The best sushi restaurant in town. The price is right and every roll is delicious. My toddler loves their crab salad so much. I used to order california rolls so he could have the crab salad but now I can just do $15 crab salad by itself. My favorites are catalina, king, and cherry blossom. Their chef is so amazing. On Valentines my husband asked him to make me a sushi heart and it was the best surprise for me :)

Order was wrong, the table all got their food before mine arrived fixed. They asparagus rolls were inedible, they used the hard stalks instead of the tips even when the item said asparagus tips rolls. We found a small rock inside my husbands roll. First and last visit!!!! Do not recommend!!!

Kobe Sushi is amazing! Everything tasted fresh and the waiter was very friendly! I would highly recommend the superbowl roll and Catalina roll, and even the miso soup, which I usually dont like from most places. To top it all off they give a cappuccino flavored hard candy with the receipt which is a much better end to a meal than a mint.

Unacceptable service was horrible. Worst service ever!!! Order one regular coke and a diet coke, the waitress just put it on the table and walked off and didnt let us know which one is which. Next we ordered the crunchy roll with cream cheese ( which they charged a dollar extra) when it came out the roll had cubes of cream cheese on TOP!!! Seriously is this how you present a dish!! I ask the waitress if they had forgotten the cream cheese so they just stuck it on top and her answer was I think so. Never coming back here again!!!

Sushi quality is poor here. The hamachi was chewy and terrible in taste and texture. First place in a long time that I haven’t left a tip. I ordered their sashimi platter and a roll there and was very dissatisfied. Didn’t even bother to finish my sashimi platter because I was afraid of getting food poisoning. I don’t know how this place d received such great reviews before. When the hostess served me the miso soup, I almost think that his thumb dipped into the soup right when he served it to me. No WiFi at this location either. Ended up going to get food at Panera down the street instead.

Worst place ever for sushi!! I ordered something from the menu which I bought it from there now more many times but the response from the chef was “ what’s kind of roll is that?” The cashier looked up the menu and told him exactly what it was. Then the chef said “ I don’t have the ingredients to make that with the look on his face don’t wanna make it or don’t care. I was about to order other things but decided to leave coz he his tone in responding infront of other customers was very insulting. Would not recommend anyone to go to such place to eat

I went there Thursday and I placed an order and it was $65.25 to my purchase was updated to $77.25 in which I left a cash tip and this waiter took it upon himself to add a tip. I called the restaurant today and I asked to speak to the manager and the lady asked me why and I explained what happened and she tells me that the waiter accidentally applied someone else tip to my debit card. Which I didn’t believe I believe it was done on purpose. The lady offered me to come in with my Id and they can refund the $12 in cash these no way to reverse it back to my card. Also while dining there another customer asked the waiter how has he been and the waiter said so-so that he recently met a nice girl and he’s been sober for 3 weeks now but seeing people at the restaurant drinking alcohol beverages is triggering him. …

This is our favorite sushi place in Natomas! They have delicious food, friendly service, good atmosphere, and their items are affordable. A big draw is that they have items that my child likes to eat. For example, you can order a side of chicken teriyaki or get a childrens meal for a very reasonable price. They also have simple ramen noodle soup that kids love. The miso soup is complimentary, too! Definitely our go-to sushi restaurant.

Total Disappointment. Little and very average sushi. the place is overpriced and had so dirty carpet. I have been in the restaurant multiple times during a few years course because of reviews and unfortunately, all the visits went the same unhappy way. It seems like it was my last visit. Went there around 7pm and it seemed like a quiet place with like 5-6 tables occupied. Waiter seemed out of it right when we stepped in. Didn’t get sat down until like 5-10 minutes in when tables were clearly open. Once we were took like 15 minutes to ask for what we like to drink. Then we ordered afterwards, boy, it took the food nearly an hour to get there. We only ordered 3 rolls and 2 appetizers and it took them one hour to make. The place wasn’t crazy busy so I didn’t understand why it took so long. The Waiter literally said he needed to take a cigar break and left the doors to do so. He honestly seemed like he didn’t want to be there anymore. Food was okay, but don’t think I’m coming back here. Either the chefs took way too long or the place is understaffed.

This is by far my favorite sushi restaurant, Ive been going here for about six years & they never once fail at making my sushi delicious. I always go with the rocky roll, its my favorite there! The house special roll and the kings roll are pretty delicious as well! The fish always taste fresh. Staff is amazing they always know who I am and what my order is going to be!

My wife and I visited Kobe on the account of the stellar reviews. We were excited because we live in the neighborhood. I honestly don’t understand where all the glowing reviews are coming from? I have to say that this is one of the worst (if not the worst) sushi restaurant I’ve been to; we’ve been to many wonderful sushi restaurants in Sacramento. This place sets a new low. The rolls were worse than supermarket sushi! The sushi was flavorless and the rolls were mostly rice. The rolls tasted and looked liked they were assembled by an amateur who took one session at sushi making class. The miso soup tasted like days old; you can tell by the color and consistency of the tofu. We live in Natomas and it pains me to write this as we love to support local businesses and I wanted them to be good. However, I want to be clear that this place does NOT deserve the current rating it received from the other reviewers. I hope that this review will give future review-seekers a more balanced perspective at this restaurant.

Excellent service and incredibly delicious sashimi. Not pretentious and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced. Soft shell crab appetizer is the perfect combination of crispy and crunchy. It is a little hole in the wall that you might miss in a Natomas shopping center, but the decor and windows make it a bright and fun place.

If you love sushi this is the spot! Thursday is the best day to go. Fresh fish! David, grandpa and Scott are wonderful people. If you have a chance stop by for a roll or two ask for a Nathan poké roll! Its not on the menu. Enjoy!

Best rolls in the area. I like to treat myself here when I have a good day on the stock market. Its been the same chef here every time I arrive for past nine years at least, and even though sometimes its some time between visits, the chef always recognizes me and invites me to hang with him at the sushi bar where his talents are on display and his attention to service and quality are top notch. The Natomas roll and sunrise roll are my favorites, but do not rule out the rainbow roll if you like variety. I love this place in Natomas and Im sad that Im moving out of range soon.

I love this place. Lots of regulars. On second thought, perhaps I shouldnt post this, theyll get too popular and therell be no room at the sushi bar! David, Scott, and Grandpa are the Sushi Chefs. Ive tried a variety of rolls before going on a low carb diet. David helped me figure out ways I can still eat Sushi and maintain my weight loss. I order Sashimi, and he makes me a special salad thats low in carbs and doesnt have sugar in it. Ive lost 50 pounds in 3 months of my diet, and I eat here 2-3 times a week. Love it.

We always go to this place and the service is always great, usually. Except for the last two times. Whatever teenage female they hired she needs some major customer service guidance. She is kind of rude and makes dining there feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. We would ask her for a high chair and she literally would say in the rudest manner, “yeah ok”, and then point to them in a, “go get it yourself” demeanor. She has no patience either. She also talks about the customers and we can hear her. Don’t really want to dine there with her there. She doesn’t really serve her customers well, she’s always on the phone and when you ask for assistance she looks at you like you’re the most annoying thing in the world, she has zero class.
