The food was delicious and everyone who works there is really kind. The baguette is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (you can tell it’s made fresh!), the BBQ pork was tender, and the fresh and pickled veggies had the perfect crunch. Highly recommend!! :)
Legit veg banh mi! Kitten and Pinky serve a sandwich with savory marinated tofu and vinegar-kissed carrots. The bread is on point; perfectly crisp, dry, and well dressed with aioli. Be sure to get a side of sambal.

Kitten and Pinky is a family-run business. I always order the same thing: chicken sandwich with no pate and extra mayo. Its always fresh and delish. Lots of chicken and carrots. The jalapeños are usually sweet but sometimes they are hot too.
A friend told us about this banh mi gem in Pacifica. They also serve vermicelli bowls. All of us loved the food. There is some seating but its more of a pick-up-and-go type place. Its a short walk from Winters Tavern if you need to eat before or after day drinking.

Yummy banh mi and spring rolls! We got the tofu sandwich and vegan rolls. The bread was extra fresh and delicious. It had a crispy crust but it was very thin, so the bread was crunchy but tender at the same time. Seemed like a family run business 💕💕💕. In general all the ingredients seemed fresh. Would definitely come back.
Kitten and pinky is a cute place ! I love coming here my goto spot for Thai ice tea and Viet chicken sandwich . They are friendly and also so nice and the food is really good I recommend trying all the plates . I come here at least once a week and also todo my laundry next store at cal laundry . So always make my way here . And they also have donuts yum yum ❤️

I randomly found it while waiting for my facial (karma wellness) & ordered a the combo banh mi & iced viet coffee & condensed milk.The couple that owns it is were really nice. Loved that I supported another small business today.It was all delicious! Will definitely come back.
Tried their BBQ pork and papaya salad. Both were very fresh and yummy. This must be the best Vietnamese food Ive tried, and Ive been to many places in San Jose. Will definitely be a return customer every time Im in Pacifica.

Delicious and perfect vegan rolls, portions adequate to price. Excellent and gracious service. Tiny little spot, close to the beach and perfect for grab and go. After eating nearby I ordered another to go for a later meal. I will be going back as frequently as I pass through. Yummmyyy!

A couple of really nice people making really good food. Had the BBQ pork with rice, an egg roll, and the Thai tea with jello. When they saw I was riding a skateboard they came out and gave me a bag for my to go box before I could think to ask. A lot of food at a good price too.
Unassuming location in a small shopping plaza on Palmetto Avenue in Pacifica. Dont let this fool you, because the banh mi are very good, and the tofu banh mi is second only to Saigon Sandwich in San Francisco! Limited seating in the restaurant - most of the business is take out for people enjoying the beach or are local. The owners are lovely and friendly. Perfect for lunch or a light dinner.

I got the #5 BBQ Pork Sandwixh and a Vietnamese coffee. Partner got the Vegan sandwich. Both agreed they were great and the carrots were the best part.Nice seating inside with sunny view and counter or table options.
Great to have these folks in the neighborhood. Hadnt been in quite awhile, because COVID and all its variants has significantly affected my income; and because the last several times I wanted to go it always seemed to be a Tue, when they take a well deserved day off. I usually go straight for a pork bahn mi, but have sampled the spring rolls;, coffee, and chicken bahn mi. Like everywhere, prices are creeping up, but so are my grocery bills, and they are still very fairly priced. Its a working.class neighborhood, they have to be. Super friendly, always quick, and always delicious. And the place is always clean and organized. They had some big shoes to fill when they took over this spot, and with some nearby competition, but they have held their own and continue to satisfy and be a pleasant spot that doesnt break the bank.
I ordered the pork and egg roll over vermicelli and it was delicious flavor! My only teeny complaint was that the egg roll was cold. Delicious, but not crispy.
Got the #5 and #18 (Barbecue Pork and Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Condensed Milk) and both were amazing. The coffee was incredibly flavorful. The people working there were genuinely super nice too. I would absolutely go again.
A great local joint with delicious food! We ordered the vegan spring rolls, vegan tofu banh mi and chicken banh mi. I love that there are so many veggie and vegan options. All three dishes were top notch. Its near the pier so its an easy stop after a walk by the beach.
I didnt plan on writing this review but the sandwiches were just that good. If you go, do yourself a favor and order the BBQ Pork Sandwich. Its such a good deal for how much you get, and its easily the best sandwich Ive had in years.

Been there twice thinking maybe the wait was long because they were short on staff during the week.. but no… second time again the wait was really long… and they only had a few things on the menu. Excellent Banh Mi sandwiches but definitely try the Vietnamese chicken salad. Wonderful flavors of mint and the fish sauce is exceptional!

This is a great spot. The owners manage the restaurant themselves. Seems like a very authentic Vietnamese food experience (compared to my trip to Vietnam a couple years ago, during which I did a culinary food tour)

2023-11-25 05:56:05Ive been here several times and the food is INCREDIBLE! I usually get the BBQ Chicken Sandwich and the Tofu Rolls which the person at the register recommended my first time. The Thai Tea is also great, and has a very rich flavor, though they dont offer the coffee jelly anymore. My husband usually gets the Tofu Over Vermicelli, which isnt on the menu but if you request they will likely make it. Love coming here!

They didn’t come off as crisp as they should have. The staff was definitely very kind. The egg rolls were good. Not overly greasy for something deep fried. I would like to go back and try the other dishes.

The owner and her daughter were so friendly - making you feel welcome and comfortable.The dining room is tidy and clean, though not pretty, but theres counter seating that stretches across the front window where you could enjoy your meal and people-watch.

2020-08-01 23:41:06I believe it was the owners that helped us out and they were very polite, were busy making orders, but paid attention to us and said they would be with us shortly.I got the mayonnaise bread, BBQ Pork Sandwich, Egg Rolls and a Thai Iced Tea. The sandwich was amazing, as was the mayonnaise bread. I’m not a big Thai iced tea guy, so that was just okay. I enjoyed the egg rolls as well, especially dunked in the chili sauce. Come check it out when you are in Pacifica.

2022-03-25 21:05:49Really nice mom and pop banh mi shop! The owners are super nice and the banh mi are the kind I grew up with. Prices match what you find in the other local joints at $8 a sandwich. Havent tried their other dishes, but theres pics on the walls and they all look good.
