Kobe Gyukatsu in Rowland Heights

Kobe Gyukatsu exceeded our expectations! We savored the Spicy pork cutlet set, the Snowy cheese flakes gyukatsu set, and the Pork cutlet set, and every dish was a delightful experience. The food was superb, and the attentive service made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Forget anything I said before, this is my new favorite gyukatsu place🥢 Beef Gyukatsu🥢 Kelp Egg🥢 Corn CheeseI have been wanting to visit this restaurant for months now and what better time than the day we went to Oogie Boogie.Everything was soooo freaking delicious. The beef gyukatsu was absolutely amazing. Their kelp egg was so flavorful. The combo of these 2 things was to die for like soooo good.The corn cheese was probably the best corn cheese I’ve ever had. And not pictured here but we also tried their wagyu skewers and with lemon it was sooo freaking tasty. If I wasn’t food coma full already I probably would’ve ordered more of the skewer tbh.10/10 will go back and I’m actually already thinking of reasons for me to come back to the area so I can have it again lol.

Went on a Friday night so the place was pretty crowded. Background music was mostly kpop.There is a wait list by the door you’re supposed to use. Wish clearer directions were given by the staff or a sign, as I ended up standing awkwardly next to the door until a server pointed to the door where the wait list paper was hanged.The cheese corn and beef tongue tasted pretty good (especially the cheese corn after the edges crisped up). But feel like the taste of the curry cream udon dropped from my last visit in January.

Korean BBQ unlike others. They serve a variety of different grades of beef that you can place on a mini BBQ grill. There are also different types of delicious Korean dishes to choose from. The atmosphere is great. The staff are friendly. If you have a large party it is best to call ahead and make a reservation.

Portion is just right! Depending what you order, they’ll have mini side dishes. We wanted to experience the cooking part! The beef cutlet had a great texture. Pretty good quality meat. The sauce was also good! The sauces complimented the meal well. The pork cutlet in the sauce with cheese was good on the first few bites. The sauce was pretty heavy for me. It’s the same flavor for every bite so I didn’t end up finishing that dish. Party of 6 or more will have a gratuity added automatically. We went around 3:20.. and it was empty but when 4 hit, people started coming in so if you’re going for dinner. I’d go in early.

Enjoyed the food here more than I anticipated, and I really want to come back!I ordered the Premium Gyukatsu Combo, and Pork Cutlet Combo. Food was an unexpected delight! I really like how this place breads the beef. The flavor is not overwhelming, and adds a nice texture to the beef.The sides were also delicious! The salad was addicting. Once the food arrived, I thought to myself that it was not a lot of food (especially for how much I was paying). Cooking on the little heated grill is a nice aesthetic. By the end of the meal, I was stuffed and happy!!!The service here is great too! The outdoor dining is nicely spaced apart, and there is staff ready to assist at all times. Fantastic experience. Will definitely be returning.

Its a good experience to try the beef katsu combination and cream curry udon.

I was there during shelter in place. They were still open and they had outdoor seating at the parking lot. The waiters were really nice and patient. We ordered beef cutlet combo and spicy chicken cream fried noodles. The noodles were a little overcooked(too soft) but it still still tasted pretty good(it had good flavor). The beef came with a mini stove you can sear it with your own preference! Over all I had a good experience eating here.

I had a nice lunch with my brother here. He ordered the beef cutlet, which lets us cook the raw beef on a mini stone grill, and I ordered the pork cutlet. The cooking experience was nice since it wasnt very oily. My pork cutlet was juicy and tender. The complementing sauce was delicious as well. The portion is big enough for 2 people (if youre not that hungry).

Got a table after a short wait with no reservation at 6:15 on a Saturday. We ordered two noodles (kimchi cream noodles and the spicy noodles) and the beef cutlet and spicy pork cutlet. The beef cutlet even comes with a grill to cook a little more and it was delicious! The noodles were picture worthy and really tasty!
