King Wah Seafood Restaurant in Pleasanton

Authentic Cantonese style seafood restaurant serving dim sum during lunch. We had a table of 9 - enough to sample a nice variety of dishes. Everything was served piping hot & dishes were authentic and fresh. The dim sum dishes were all spot on and the lobster noodles were OK. It’s a place to come for the food - nothing else special; a typical eatery in a mall like atmosphere. Service is fast and efficient. I’d come back for an authentic Chinese meal. Prices are not cheap but acceptable.

I stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant on my Daddy / daughter dinner night. Wasnt sure what to order but our waiter made some great choices for us. I dont know the names but everything was really tasty and of decent proportion. Service was over the top and the prices seemed to be reasonable. I would definitely go back again!

Foods are good; service is just to provide the meal to you. Must be very careful of your bill. They added 20% tips already when they gave the bill to you without any notice(no matter how many person). The tax was calculated with meals and tips, so additional charges here.

I love their carrotcake and tofu skin roll !Their review is not that good, but honestly, food quality is pretty good for me, even better than le Garden ( Cupertino ) and Pearl bay ( auto mall )

[2023 may]Still one of my top favorite dim sum restaurants! Siu mai is still delicious even though today it was already in the steamer in a while due to the lunch+memorial weekend rush. Everything came out piping hot. Their menu is not super extensive and I like that they stick to what they can do well and maintain high quality.I normally dont care for chicken feet because of the salty sauce and they offer a herb soup option which is delicious! We also got the beef chow fun and although it is greasy (as traditional style is), the flavor is great with the right combination of ingredients (yellow chive, bean sprouts, and beef). The beef doesnt taste like its been overly processed and seasoned very well. I would appreciate a little less oil but this is a hard dish to make healthy.The steamed fun guo is too meaty for our preference because we like all the non meat ingredients in it.There was a short wait at 1pm on Saturday but you can grab a menu and start selecting your food while you wait in line.Parking is tough even with a dedicated lot so make sure to carpool and reserve some time to find parking.[2020 Aug]Great siu mai. Everything we got was tasty. Im from Hong Kong and Ive craving for good Siu Mai during SIP and came all the way from South bay to get some. They have tables outside if you want to eat them fresh.

Maybe we ordered right dishes, the food is really good, especially taking the price into consideration. Four people paid $90 tax,tip included. The 榴莲酥 had real 榴莲fruit inside.

Wow! This was absolutely amazing in Dim Sum restaurant in Livermore. My niece knows we live for Dim Sum and we came down for a visit and went here today. The food is absolutely the best and so fresh. What a cute decorated restaurant. The staff was really nice and helpful. This really was a great experience and yummy in my tummy.

Food, service, and atmosphere are all good. It is on a little expensive side but I am OK with that. I’ve just found it sneaky that they automatically add 15% service charge on the check and ask for a tip again when you pay with a credit card.

They take reservations which is great. We came here on thanksgiving day and it wasn’t too busy. Food is tasty. Beef chow fun was really. Overall the portions are on the smaller side. Service is not good. We asked to cancel 1 item on our order since it was taking so long. We had the hardest time trying to cancel this 1 item it almost ruined the experience of coming here. I would come back though since the food was good. Food does have a lot of MSG though.

Solid okay for dim sum in the area, would definitely go elsewhere after this experience.We got here before the rush, like no joke. It was half empty and by the time it was 11:00 there was a huge line out through the food hall.Speaking the language gets you nothing here.It seems they must be short-staffed because for them to pick up your order form and for them to bring out sauces and food seemed to take forever. Even with paying the bill took quite some time. You have to keep flagging them down for every single thing you need.Solid okay for the main dim sum dishes.The favorite was the short rib with rolls in the clay pot. That was delicious.They were sold out of many things and it was hardly 10:45 AM.The only thing I would recommend you avoid getting is the taro puffs.Oil oozes out with each bite and all you taste is oil.Parking is a plenty given that it is located in a huge shopping plaza.
