving this place a try if you are in the area. The taste of the rice was light and fluffy and done to perfection. The lMb and gyro were really good also.

After reading the reviews here that seems mixed with good and bad, my experience was good at least. Place was not packed and spacious, lots of pick up orders on a Thursday afternoon, prices are bit high but given the Covid/inflation going on, sounds about right. Enjoyed my mixed Shawarma meal, no free water unfortunately, only drinks shown in the fridges.

The food is delicious, the prices are cheap ($8-10 for an entree), and the workers are amazingly friendly. Last time I went they gave us some free falafels just so we could try their garlic sauce. Very healthy and authentic, large enough portions. The only gripes I have is that a) the place is very small inside, and b) you cant see it from inside the parking lot, only from the intersection. Other than that, I love the place and am always recommending it.

I ordered a beef skewer plate, that came as fire roasted pieces served atop rice. The beef was seasoned with citrus and was tender and juicy. The bismati rice was quite nice and had actual flavor. The salad was a typical mix dressed in vinaigrette. The pita was store bought, but paired well with the hummus or when wrapped gyro styled with the meat, salad and dipped into the shatta a sort of blended chile mixture. (Dont try if you dont like spicy!) A canned soda brought the tab to $14 and the portion sizes easily quelled my appetite. I will definitely return to see what else I may enjoy.

It was first time ordering from here and it will be my last.I rate Mediterranean restaurants on one basic item, HUMMUS, if you get that right then I will return. This place has the nastiest hummus Ive ever had. It taste like dirty bean water. I couldnt taste and tahini in it and then it was lots of low grade olive oil on top.The fries are crinkle cut, wow. The portion is minimal for the price of $17 for a falafel plate, I would expect just a little more especially when there was no meat,, come on now! Also the prices online are $2 less than what you get charged in person, I got told the online prices are old. Really? I just tried this place for the first time as I was craving Mediterranean food, and I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend the chicken and beef kabob plates. The hummus had a nice smoky flavor, which some in my family didnt like, but I thoroughly enjoyed it myself. Watching Food Network one night saw a guy making a falafel. My wife and I said wow havent had falafels in a while. Did a online search for best falafel place around me. This popped up. Next day we head on out to get a falafel. Saturday night about 7:30 walked in, not a soul in the place. Very clean place but empty. Thinking to ourselves not a good sign. I had the Falafel. I was so impressed with the taste and freshness of my food. I also liked how you can see the prep and cook line. My perception was a Lamb Gyro served at an authentic Mediterranean restaurant should be made from real meat. Turns out if you order Lamb Gyro you get the fake looking frozen meat.Who knew you had to order beef/lamb to get the real thing.I would make that clear to customers next time when an order is placed. Really disappointed.Place needs some cleaning as well. Not the cleanest. Dirt in corners. Leather Chairs are cracking.Bathroom had no soap and garbage over flown with paper towels.Lentil soup was great!I would not return for sure.

I have eaten here a few times was always extremely satisfied. However, they changed the ingredients on my favorite item without disclosing. I had an allergic reaction and had to toss my meal. Called them, new worker first said she may have made a mistake then said she was informed they did indeed change ingredients. I absolutely love this place, I had the lamb skewers as a plate size, definitely a bang for your buck. For 9 dollars you get 2 lamb skewers, 2 pitas, a small house salad, hummus and rice. The lamb was cooked to perfection it had a lot of condiments that complemented the lamb greatly. And the rice had a spectacular taste to it. Weve been 3 times since the ownership changed and will not be back again. My food was ok. My husbands food was terrible. The gyro sandwich was filled with a mountain of sopping wet, bland salad shred burying the pittance of unseasoned gyro meat. The tzatziki was watery with no real flavor. A focus on ingredient proportions and seasoning would be a much welcomed improvement.Plus the previous owners were extremely friendly and knew our names after only a couple visits. Kinda a bummer because we were regulars under the previous management.

This is the 3rd time Ive eaten here, most recently in 03/2021. Previously the meal portions and price was reasonable. This time the condiments, sides and drinks were overtly priced!!! For lunch of 4, we ended up spending as much money as we pay for fine dining at Cheese Cake Factory where continental chefs prepare tour meals. I understand that businesses need to earn profit but charging 3 times higher (e.g charging over $3 for a can of pepsi that is worth $0.75 cents) is just not reaaonable.

Even though California Civil Code 1748.1 (declaring card-use surcharge illegal) is still tied up in court, the section of the law that states that you cannot add fees without posting or notifying the customer of the charge remains illegal...and this is what King Falafel does at 4%. After spending over $43 there, I would have paid less of a fee going to an out-of-network bank. SHADY!The food was decent, but you get much more flavorful rice at Zaky, more robust and zesty stuffed grape leaves at Zait Bistro, and juicier meat at Red Tomatoes. I like going and supporting small mom & pop businesses, but for food that was forgettable and a hidden fee, Ill take my business elsewhere... at least Ill know what Im paying for.

By far the best falafel I’ve had. And believe me I’ve had a lot in my lifetime. What impressed me even more was the awesome staff. I stopped in short notice and ordered enough food to feed an army. I ordered a dozen falafel ala cart 4 complete falafel plates and 4 falafel sandwiches. They made the order fresh and was out in about 20 minutes. They even offered me a free sample while I waited. Restaurant and kitchen were spotless. The vegetables they used in the sandwich and the plates was so fresh they had a nice crunch to them. My first time here as I was referred by a relative to give them a try. Not only did they no disappoint but they exceeded my expectations which were high to begin with because of the referral. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. These guys are the real deal. Thanks to the whole staff. Well done.

Such good food at reasonable prices. Excellent service and quality. We had 3 falafel plates. Each came with 6 crunchy flavorful falafel balls, thick rich hummus topped with olive oil and paprika, and a wonderful salad with a tasty vinaigrette style dressing. Of course a basket of pita bread wa included and sides of tahini sauce and a spicy sauce. The cook came out to check on our meal and was very nice and professional. Highly recommended!!

Ive driven past this place thousands of times. Ive tried a falafel once before and liked it. Finally gave this place a chance and Im glad that I did. The two brothers that own the place are very nice. They even let me sample the falafel before paying for it.Now for the falafel. Delicious. It came out nice and hot but that didnt stop me from chowing down on it. Burned my fingers and tongue but who cares hahaGood food, with a great atmosphere.

The falafel is soooo crunchy and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Best falafel Ive had from any Mediterranean place in rancho cucamonga, maybe in all the inland empire, hands down. These guys are hardworking and dedicated and you can taste it in the food. This place is barely starting off so they do serve in plastic plates but the quality of the food is superb, you wont even notice what youre eating off. Hands down, place is finger licking good. Try it to believe it and you wont regret!
