2019-02-10 01:04:50Went here on a Saturday morning at 10am before the queue formed. Pretty good dim sum for the area & reasonably priced ($71 for 7 dim sum & a large pan fried noodles dish).

2018-12-22 21:39:33The typical dim sums we tried were pretty good. Crowded on weekend. You order from the list or you can wait for the cart which I dont recommend unless you have all the time in the world and like everything in the cart.

2017-08-02 05:12:20This place is absolutely disgusting. I went to dim sum with my family on August 1, 2017 and had a traumatizing experience. My grandma bit into a cockroach in the chicken feet and my little sister found plastic in her meatball. I would advise you NOT to eat here. My family and I are never going back here again.

2017-12-04 06:06:57Sub par quality dim sum for a restaurant. Not a lot of options. Everything was extra salty. Turnip cake has a funny taste and barely contain any turnip. Shrimp dumplings had this weird opaque color skin, not translucent. Wouldnt eat here even if I had no other options. No condiments on the table, youd have to ask for it. Chairs covered in stains. Tea pot covered in stains. Cups are cracked and chipped. The server that brought carts around rolled her eyes at us because we didnt want any of the disgusting stuff on her cart. It is not cheap either. 5 items for $28+. If you are used to Koi Palace quality, dont bother with this place. The only saving grace was that our waitress was very nice.

2023-02-19 12:08:05Dim sum just ok . Nothing special . I order Milky custard bun (流沙包). The server warmed me, it won’t look like the photo . Its so small and like the size of a golf ball . I think is the frozen ones from the super market. Will not go back. Tai Yuan Seafood Restaurant is so much better for dim sum .

2017-11-27 09:03:41King Wah opens at 10 am so we lined up outside at 9 am (it gets packed on the weekends). We were first in line and first to be seated. Food came out slow and the popular dishes were always swooped up immediately after leaving the kitchen. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant and not able to get all our usual dishes which was a bummer. The dim sum is tasty and probably the only reason for a 3 star and not a lower rating.

2018-03-04 21:19:47We have been coming to King Wah Restaurant for well near 40 years, since the 1970s. This morning we went, made our order (about 8 items) and waited for over 1 hr 15 min while only served tea. We were told that our order was on-the-way a total of 3 times during the long wait. All other tables and guests around us were served within 10 minutes of their orders, and most had come in and seated well after we had been seated and made our order. This was a very unfortunate experience. We have brought guests from out of town, specifically to enjoy the varied menu. Never again.

2018-09-27 22:21:43Pretty decent dim sum restaurant, not the best of the best, but a good go to for regular weekend tea. Youll find your standard menu of plates here, havent noticed a particular signature dish that stands out. Dinner is again ok, but nothing special. Generally good enough for a family style dinner on a whim or for a event.

2019-01-08 22:27:52Reliable dim sum restaurant in Westlake. At this spot, you can simply order your items from a menu rather than wait for servers to come around to your table. I do prefer the traditional serving experience, but its great getting all the items youre craving without having to wait! Definitely try new items to take advantage of the ordering system.

2016-01-04 05:52:07Came here for dinner. Clean well lit place. Good traditional Chinese food. That means that you should not be ordering things like chow mein and sweet and sour pork. Be a little adventurous and you shall be rewarded with good food.
