I havent tried the food but I went to the grocery store on the other side (inside the restaurant) of the restaurant. The restaurant looked clean and the atmosphere looked good. Because of the door between the grocery store and restaurant, customers can have full privacy while dining. The grocery store is not very big but has pretty much everything one would need. But so far I have seen only frozen meat (chicken, beef, lamb and goat) which they gladly cut to your order. The butcher is a very nice person and very helpful. The owner is also nice and tries to assist the customers as much as he can. Grocery prices are very competitive and the Halal meat prices are the lowest in San Fernando valley. Although they have storefront parking, but this can be an issue as there are other restaurants and stores in the same complex.I wish them all the best.

Good comfort food for a quick dinner.No ambience/music, unsalted Saag Dal, yummy mango drinks and fantastic Samosa.Funny influence of Mexican edition in menu and they forgot our orders desert - baklava. Service Friendly though and not food might be fresh cooked like a veggie biryani.Bonus - a Indian shop next door.

My coworkers and I went for lunch he ordered chicken tandoori and I had the massala cheese I forgot the name but all I remember is that it was so delicious, the guy who took care of us is super friendly and the best part is that they have buffet Friday and Saturday, and maybe Sunday, cant remember, we looking forward to eat buffet if we r around

Food is good but need to stik to authenticity of culture and make it slight spicy when served through the menu. Also expand buffet as for the price charged for the buffet similar to other similar restaurants should get more quantity in the buffet and can keep buffet at mild spicy.

Sorry to say that I did not really enjoy this. The chicken tikka masala was sort of marinara-like; too sweet, too acidic, no salt. The spices used in this really need to be amped up, as I did not detect any notable Indian spices. The chicken pieces were tender though, and the portion size was decent.I will say that the puri bread and naan were great! But the curry really let me down.

I read the reviews prior to going here and I was super excited. Going in I ordered veggie samosas, chicken tikka masala, plain rice and plain naan. I asked for the tikka masala to be lvl 7 spicy.The samosas were warm and went well with the three types of sauces, but the flavor of the potato’s needed salt. There was also a dab of salted oregano on the samosa shell that I really didn’t like. Too salty if you can believe.The tikka masala was really upsetting when I had it. It tasted unsalted, bitter and filled with tomato paste. I was so angry that I just paid, tipped (coz my waiter was incredibly nice) and walked out, puzzled because I finally had the worst Indian food of my life. It was freshly cooked, the quality tasted high, but it wasn’t yummy.I knew the tikka masala needed salt, and it didn’t have any fat in it, like milk. That’s what made it taste like tea. I didn’t even think it was spicy before.Hours later I come home, high…… and start cooking this masala up to save it. (I hate wasting food!) I add salt, butter, and almond milk to the rice masala mixture, and then have a fabulous plate of masala!!! It finally tasted normal and delicious, and I could finally taste the spiciness. (My mouth is burning)This has taught me that fat makes food taste spicier, salt enhances spices, and butters delicious. The rice and naan were also good.Sometimes your chef will forget salt and dairy, but if you’re willing to either remedy the dish or demand for a new one, I recommend my meal. Not the samosas tho coz those were definitely not fixable to my knowledge of cooking.I’m sure the staff probably just made a mistake, I hope this is seen as constructive.

Finally, an Indian restaurant that makes good Indian food! Spicy and rich madras. How hard can it be to get a decent curry in LA? Apparently its very difficult but King of India gets it right! We ordered via Grubhub and the food arrived quickly and with a very polite delivery guy. Keep up the good work and well keep ordering!

The food is incredible. Period. I am really amazed by their dinner specials as well. Its fresh, has a great range, and the service is very accommodating and friendly. This restaurant is affordable and delicious. There really isnt any where else like it out here. Highly recommend!

This is the worst Indian food I ever had.Its a combination of really bad food, gross and creepy environment, and bad service.The worst restaurant Ive ever been in LA. It deserves 5 negative stars.Ive eaten there for lunch at their buffet, I was with friends and couldnt walk out unfortunately.First the place is DIS-GUS-TING, seriously guys change this gross carpet.- It all start with the plates still having the cleaning water with food particles on them, you need to wash your plate first.Then the food is really really bad, bland, no taste at all.- the onion fritters must have been from the day before.- the chicken tikka masala was the worst !! just a bunch of dry pieces of chicken swimming in bland watery sauce with TONS of fluorescent orange color ! Seriously Ive never seen such bright color, totally artificial. Guys, cut down on the artificial colorant and use spices, salt and learn how to make a creamy sauce.- the tandoori Chicken was dry with no taste.- the rice had no taste, not even salty enough.- the veggies where edible but very far to be good.- even their Mango lasy is below average, its super sugary and taste artificial like a mix of corn syrup and artificial mango flavoring.The dessert was just rice pudding. There was just one remaining so my friends didnt had the chance to even try...The service is non existent (for the buffet), it will save you the tip though.If the food is the same for dinner, its a total rip-off especially with their prices !! Way WAY overpriced, even if the food was good, the restaurant is so gross that it would still be a bad idea to eat there.With so many good restaurant around (check Lucys, greek restaurant) I cant understand this place is still open.If you want a delicious Indian restaurant go to Bollywood on Ventura Blvd, they are less expensive, their food is delicious and they have lunch special.

Although it was super late in the night, the service was amazing, thoughtful, and polite. Faruk(If I misspelled this, please let me know), I believe was incredibly nice, and helped myself and a friend when picking things that were vegan-friendly. I will very much hope to come back here soon, and I cant wait to finish what we took home.

This is my second time here and the quality was the same as the first time...very poor! The staff doesnt care about their customers, they give absolutely no attention to the needs. My boyfriend and I waited both times for them to give us just a refill of water for over 20 minutes. The food is watered down...like theyre trying to save money or something, and the station for its cold foods isnt cold, and the rice is bland....like the rest of the food. They serve their chicken curries/masalas with chicken that isnt even fully defeathered. And to add to it, their rice pudding was at room temperature. This will definitely be our last time coming here.

This restaurant is basically hidden, I found it by chance since I was originally looking for the Mediterranean that is in the same plaza. Lucky me because for $15.99 I was able to eat as much as I could from the buffet they serve at lunch. Two varieties of chicken, the tandoori and the curry. Fabulous varieties of salads too. How delicious was everything. Highly recommended!!!I dont know much about Indian food but I loved it.
