If you are looking for the most authentic fried and (especially) grilled kibbeh, this is the place for you! I havent been able to find grilled kibbeh much (if at all) in the US. This place was the real deal! As soon as you cut into the grilled kibbeh, all of the oils start flowing out. The taste was heavenly. We were staying an hour away and we still feel the drive was absolutely worth it just to eat here. Plus, the staff here are very friendly!! Thank you all so much, we cant wait to come back.

Such delicious Middle Eastern food! 5*Fresh salad with spices, the best in town tabouli, oven backed thin pita, balanced spiced pickles, tahini filled baba-ganoush and in oil crispy backed falafel!Nice fresh green interior color of the walls with many ‘best-of-town’ nominations - well deserved!Odd: it’s a family run restaurant and we saw a hot tempered teenage boy made a scene in the kitchen and kept being glued to his phone on the side of chef of the restaurant having lunch.I get it’s a Syrian restaurant, and there is pleasant Arabian music and the traditional one. After some time it gets too much.Minor things to improve: dark think hair found in the salad and no hand towels in the bathroom. But that food it’s worth it.The younger lady server/cook was extremely friendly and consulted us on vegan options.

My first time here, this place is amazing. The food is great and the staff are very friendly. I feel like they are underrated because with this type of quality this place should be packed 24/7. Please visit and support them!

No frills amazing Syrian food (lived in the ME and traveled a long time ago to Syria). This place is authentic and the folks here are all Syrian. I devoured the shawarma when I forgot to take a picture. Beef is Devine, soft and break apart. The wrap is crispy which makes this thing even more amazing. An oh man, the hot sauce! It’s a homeMade chili crunch with a Syrian twist. Am trying the hummus and baba when I get home…

🇸🇾 SYRIA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - Success can sometimes be fleeting for restaurants, a rush of business always follows important exposure but eventually calms back down for most places. Thankfully the mother and daughter chefs of this Syrian kitchen took it all in stride and never changed their process. Nine years after first opening, the food is as good as ever and only seems like it will continue this way in the future.

A Jonathan Gold spot for kobee which combines ground beef wrapped in either bulgur or cracked wheat. The fried ones are football shaped and good but not sure if theyre great. The menu has quite the assortment and wed love to try the some other dishes. Musadeen which seems to be an off-menu special involving lamb intestines stuffed with rice, ground beef, and spices in a beef broth. Magloba, which may need to be preordered, a mountain of rice folded with fried eggplant, chicken and almonds thats layered and baked into a dome

Home made meals cooked to perfection. If you are a busy person who doesn’t have the time or don’t know how to cook and wishing for a dish similar to your mom’s delicious food, look no more. Don’t forget to ask about the dish of the day, you won’t regret it!
