This has Potential to one of my favorite Restaurants. I like Ramen, but to Cook your own own is super fun and great. First you decide your meat and combinations, we added the Ramen noodles and instead having the simple miso we choose the spicy Ramen. Its not so hot, just a little bit spicy. When you are done, it looks like a total mess...but we had our fun.

Clean lots of air conditioning for steamy pots♨️ californian very high end 👙Pricey 💲💲💲💲Confusing menu 😥Japanese had problems with ingredients used in Shabu. 🇯🇵Staff helped with menu but mostly left us to our own devices. 😝We were left unattended for long periods of time with out drinks being refreshed or additional items asked for . 😒Can handel big groups and families 🤱Has a bar with booze 🍻🥂🍶🍾🍷🍸Well lite 💡Parking is good and free 🚗🚏This place also generates a lot of food waste.📊📈 I would like to know what there environmental impact plan is for recycling food waste. 🍲🛢🗑We had like 7 differnt wait staff I hope that everyone got tipped. 👨🏻‍🌾👨🏽‍🍳👳‍♀️🎅🏾👩🏼‍🍳👨🏻

One of the better Shabu establishments that I’ve been to.Went back for a visit after a few years & was delighted to see that the quality hadn’t waned.Veggies were top shelf & the meat (Prime & Lamb) was so thin that I don’t know how it was possible to slice it that thin.Spicy Miso broth was a bit overpowering though (tasted like it had a beef stock to it). I’ll stick to the standard Miso broth.

Delicious food and wonderful customer service. Enjoyed this meal while visiting my family. Varied selection of food choices that customized our meal to the delight of our party.

My new go-to in Redondo Beach.... First time having Shabu Shabu style food and I was very impressed! Outstanding staff was helpful in every way.

Hot pot in my book means very flavorful broth... which this was not. Also, was highly disappointed in the variety of veggies and starches to choose from. The meat selection was good. I actually came here due to the extract drops that you can have added to your hot pot for the heat... it was indeed spicy but in the end, my biggest fault was the lack of flavor in the broth. If you think this is flavor... wait until you have delicious hot pot as there are several other locations much better than this to go to.

The staff here is really friendly. I went here with my old boss and my previous vendor. He knows what to order from Sake to the actual Shabu Shabu. We had our drinks then got to business for the boiling fun.We started with the vegetables and they mentioned that towards the end we have a special broth that we can use for the remaining vegetables or meat. I enjoyed the cooking and the taste as well. All I had to do was to mix everything. LOL

Hot pot of boiling water, they give you a variety of items based on your order thats too expensive for my liking. Youre paying to boil less than a 1/4 lb of meat with vegetables in a water (the lamb is delicious though), and feel hungry afterwards. Better if you make your own Shabu Shabu at home, and/or I recommend Korean BBQ or flavored hot pot (where you select a soup base) instead. Beer by the pitcher to go with the meal was nice to have and reasonably priced, the restaurant is clean, and looks great. The service was also good as well - the meal was just expensive for how much meat you get. More about the experience I suppose.

Tucked away off of the main drag is another branch of King Shabu Shabu. Their service is solid. Their veggies are solid. Their meats are very good. The only drawback? They only have green tea for iced tea. I prefer black tea but if you dont have a tea fetish like I do please give this place a try. You dont regret it!
