I ordered the boneless chicken lunch plate, which comes with rice and cole slaw. The rice portion was generous, and the cole slaw surprised me as it was fresh and delicious, and I dont like .The chicken was a little chewy/slightly overcooked, or the boneless chicken was slice too thin. The chicken was tasty.Chicken Gizards.: Way way too salty, too bad they would have been perfect. They must have accidentally measured the salt wrong ???I cant think of a way to fix it so that i can eat it. I was hoping I had found a new place to go. Maybe they were having an off day or the main cook called out sick.

What a great dining experience..I was headed to Cabrillo Credit Union when I saw a sign that said Knockout Korean Fried Chicken..the server was fantastic and gave me some food suggestions since it was my first time ..I ordered the Angry chicken. Chicken gizzard, snow cheese fries and my fam member ordered Honey Garlic Chicken, Cole Slaw and Onion rings the food was amazing. Prompt service food was piping hot and tasted very good..I give this restaurant a 10..Awesome Experience

We stopped by for lunch and bought the Spicy soy boneless chicken with a side of fries. The chicken was very juicy and tender and the portion was more than enough for 2. Spicy soy sauce lacked a little bit of flavor in my opinion. The fries were fried and salted just right. The young man at the counter who took our order was very courteous and had great customer service. Definitely not somewhere I would say is a must try but would recommend if youre in the mood for juicy chicken that is a step above fast food chicken. Will eventually give it another shot and try another dish. 3.5 stars.

Better option than fast food fried chicken for sure. I will certainly be returning.I had spicy fried chicken, chicken sandwhich, and fries. Fries were perfection. Crispy on the outside and gooey mash inside. Chicken was good, too. They use rice flour to bread the chicken, which keeps it light and crispy.Wait times can be long (20 minutes), but that is because the food is prepared fresh. My chicken sandwich came with the wrong sauce (not angry sauce). This appears to be a recurring problem per other reviews. The young lady at the counter realized this and brought a side out after I was about halfway through. Generally, it was a pleasant experience.

This is the BEST Korean fried chicken Ive ever had. So good so worth the money its not even that expensive but its terrific quality. The Cajun fries are *chefs kiss* as well as the spicy soy fried chicken and the chicken sandwhich. Everything we got was 9/10 or 10/10. I wish I took a picture, that food was so good. I will be coming back soon!!!

Honestly I’m not the type to leave a review but the chicken was really good, I got the angry sauce and my brothers got the honey garlic and they were perfect to the Tee, not to mention the care they give their customers. Amazing customer service, probably the best I ever had. Highly recommend if you love chicken, I don’t know why they’re not flooded with customers 24/7

Ordered a chicken sandwich(8.99) and a kids meal(7.99).. Food was good. Only thing is they messed up on my order. I wanted the sandwich spicy so I asked for angry sauce with it but never got it. So I just ate the chicken sandwich regular since I had ordered it to go. Good thing I found out I was never charged for it so its ok. The kids meal had a good amount of chicken and fries, well worth the price.

Management is abysmal ordered something that was overcooked by some Spanish speaking cooks and when I receive order saw how badly overcooked it was so, naturally demanded refund and wanted too talk too management and was not there and cashier would not even know when manager is coming horrible service just horrible. I would not doubt management is hiring illegal Spanish speaking people for cooks. Way too expensive as well can get any chicken place way cheaper u mention any place such as Popeyes, churchs, KFC, El pollo loco etc....

Delicious. The breading is light, and tastes wonderful. We got the original tossed with spicy soy. And the 1/2 lb. Boneless to try all the sauces. I think they were great just plain!

Today, my wife and I were looking to get something different to eat and ended up at Knockout Chicken located at the Terranova Plaza in Chula Vista. We ordered 1lb of their fried chicken, some steamed rice, coleslaw and a couple of iced teas. The food was delicious and flavorful. We liked it. Our to-go food was properly packaged. Service was a little bit slow and seemed disorganized at times. If Knockout Chicken fixes the minor service issue they will be a solid 5 star food location. We will be back to try other items in their menu

First time at the restaurant and it wasnt that bad. Love how they make their chicken when ordered. So there is a bit of a wait vs kcf or Popeyes where the chicken is normally in warm oven thats already cooked. So we ordered the half order spicy soy and spicy chicken sandwich. Dont think there was anything special about the sandwich. However, the spicy soy chickens were really good. Dont agree with the price it was probably $2 more than it should have been and sides are separate as well. But we did order fries that we shared with the sandwich and their fires were pretty good. For the price I would go once every few weeks vs a kfc that I could go to once a week.

First of all I got my order on time but I asked for manager and he was not available and hes never available asked for him twice another day. Two the server matt was very rude over a question I had for him!!!. Finally after being told the second visit to koc that manager was not there but, coming soon I heard somebody in the kitchen being yelled by somebody else Im guessing the yelling came from manager since I was told by matt that he came once yelling was over and decided not too talk too him I was afraid to be honest. I feel sorry for employees to have such a yelling/screaming manager.

Chicken is fresh and crisp, I love their Ramen also. Very delicious. However lacks a little bit of selection. Non the less Im glad I tried it this is the second time I go. Also a little pricey but then again nowadays everything is.

Not sure if this is due to corporate, poor management or just lazy practice, but everything else left me feeling offended and taken advantage of.$20 for 12 pieces of chicken, a side and sauce. Thats what the menu says. Upon arrival to pick up my order, I find out its 10 pieces of chicken, no side or sauce. So it ended up being over $30 for a 10 piece, side and sauce. Thats three different items falsy advertised. It might be convenient to not change the menu and lure people in, but the menu should reflect the amount, prove and what it comes with. I own a business and would be mortified to appear this greedy, mismanaged and disorganized. This is so easily fixed and the fact that the worker wouldnt honor what is advertised is the reason for the harsh review.

Tried this place today. Fried Chicken was excellent. Very crispy and cooked perfectly on the inside. I preferred the original over the spicy. Sauces were flavorful. Coleslaw was good and the Kimchee was excellent. I have kids with gluten sensitivity so it was exciting for them to eat a fried chicken not made at home. We will definitely be back. Staff was helpful and food was prepared quickly.

Outstanding fried chicken. The Original fried was crispy, juicy, and flavorful. The boneless was a bit drier, but still good. Fries were tasty. Loved the corn salad. Service was very friendly. Absolutely the best fried chicken in the area!

Great customer service. Dining area is clean with bright lighting. Fried chicken was crispy and full of flavor from the sauce. When dining in, you receive refills on side garnishes such as kimche and pickled radish, as well as fountain drinks.

Ordered take out but the place looks clean, albeit a bit oily smelling. Really really good fried chicken. Crispy and not greasy. Juicy. Considerably better than Popeyes or Churchs. The cajun fries are pretty good too. Liked the cole slaw too. Wished the pickled radish wasnt diced but maybe longer spears. Ordered the 10 pc legs and thighs, but only got 9 pieces which I didnt discover until I got home.

The chicken is fine, but its expensive and nothing special. Its definitely not comparable to real Korean fried chicken. There was also a very rude, tall, long-haired, skinny-guy that got upset when I showed him they gave me the wrong wings... He said they changed the sweet and spicy sauce (they stopped using the Korean chili gochujang paste ) so its no longer the same as the picture from which I ordered from. After explaining they cant do that without telling the customer, he gave me more of an attitude like I should have known. Ultimately, he reluctantly gave me a refund and I left knowing I would never eat there again since they lack integrity and have mediocre chicken that matches his attitudes. I must say though, the female working that day was very nice and nothing like the male.

I do not know what they do to their chicken. The chicken is AMAZING! Probably the best chicken in San Diego. The service is great and the food is fresh. The dumplings are great as well. Nothing is perfect but these people know how to make chicken. The only drawback is that is a bit pricey, however you get your moneys worth in taste and quality.

Amazing food and even better customer service. Today was my 2nd time visiting Knockout Chicken and I had the pleasure of dealing w Dylan. I placed an order over the phone and when I went to pick up, there was a slight mix up on the order. Not only did he correct the mistake but went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Completely genuine and respectful transaction! It is not Cross Street in Kearney Mesa, the fried chicken breast is not even close; small pieces (chicken nugget size and smaller) of chicken so you get lots of batter which makes it super crispy (good) but the batter is tasteless. It comes with a spicy soy sauce for dunking which looks to be chili oil and soy sauce. Uber oily and not that tasty. Chicken is like 2 stars. Sauce needs to be rethought. Gave then an extra star because their cole slaw and pickled radish are very good.
